[Resolved]  Telephone — reluctance &lethargy by telephone

Dear Sir / Madam,

We applied for BSNL connection during Dec 08 for Landline with Internet.

The department came with the WLL phone and assured due to cable shortage they will replace the same with the proper instrument and internet connection.

It is quite to strange to note that the BSNL service is so poor and the engineer's or the concenred AE, DE are least bothered to consumer's request. In fact the AE of Thiruninravur promised saying
that you will be given top priority in replacing with the proper instrument and themodem.

To bring toyour notice the Thiruninravur exchange has taken full liberty in clearing the similar request of another customer who has registered after us has been given proper connection.

This surprises me how come the telephones were able to get the cable or instrument or the required material.

Either the customer is being forced by the department for any funds to take care of their needs by surpassing the seniority of the complaints.

Are the higher officials of BSNL authorities knowingly keeping silent and allowing the AE's or JE's to go ahead and violate customer's request.

I request the department to investigate and need the modem and the proper instrument to be replaced with 48 hours from the time this is received by you.

Being an Indian I feel it is a shame the way which BSNL advertises about Broadband and there are number of customers being misguided by BSNL in our area.

Whenever you ask the only repeated answer is there is no cable and some sort of excuses givenby the AE , DE by Thiruninravur..

Trust by this BSNL will atleast take some proper measures to speed your action to customers like me.

telephone — NON-RECEIPT OF TELEPHONE BILL

Dear Sir,

I am writing this complaint on behalf of Managing Committee of M/s. A.K.K.K Sabha, Anushaktinagar. Since October 2007, we have not been receiving telephone bill in respect of our telephone no.[protected]. Once we were denied of making calls from our instrument for not making timely payment due to non-receipt of telephone bill during one of the billing cycle. We are contacting Reliance Webworld to enquire about our bill. But they are helpless. Kindly arrange to dispatch our monthly bill in time regularly in future.

I took new IDEA sim card from Idea cellular ltd.they told that it will get activated within 48 hours but after 15 days also i didn't get activated. even i called to customer care so many times and mailed also they will tell that it will get activated within one day but it didn't happen like that really i am fed up with that IDEA. at lost i decided not to go for Idea. even they are not answering my calls also so please do justice by taking action on them

telephone — Improper Billing

This complaint is regarding the bill# [protected] dated July 10. We have been charged for the calls that we did not make.We have received bill stating that we have made 19 calls. We have not done even a single outgoing call I'm not sure then why are we charged for that? I called up customer care (1500) and registered complaint on 16 July 2010.

I've been told that i will receive a call back from Accounts officer in 24hrs. But I did not receive any such call. I called 1500 back next day to know the status but in vain. They gave an improper response. I kept calling them again and finally they told that I wold receive call before EOD that day. Some lady called back on 21 July 2010 evening around 4 PM and asked me to pay the bill and they will follow up later. I said i wil not pay the bill for the calls made by someone else.
Today i went to Avadi bsnl office and got the detailed call summary. In that all the calls are made on the same day - 22 Jun 2010 to the numbers that are not at al known to me and my family.
From the time we took connection we have not made any outgoing calls. We just use it for internet connection and dont use it for calls. Request you to take action at the earliest as we have to pay the bill before 30th of this month (July 2010).

DEAR SIR/MAM ,

MY LANDLINE WAS DEAD WHOLE OF THE LAST MONTH , I COMPLAINED FOR IT ON 13TH BUT IT WAS STILL NOT WORKING LATER I PLACED ANOTHER COMPLAINT ON 27TH AND THEN IT STARTED WORKING.

AS MY LANDLINE WAS DEAD FOR MORE THAN A MONTH SHOULD IT BE NOT RIGHT FOR ME NOT TO PAY THIS MONTHS BILL.
EVEN IN THE BILL YOU CAN SEE NOR A SINGLE CALL NOR USE OF INTERNET IS THERE ONLY THE MONTHLY CHARGES OF RS. 250 + TAX IS THERE .
