ast year in first week of april 2012 we bought a mobile sony xperia worth rs 25000/- from Mobile store Elgin road kolkata.after using it for 10 odd days, it started hanging continuously. we went to mobile store and they they will repair it and not replace. after too much verbal fights they agree on replacement instead of repair. We bought samsung mobile S II which was approx 5000/- expensive. We gave them 5000/- approx and bought this samsung thinking atleast now we wont have this trouble. thr area manager was very kind to give us home delivery of the new mobile and saved us from travelling to thr store. After six months of buying a 30000/- mobile we faced the no display problem. The whole software went for the fix. this time we asked them to please refund our money as now we cannt trust the BRAND MOBILE STORE anymore. But again thr area manager was we are providing u the service and all blah bla .....we thought to give them a chance again. Now again after 5 months the display has gone for a fix. we again go to mobile store on 26 mar 2013 ie today and are asked to visit to the service center., after talking to area manager they accepted our mobile for repair. my only question is when u buy such an expensive thing (atleast this expensive for ppl like us), u spend ur hard earn money , is it fair to give it for servicing twice/thrice within 1 year? the company should be ashamed of itself and refund our money coz replacement we have tried, servicing also we have tried. now as soon as our warranty period will be over probably they won’t entertain us also and would charge for this repair coz in every 5 months this mobile goes for a fix.
