[Resolved]  Titan Eye Plus Spectacle Frame And Glasses — Faulty glasses quality

I am highly disappointed with the service provided at koramangala titan eye.
I have bought at least 2 pairs of specs form titan eye plus koramangala in last 2 years.

Firstly, there is no mark of crisal on the front of the glasses, which is the landmark of crisal lenses, which you should be able to see on condensation.

Secondly there was a crack / scratch on the glass, albeit minor, right when they dispatched the glasses which increased over time with usage. When i took it back for quality testing, they made the crack even bigger during the qc procedure and gave a certificate that its not a quality issue and that the galss buckled under pressure. This is totally unacceptable for specs over which i spent 4000 bucks. They are neither returning nor repairing the pair of glasses, nor they are willing to divulge me the name / number of their superior, whom i can talk. Can anybody help?
I want some action taken. People involved in dealing my case are sunil, harish and prasad.

thnks to all who posted their issues on titan eye plus. i was plannig to buy spects from titan eye plus store in vadodara, but after reading this blog i think i need to think on it again.
I had an equally bad experience with titan eye plus. I purchased quite a costly spectacle from Koramangala branch in Bangalore and within few days the screw of it cam of.. How will I treat this as ? They are not ready to repair the same saying they don't have the same screw and not even providing replacement. I have followed up with them on phone and personally n number of times but in vain.. Not a trustworthy brand at all.

Hi am highly disappointed by Titan eye plus. First they gave me glass after a week. I suffered for 2 day then I found that they made a glass of wrong number. I gave to changed it. they promished to give me by tuesday but they didn't give. I request many time to give it by that day because i have to go out of station but they are not ready to give me. Totally i suffered for 12 day for a spectacle. Still i am waiting for it.

I would suggest you not to go to Titan Eye Plus
Even i had an idea to go for Titan eye plus because they have a variety of designs to choose from. But from now onwards i am not going to think of going for titan eye plus products.

Well I purchased my titan eye glasses in the month of december 2010 from Kolkata-Lake Town Branch, after 3 months the coating of the frame starts peeling and when i went there they changed my frame within 7 days.

One more thing I want to Share is that the way they check your eye power is also very good. Before buying new glass i did my eye testing from Shankar Nethralaya, Kolkata where my power came -4 in both eyes, I was in doubt and went to Rotary where my power came -3.75 in one eye and -4.25 in another. There also i was quiet unsure but than went to Titan Eye plus. They insist me to go for complimentary free Eye checkup and the way they tested was very much satisfying.

I am very happy and satisfied with their service, the quality of the lenses and frames are very good.

I advice, if you love and want to save and protect your precious eyes buy lenses from the Branded shops only like Titan Eye Plus.

Even I share the same complaint like any of you. I have purchased a pair of glasses and was given some quality that got scratches in six months. I was having problems but didn't realized what was the actual problem. Went to them in Madhapur Hyderabad only to be refused outrightly. Recently I went to Appollo Hospital in Hyderabad to get my eyes checked. To my surprise I found that my previous power was right but the Titan fellow in order show new sale has increased my power and given specs with new power. Unfortunately I have made contact lenses based on this power and totally I am at a loss of Rs. 10000 or more. I am totally disappointed with them and want my money back. Also I suggest everybody not to buy anything from these buggers..

I completely agree with all the unsatisfied customer. I bought my frame and lenses from Lucknow, Alambagh branch on this September(2011).

Within two months the nut was out of way and my lens fell down and broken apart, they are saying that this in not under warranty. I told them this not the matter of money but the matter of reputation. How could a frame manufactured by such a big brand has such flaw. I bought only because of the name. WTH!!

Now I think my previous local vendors are much better than Titan Eye plus. I must say their charges are really hefty and even after that what the crap I got :( I'm feel very disappointing.

My all previous frames from local vendors have been running with a good life. I'll again go for my local vendors. Titan frames have looks only but they are out of durability. The 1 year warranty scheme is totally nonsense.

Even their lenses got scratches very quickly.

This was my first and last experience with this brand, TATA to them forever.

Titan eye plus. — not up to the mark

I have bought one pair of lens from titan eye plus but only after few days it was out of order. they didn't fulfill the criteria what they promise.
so i personally suggest that don't go for titan eye plus.
I got a very bad experience with TITAN EYE PLUS.

I booked a product from Titan Eye Plus, Kalyan West, Thane (Mumbai), with a delivery date after 10 days from date of booking. I requested to give me earlier, but they denied. I aid okay and wait for the delivery date. On the delivery date I got a call from their executive saying they'll take another 4-5 days at least. I requested do it early but they denied.

Then I questioned them, how they could tell me on the DELIVERY DATE about the delay in delivery. They should have intimated me at least a day prior to delivery date. But the customer representative was firm and arrogant. He never shown any apology even he made mistake. When I asked him about the manners then he replied with a statement that why should he say SORRY to the customer. If the product delivery takes time then he can not do anything ... He talked disrespectfully with me.

The product I shoped was of ammont more than 10000 Rupees, still he behaved like I purchased a product of costing 100 Rs. When I asked him that if I am not getting my product on the delivery date then he should REFUND my money, still he was arguing saying money will not be refunded and I need to wait for the delivery. Still I do not got the product nor any updates over it.

Please take some action on this. These people can not cheat to their innocent customers like this.

titaneye/eyeglasses — Non-repairment of eyewear

I have purchased an eyeglass of Fossil brand from Titan eye+ 3 months ago.2 days back the handle of the spectacle gets detached.I went to the shop for repairing the same but the reply from the other side was they dont do repairing.I asked them then what will i do now, there answer was go to some smaller shops.One of them even said " Do whatever you want, even police complain". Is this the way to talk to a customer.

I would request you to please shut down the shop and please help me in this matter. Several other people are harassed by the behaviour of titan eye+.

Tital Eye+ is having poor service. During an adjustment, technician scratched the paint of frame. During warranty replacement, they made me wait for 2 months approx, later they told that model is not available. Currently no collection; All good frames gone in session 25% off. Thay made me to visit another shop more than 2 Hrs of travel. Again they ordered a newly chosen frame and still it is under process of delivery.

I really do not know how to address my frustration the experience faced was very disappointing and unacceptable, i ordered my glasses a week before and after a long wait titan eye plus gave me the complete wrong frame which i never ordered and top of that when I denied to accept the frames presented to me i was treated rudely by the manager, I claimed for a refund or to only provide me the glasses instead of frames and the manger denied nor he was ready to exchange the frame i paid 4500.00 as advance. Which i never got refund nor the glasses or the frame.

Shocking thing was they already had this goon in the showroom who can fight on behalf of the manager and the staff. I never experienced anything like this which was shocking such a reputed showroom and they had the staff and the manager with sick attitude stating "you can do what ever you want"

At first to attract you they will tell all lies and then afterwards if you face any problem then they will simply ignore you.

People buy TITAN frame and lens thinking that if anything goes wrong then their customer support will help them as it a Reputed brand owned by TATA Groups. But for TITAN EYE PLUS story is completely different.

Whole TITAN Customer support is Fraud and Useless and the people sitting there just has to expertise 2 lines, first that your complained will be resolved in 24 hours and second a higher team is there(with whom you cannot contact) will take the decision without consenting with the buyer according to their comfort and if you don’t like their decision then simply they will re-escalate the issue on priority(which never happens) and again take decision without contacting you due to their arrogance.

In other words your problem will not be solved as the person who will be taking the decision will not hear your problem and you will keep on re-escalating the issue and there comes a point where you will be fed up and decide that you will never again buy TITAN products
I have purchased a frame from Titan EYE plus from HRBR layout Bangalore on Aug 3rd. I have sparingly used the glasses and one leg got broken.
When i took it to the showroom they are telling it as handling defect. Even though i have raised a complaint to the customer care i do not have a proper response. I have tried this brand for the first time and this is my experience .
Its been a month i have raised the complaint and there is no proper response from the showroom or from Titan.

Never trust titan eye plus. They don't have the basic knowledge . They are cheaters and their customer care is the very very worst in the world that I have ever witnessed.
Worst service and delicate glasses, why titan cheating people with unbranded frames, i gave my frame in Vijayawada due to problem but they gave back without reresolving it

I am highly disappointed with the service provided at Indranagar Titan eye plus showroom in Bangalore.

Firstly, my spectacle is not even six months old. My rimless frame is broken. And its under warranty. I have misplaced the bill. And had spoken to some executive over the call and that person adviced me that its fine with it and he will replace the frame if the details are found on his database and asked me to come along with the glasses.

When I went to the showroom regarding this, I had requested him to check the database and he told my name including my phone number and the date of purchase. Later, another person comes from the top and tells me without the original invoice bill, its not possible to replace it. He was actually rude in answering and I was really dissapointed with this. I requested him lots because I have spent alot of money on this. They are neither replacing nor repairing the pair of glasses.

Later, I had gone to some other showroom to get this fixed. So they told me that Titan offers 6 month warranty and I told them that I don't have the bill and they aren't replacing it. So that person told me that there's no need of the bill when your details are found on the database. So I was really taken back. When other showrooms are willing to help the customer on this, tell me why can't Titan do this? Its just the brand name and the employees are really lethargic to hear customer requests.

Can anybody help me on this?

I and my family are a regular customer of your unit. we bought number of spects of your brand and all are perfect. but in the year late 2013 I bought a costly Tommy Hilfiger frame and progressive anti reflection glass from your MANI SQUARE, KOLKATA outlet. but to my surprise the frame began to got rust and the glass started to leave shiny sparkle thin plastic materials. firslty i thought that it may be due to climate change reasons i rubbed it and started using it. but in vain the spects became non wearable. so i went to the outlet and after inspection they ensured me that i will contact me after talking to their head office personal. but till date no reply from their part. so i left with no alternative but to lodge a complain to you. please do something for my relief.
