Times Of India NewsPaper — Non receipt of gift & Coupon

Iam residing at No.26 LIC Colony, East Tambaram, Chennai-59 Mobile [protected]. I have paid Rs. 299/- through online for the renewal of Times of India Newspaper and the new order number is NAA[protected]. But till date, I have not received my gift and Voucher coupon despite repeated phone reminders. I am getting my newspaper daily but when they ask for coupon, how could I settle to them. Since no steps have been taken sofar and creates mental agony, I hope this complaint will restore without any undue delay. I hope the management will take stringent action against the erring official and save the company image pl.

I am also facing same problem of non-delivery of times of india news paper.I am not getting the paper for the past 8 days since 28th August 2010. In this regard i have complained to TOI OFFICE more than 4 times but no response from the concerned authorites.This is highly condemnable. Their Local field staff karthik is very arrogant and discourteous to the subscribers.He is at selaiyur( camp road). The authorities should remove him forthwith because he is doing disservice to the TOI. After collecting pre-paid subscription for 12 months, TOI OFFICIALS are not bothered about delivery of news paper to subscribers. It is high time people should boycot TOI PAPER and switch over to some other paper. Definitely, people will teach them a befitting reply to the callous and indifferent attitude of the authorities of TOI .

i have been reading the hindu since 1963 onwards and now i shated to times of india ever since you lanunched in chennai. now a days you are missing the share quotaions, particularly on 26th november, and 2nd december. this is very important news item which many of my friends and chennai readers are interested in noting them . if you continuously do not publish the share quotations, i think many of the readers may have to go back to the hindu. it is left to you. any feedback is highly appreciated.

I too face irregular delivery of this paper. May be due to the negligence of TOI or no tracking mechanism the delivery boy or the delivery agent make a quick buck in not delivering the copy to subscribers.

TOI should device a feedback mechanism to resolve such issues on daily basis through email and how many copies are not delivered to subscribers.

Times of India-Chennai Edition — No issue of Paper supplied even for a single Day

Sir i applied for times 1yr subscription pack & after gettin the booklet order No-NAA 113786 in 'Jan 09', i nad not received the Newspaper to my place even a single Day its been months, i hav been calling to Chennai marketing Dept(Mr.Srinivasan) but i hav not received my Refund / any response frm them, So now i hav decided to File a Suit immediatly, if this complaint does'nt affect them..

I too face problem reg the irregular delivery of this paper. This is purly due to the negligence of TOI.

The delivery boy or the delivery agent also switching off their mobiles.Unable to reach them.Even i have not received the bag which TOI have to as per the offer.

I also got a call from TOI regarding feedback, i also informed them about this.But still no actions seems to have been taken.

TOI definitely needs to look into these complaints.

From the first day of my subscription this year, I get my paper only round 8 AM. It is hardly of any use to me as I need to leave home to my office around 8 AM. Well, it is was good last time that atleast i was given 12 coupons and had a choice to move to a different dealer in between. This year, my dealer has not even shown my subscription form and all I have is the order form and I have been fighting with him over past few months to return my form so that I can move to a different dealer. Atleast, once in a month I don't get TOI at all. When I call my dealer, he gives some lame excuse. His RRE code is CR0130.

I also buy The Hindu paper and there is a another dealer incharge of it. I usually get the Hindu paper within 6.30 AM. He also supplies TOI. I wish to switch over my dealer.

Regarding this I have complained thrice to TOI call centre and of no use. My latest complaint reference is 185254. I was promissed that the problem would be sorted out by Monday (25th May) but still the complaint is in pending status. Even today morning I called up the call centre for checking the status.

Well, as far as TOI is concerned I have paid my cheque to Benett and Coleman and think TOI is responsible for this poor service.


Could anybody from TOI call up and solve my problem. Else, I might need to take this issue to Consumer court for poor service ( whether you care or not.)

This is to bring to your kind attention that I am a regular subscriber to TOI for the past 3 years. Prior to this I was a regular reader of "The Hindu" for more than 10 years. I have also recommended more than 15 persons to subscribe TOI.

Worst Service

I received my copy daily on time (Before 6:30 am) during the 1st year and I was happy on the service and quality, which also made me to subscribe for the next year (last year). But from last year this has become worse, I neither receive my copy on time(Min only after 7.30) nor receive the paper regularly. if it rains I am sure now that I will not get the paper for the day, even my kid knows that.

Especially even it drizzles I don't get the paper for the day and sometimes the paper is delivered to me the next day or day after. (2 or 3 papers at a time)

This I have complained to the call centre and also to the agent many times. Still there is no improvement.

This is clearly visible that there is no respect or response if we complain to any.

Subscription renewal

Still when your person called us for this year[protected] subscription renewal, we had a second thought and after lot of hesitance we renewed on the assurance given by your team that all the issues will be sorted out. Keeping some faith on your esteemed TOI we further renewed for this year also, well ahead of the date of expiry.

But till date I have not received my copy. I received my last copy on 19 th Aug 2010. After the rain on 20th i have not received my copy till now. As per my old order i hope I am supposed to get my copy till 30 th of august 2010 where the subs of last year started from 1st September 2009.

Apart from this I have renewed for this year on 17/08/2010, (RRE Code : CR 1973, Depot Code: D3165, Dealer Code :[protected] Still i have not received the subscribtion.

Call center

I would have contacted the call center many times ( around 20 times in the 2 months) but of no use.

Even for this subscribtion I am calling the call certer almost daily and every day i get an assurance from different person/agents that this will be solved today. But nothing has happened till now.

Finally after raising my voice with the agents yesterday a person named Karthik call up and told that this will be sorted out today and he was on the way to our house to meet us. But till now he has not turned up and if we try to call him up he is not picking up the call.

Past 1 month I am suffering to get my copy but no one is able to help me out. Finally TOI has proved that they dont care about subscribers/ customers. The pain is only for the customer and TOI doesnt care about this is very much evident.

I am a Pre-paid subscriber of the Times of India since its inception in Chennai. There was not much problem in the delivery of the paper for the first TWO years. During this current year, I am not receiving the paper then and there. But to my surprise, I am not receiving the paper at all for the past 20 days continuously. When enquired, I was told by the vendor that sufficient number of copies are not supplied by the Times of India to cater the pre-paid subscribers. I hope you will understand the problem and expect you to do the needful in the matter.

I haven't received the paper for the past two weeks properly. The delivery boys usually throws the papers at my house. That is ok and understandable, if it falls at my place. sometimes the papers were thrown in lane and they were just leaving. If we tell them they are behaving harshly. Delivery is also very irregular. please pay attention on this serious issue and do the need full. It is completely spoils the reputation of the paper. You may tend to loose many customers.

Non Receipt of Times of India coupons

I have not yet received the Coupons of Times of India. My Cheque no. 873812 dated[protected] for Rs. 470 which has been debited from my Account. Please take necessary steps.

Times Of India — Paper Delivery

I have subscribed for The Times of India
order no. 06514 and paid Rs 175 . My date of implementation was 16.12.2007.
The delivery of the news paper is generally irregular. added to this the paper-boy
puts "Deccan-Chronicle" & sometimes "Eenadu" instead of "TOI" & sometimes nothing when we are
not at home.

I have applied for transfer of the subscription from Motinagar to Miyapur on[protected]as i have shifted).
he said it be done within 2-3 days & i'll start getting papers from Saturday[protected] at the
new location.
Till date, I have not received any issue, it has been almost 7 days now.
I contacted the concerned person Mr.Akbar of times of india on saturday & he promised to deliver issues from
Sunday onwards. Sunday went, Monday went, Tuesday went, but nothing has happened till now.

I do not expect the Times of india people, to be so lethargic & behave like other government organisations,
because going forward, people start losing faith in you.

Hope The Times of India management will tighten their loosened reins, atleast to some extent.

My Times of India order number is 1023311. I have subscribed for 6 months. Delivery is irregular. Will the reputed publishing house like TOI safeguard its image and reputation.

I have recently moved to Gurgaon. The paper delivery person here demands Rs 200 as security deposit before he will deliver the newspaper. I am not sure if this is normal. I have been reading the TOI for donkeys years and have never deposited any security amount in the past. Do I have to pay this amount?

I agree. I have also pre-paid for regular delivery of Times of India by crossed cheque and renewed my subscription periodically. But I do not get regular delivery. ToI does not even respond not to speak of attending to the problem. Instead, its staff find fault with me for not quoting my ToI order number, which they have not given me till today. It is high time Indian press turns introspective and mature. I have similar problems with the Hindustan times also whose staff refuse to understand the issues raised.

we have subscribed for 1yr times of india...and got an useless flask, its of no use and doest work its a cheating, thn since v misplaced the coupon v have given a letter regarding to it, first thy said it was ok but now no responsibility is taken and v have paid the full amount in the start, but thy never bother to supply paper, , thy have been cheating...plz take a note and clear this problem...

Times of India subsription is the biggest fraud in the city of hyderabad.I'm also the victim of this kind of subscription.I had never received the newspaper till date, out of 90 issues i had received only 10 till date.

This is palanikumar .I have subscribed the times of India news paper on 24/3/2009. order no NAB 088291
Paper issue cycle starts on April 14th. Till now I didn’t receive any papers from the issue date.
I complaint regarding this three times thru helpline. But the only response from helpline is “we will issue the paper from tomorrow onwards’. But no steps further.
It annoys me to above my extend. On belife of this i unsubscribe the HINDU newspaper

Times of India-6month subscription — News paper is not received since past 5 days

I am a subscriber of 6 month subscription of Times of India Neredmet Old police station. Since past 5 days I have not been recieving the newspaper.When asked about the supply of newspaper the area distributor states that he had outsourced the services to some other person. Since the subscription money was paid to the TOI, I had contacted the TOI office almost everyday, but got only one reply stating that you shall recieve the newspaper tomorrow, had this tomorrow never arrived.

I am not receiving the newspaper for the past 10 days I am working in Govt. Job and imported news not receiving without newspaper. Delivery person no step, My address is H.N.-111, Sec.-5, Chiranjeev Vihar, Ghaziabad.NCR

Hi All - I'm too shocked to see many of you have registered your complaint against Times of India (TOI). I'm also joining the group. I had shifted my residence in Jan 2011 and informed the customer care. It's more than 5 months and till today haven't received the paper. Believe me or not, more than 15 calls have been made to the customer care line[protected] and two emails have been sent and still haven’t seen any action on my complaint. The way the calls are handled is pathetic – lack telephone etiquette and are least bother. Looks like being in the call center for the customer care executive is just a time pass these folks. They also misrepresented their identity – when requested to pass my call to their supervisor, the call was passed to another colleague at the same level who pretended like a supervisor. It is also surprising to hear that there are no supervisors to handle any escalation and they are the last resort for any resolution.
Request one of you to guide me in getting the TOI management who could resolve this problem.

Hi I am RAVIINDRA residing at Hyderabad and paid 6 months annual subscription fee up-font, I am receiving hardly daily newspaper on daily basis, weekly we miss out twice, this is since last 2 months or so, yesterday we catch hold of your delivery person and questioned him and he was so rude in his behavior and was least bothered to respond and was stating you have paid to TIMES not to us... I[censored] have any questions regarding this check with whom u paid money... this is the attitude of your down-line people, who are in turn spoiling your publisher image .

During your promotion time your employees / direct agents will convince and pick order from end customer and least bothered about service which is being rendered ...Is this way to handle your customer and make him dis-satisfied by opting yours ... If this happens to a named publisher which is not acceptable or expected.

Maintaining the quality of news itself doesn't solve the purpose, service which makes a big difference, being appointing this sort of agents and no fall back mechanism to check the feedback from customers whom you took subscription for 6 / 12 months money in advance, You should take customer feedback as questioner format covering all points wright from the news coverage to delivery of paper to END customer, which helps u in turn the improving your circulation...It helps in set wright if any flaws found against the feed backs collected.

This is a suggestion from your customer and expecting you shall take proper measure to set wright the concerns expressed above.

The Times Of India — Prize for Commonwealth competition not received

I had participated on the Common Wealth Contest in The Times of India and won the prize twice on September 11th and 19th September(2008) in the Common wealth trivia category. I received a call from Times of India and confirming my name for it. After enquiring about when will I receive the prize they told me it will take a months time. My name also appeared on the newspaper and I eagerly waited for the prize to come, yet I have not received the prize till date. I request the Times of India to please to please relsolve this matter immediately.

I stayed in many big cities of India since I was working in defense.So far I had never found that anybody is charging any delivery charges for delivering the news papers. After arriving in Pune, I am asked to pay Rs 10/ delivery charge for delivering your news papers every month.

I had bought a inverter from Su-Kam with two batteries. the batteries failed and there was a field survey. I want to share my experience with an auto rickshaw driver. This incident occurred on 2nd October at night 9:15. Rickshaw number: MH12 F7273. I was traveling from Kasturi chowk to bibvewadi by an auto rickshaw. on returning the rickshaw driver told me an amount which i thought was not correct. On asking to show the terrif card the rickshaw driver started arguing a lot in a high volume. In a residential area he raising his voice was already very insulting. on top of that the driver started telling me the calculations for rate. after asking him to show me the terrif card again he arrogantly gave a blunt answer saying that "all educated people understand the calculations and carry their own cards".on telling him that its mandatory for rickshaw drivers to carry the card the driver said "go and complaint" the question which i want an answer for is that did government implement the terrif card facility for the convenience of auto customers or to insult them by these so called "educated rickshaw drivers"..??? Also, what action will be taken against such drivers? and is it true that because no strict actions are taken against these drivers they are not even scared of police and government..!!!


The issue is not monetary, its ethics.

hello my name is onkar londhe, i live in kothrud on paud road. it would be glad if pune mirror took initiative in this complaint of mine. the complaint is that, every night many boys( loafers)- so called gang(about 20 boys) are there in front of my house. they do all annoying things in front of our house. they shout, scream, fight. this all takes place every night between 10 pm to 1am. it is very disturbing to all o[censored]s, as we have a little 1 yr old baby in our house and a 80 yr old grandmother. they both are not able to sleep because of this. when we try to talk to them they back answer, do comments and threaten us. they even do damage to our property. we tried to do police complaints, but the police says that, first tell us your name and do a registry, only then we will look into the matter. we are scared to do this because we feel if these boys come to know that we have done the complaint then they can pose a problem to use. we even tried to talk to our society but no response from them either. so i wanted to contact you, so that you could look into the matter and help use out. i would really appreciate your co-operation. thank you.

Today (03.08.2010) i bought times of india near Vidyapeeta circle the Shop Name is UDUPI STORES i havent receveid the complimentary copy of bangalore mirror.

On 13 June, I went to RTO by 10:00 am, to avoid da problems, for getting a learning licence for my younger brother... To my surprise as soon as i entered in RTO near Sangam Bridge and parked my vehicle ... i did not receive any receipt as such (but for which i was charged while leaving)...secondly der was no gatekeeper as such but i was surrounded by all agents who gethered around me ... i then enquired for the form to fill .. but no official was der to provide me that ...some people told dat it was provided by agents who charged 10-20 Rs for that xerox form of copy ...which was ridiculous and 2 my surprise a guy inside da office sold it 2 me for Rs 10 ... then i arranged all my copies and true copies along with form to avoid inconvinience ...as soon as i reached officer ... they told me dat my 16 yrs bro could not be provided with licencebcoz he was nt accompanied by our parents but i was with my bro n m an adult n hold a permanant licenece ...inspite of providing them all da proofs they did not listen to me ... and sent me out ... (the reason was i had no agent ... bcoz guys with agents wer nt even checked properly ... but everything was Ok with them ...while 1 agent was ready 2 give licence inspite of incomplete proofs provided he was paid fat)i had lost my nuts ... i then went for Public Relation Officer ... who came by 11:00 ... was ready to sign on my form (it proves dat officers prior wer wrong) ... but due to some reason i was again refused ...and he said he would leave by 12:00 noon...and did not listen 2 me ...

it was a terrible experience ... and we were not done with licence ...

it was for learning licence ... for permanant licence it is more pathetic ...believe me noone can go through without agent ...
i hav come acrossed a traffic police . who insisted me 2 hire an agent bcoz process is slow ... which is ridiculous ...

i m writing dis with a long ray of hope ... bcoz dis was da first thought dat came 2 ma mind, , , , , , dat it should b corrected and we cant spare our money and time to dat agents which is a ht of corruption...

I own a 3000 sq feet plot in Bopodi which is a part of 4000 sq feet plot (H), in the remaining 1000 sq feet plot one had constructed illegal construction in the side margin due to which my building plan had got stuck at PMC - Ghule ward road office.

I had requested the Executive Engineer to look into the matter. They refused to take action on illegal construction at the plot since they did not have any complaint. I personally went and gave an official complaint in the month of Feb 2010 regarding the illegal construction. The PMC shooted a notice in the month of March 2010 and assured that within 30 days if they themselves dont remove the illegal constuction we will take action against the same. But till date they have not taken any action inspite of so many meeting with them. They are mum on this issue, if we discuss with them they say that they have political pressure and cant take action. As a lay man i dont understant are they working for the city corporation or for political leader, what are they for (Law and Order) or not. I know that Pune Mirror can take this issue us and give us justice.

Please let me know the channel to get this issue sorted out as this is pending for such a long time

I subscribed for Times Of India "Student Offer"(Order # 10181). I was said that I would receive the Standard Edition of Times of India except on Sunday's. But, on the first day when I received the Newspaper, they gave me Times Of India "Student Edition".

I called them repeatedly and requested them that I don't need the newspaper at all. But still they just throw away on my Door daily and go. This is not the problem with only me...there are many other people in my Complex facing problems with these guys.

Customer code 200355, where the service was pathetic. The paper was never delivered before 10am... and at times not even delivered. I called the Times office several times and asked them to stop the newspaper delivery due to very bad service, and was told once the subscription amount is exhausted the delivery will be stopped. However, now the delivery boy is demanding money for the past few months of paper delivered. I was under the impression that the paper is delivered for the several complaints raised.. as a service gesture.. However, this is not the case as realised now. The boy never comes when we are at home, at times, had to ask the watchman to know if the boy had come as there is no trace of the paper.
Appreciate if you can look into the issue.

This the case only with Hyderabad circle because every vendor here can follow their own rules and have no monitoring set on them. Its not the case of news paper agency only, but with all types of vendors including Vegetables and Auto Drivers. Strict rules and monitoring system has to be implemented so that all vendors can be prosecuted when misbehaved with customers.

In District Bilaspur of Himachal Pradesh, the Sunday Times are always distributed without the supplement. The vendor is telling that the supplements are not being recived by him and are not sent from Chandigarh. Please take up the issue.

I came to know that the resident of Kolkata get TOI by paying Rs. 200 ( Two hundred only ) for one year subscription. But there is no such facility in Haldia. We have to pay almost Rs. 100 per month.

Pls do the needful so that we are able to purchased TOI at a cheaper rate.

THE MESG IS FOR THE PERSON / DEPTT WHO LOOKS AFTER CIRCULATION OF THE TIMES OF INDIA NEWS PAPER AT KOLKATA, W.B., INDIA.

I have paid in advance the required payment for getting The Times of India Kolkata newspaper under the scheme provided by Mr. Reyaz Ahmed (RRE Code:[protected].

Mr. Reyaz put a 5 with a pen before Rs. 9 and took Rs. 60 (instead of Rs. 9) from my wife for 6-months' Sunday Times of India along with a cheque of Rs. 390 (for other TOI editions) for a 6-months' subscription. He told Rs. 51 were taken extra for some magazines, which have also not been provided to me as yet.

Membership coupons have also not been received by us.

Now, Mr. Reyaz is not picking up the phone (Mobile No.[protected].

I do not expect this kind of service from a newspaper like TOI.

I renewed my subscription in June 2009 and my cheque was encashed on4th July and yet till date I have not received the coupons for the paper although I need to give my venndor urgently the coupon.
The telephone numbers given are either dead or not answered as I have failed to connect the office to register my complaint.
In case it is of any help my Order No. is RTOY 3033895 dated 23 06 2009. The subscription was paid by SBI cheque no 216416 dated 23 06 2009 and encashed on 04 07 2009.

I sincerely hope this will receive the attention it deserves and renew confidence in the mind of a reader who has subscribed to this group since they started publication from Calcutta.

Dear Sir,
I am a regular subscriber of Times of India, Kolkata and subscribe to it through your annual schemes.
This time I was called by your booking agency on 12.11.2010, informing me that my subscription is due for renewal and if I subscribe immediately, it will be continuation of the earlier subscription without any break. I agreed and requested the caller to send the representative next day i.e., 13.11.10 around 9: 00 AM, to complete the formality and receive the cheque payment,
which they agreed and confirmed. Unfortunately, inspite of waiting through out the day nobody did turn up on 13th.
I received next call from another caller on 26.11.10, 18:40 hrs. asking for the same renewal and promising to come to my residence on 28.11.10 in the morning around 9 : 30 Am. This time though the person visited my residence on 28.11.10, it was 13:30 hrs., instead of 9:30 AM.
A crossed a/c. payee cheque for Rs. 390.00 ( drawn on SBI Baroda Park, B.G cheque no. 383786 dt 28.11.10) in favour of BENNETT&COLEMAN & CO LTD. and cash of Rs. 9.00 was given to him towards 1(One) years subscription. Name of the concerned representative: Sri BUBAI SINGH, RRE Code : 21537367 and Vendors Name & Code:TARUN DAS, Depot Code:KO326, Jadavpur.

I have not heard any thing either from him, the vendor or Times of India in this regard and totally in dark about the renewal.

Can we expect this sort of service and response from TOI or Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.? Surely not and r you to kindly look into the matter.

Nisar Ahmed approached us saying the said cheque was returned and the amount may please be paid in cash, trusting on him, I again Paid Rs. 390 & Rs. 20 in cash vide receipt No. RTOY/3671854 dated 27/04/2012, but till date coupons / vouchers are not provided to us, though Mr. Ahmed assured me that the same shall be delivered through the vendor within a weeks time. Since then I have been trying to contact Md. Nisar Ahmed on his Mobile No. [protected], but getting no replies from him, either he disconnects the line or getting switch off message.
Still I am paying every month to the vendor in cash.
Through this mail I am lodging my complaint with the concern authorities at TOI, Kolkata to look into the issue promptly and make the coupons/ vouchers available at my home immediately, so that I could continue with TOI.
Please note if within 7 days the coupons/vouchers are not delivered at my place, I will certainly discontinue TOI and will ask all my neighbors, friends not to opt for TOI.

Further to my above letter, I am informed by my Bank ( Canara Bank, Garia Branch ) that above cheque, payable to M/S Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., was encashed on 17.04.14 itself . As such I fail to understand the reason for this inordinate delay in sending the Coupons to me.

In view of the above, I request Times Of India Newspaper to arrange to deliver the Coupons for 12 months to me immediately without further loss of time.

The TImes of India — non delivery of promised subscription gift offer

I have placed an order for subscription to the times of india on 17/06/07 vide my subscription order No RTO 1402009 and as per times bonanza offer there was a commited gift" a dinner set" but it is seen that after a lapse of four months of delivary date of gift it is not yet delivered.I dont know whether it will actually delivered or not.

Order ref[protected] Gift Vouchers for Rs.500/- not received.



This is further to mail running below sent on 11th Nov 09. You have by way of mails & over phone confirming the GC for Rs.500/- will be sent to me. But till date I did not get the same. More than a month I am following up with Times of India which is suppose to be a reputed News paper. If your response to me by making me as a Book Club Member by way of false promises, I could not believe it. If you do not wish to send GC for Rs.500/- then communicate to me that you will not send. I will assume that I lost my money.

To convas me to become a member in Times Book Club by paying Rs.525/- on the assurance of sending a gift coupen for Rs.500/- On following with you provide me a GC No.[protected] on 10th Dec 09 for the order I made on 29th Sept 09 which turned to be a expiried one.

I have subscribed for 6 months. My cheques are already cleared and my subscription no. 1406334. My subscription starts from 01/01/2009. Till date I have not received my subscription coupons. Also there are some prob in vendors about change of business. Please arrange to send me my subscription copons by courier on my address on urgent basis.

I have paid an amout of Rs:350/ towards annual sub (+ free bag) to our local news paper dealer Mr. KANDAN, of AVADI on 27 JAN 2009 after assuring the free gift package.

The dealer is also charging an additional charge of Rs: 10/ per month towards delivery.

Till date i have not received the gift bag.

Dealer says that the free gift was over by DEC 2008 itself.

looks like this is a new method to con gullible customers...i too paid two cheques of 145 and 30 rs. plus rs 10 in cash for subscription in jan 2010 but ..no signs of newspaper...i've asked the agent to return my cheques... he has told me that he'll return it by 13.02.2010... i am not really optimistic about it but let's see... i am now more concerned about my cheques as these guys could forge them to withdraw huge amounts... being on safe side i am trying to relocate my funds from the account.

against my order through TOI SHOPPING i have recd a EUROTEL Cordless/corded tel at SV colony RKPURAM , SEC'BAD in Jan 2008.the cell s do not hold charge . i want them to be replaced being within warranty period in situ at your cost.

The problem with most of the buyers such as you is the faith you have in a respected entity such as Times of India. What you dont realize is that they import all their TOI shopping materials from China. This affects our Indian industries who make far superior products than what they offer. And after sales support from TOI is pathetic. I have two products that didnt last beyond first use and were never replaced by Times of India. They are a disgrace to our country. You would be better off buying a phone from Beetal which is guaranteed to work.

The Times Of India Goa Edition — Non-delivery of subscribed copy

Times Of India Subscription — Non delivery of daily by vendor

We have shifted our residence to Adambakkam and had paid yearly subscription to the agent of Times of India. But to our surprise we had not been receiving the daily for the last 2 months. I have already made a complaint to Times of India but there is no response from their end.

Times of India though the newspaper is good but the distribution network is not good. Promotional activities of annual subscription is not accessible to common man. Vendors cheat by taking extra money or doesn't provide the service saying TOI is not providing.

Easy access to this scheme should be made to common man.
