[Resolved]  Thomas Cook — INTERNATIONAL TICKET GOO[censored]P..

I called up THOMAS COOK.. to book my tickets... for BIRHMINGHAM, ALBAMA ; U.S...
keeps me on hold for... 8 mins.. after dat asks my email id details...
Thats done.. I even mailed them details specifying the ticket from... bangalore to birmingham, alabama...
this happened at main branch mumbai office... because i recide at bangalore.. they tell me to give a call before i reach at bangalore office... at mumbai office so that THOMAS COOK ( MUMBAI ) can fwd the ticket details to bangalore office.. to my horror just a day before my travel whn i call up.. thy tell me " BY MISTAKE YHEY HAVE BOOKED UP FOR BIRMINGHAM, U.K" so insted of the current ticket price of Rs 27, 000 You will have to pay Rs1, 40, 000...

now there is no compensation from company, no official apologies.. jus a plain sorry.. if they cant distinguish between U.S.A and U.k... they could have mailed or called up to clarify the confusion..even after the fact I had clearly mailed the details...

I am a student... I had to fly on the specified date... Its all taking advantage of the situation...THIS IS NOWAY AN INTERNATIONAL SERVICE..degrade the VENTURE instead...
