I know how you feel. The entire online transaction process is like that, nothing specific to operators; I won't name the companies, but I've had the same experience when booking movie tickets on a multiplex website, train tickets on railways website, airline tickets on international carrier websites and a hotel booking in Hong Kong on the hotel website.
