[Resolved]  The Heels, Connaught Place — Double Debit to my SB A/c

Dear Sir, I made purchase from The Heels Footwear Shop in Connaught Place New Delhi on 04/10/2010. The amount Rs.3778/= was debited to my account no. [protected] thru debit card no [protected] issued by PBB div New Delhi.On checking my balance online next day I came to know about the error & immediately brought it to the notice of our card centre,who gave me complaint ref no AT[protected] & told me that it will be dealt with within a week's time. But nothing has happened, Today again when I contacted them they have told me it will be dealt in 45 days time. I am shocked why such a long time when transaction is being reflected in my account & the centre has received related document from the shop then why MY OWN BANK IS TAKING SO LONG TO REVERSE THIS ENTRY( I am a retired SBI Employee having given 30 years of faithful service to the bank & customers)? I wanted to speak to some senior executive at the card centre but despite four requests they diconnect each time after putting me on hold for a minutes time! Sir This may be a big shop but what if the shop we make a purchase shuts down, from where bank will recover funds & make refund to me? With such a poor service why will one refer a person to go to SBI whereas Banks like ICICI & Stanchart give service within 24 hours( I personally have got it ).Hope you understand the plight of a pensioner & will look into the matter.
