I had licked a Ring at your Franchisee R.K.Swarn Pvt Ltd, Samad Road, Aligarh on 06.08.2023. Since its size was more than the ring available with you, you noted the order to ask for it and took an advance payment of 25, 000/- from me on the same day and also blocked/Froze the rate of gold for the same day. (refer order no 81 dated 06.08.2023) your concerned sales man told me that after some time this ring will be given to you as per your size. Estimated weight at the time of order was 6.860 grams and estimated cost was calculated as Rs.43, 906.88 and delivered me priority order & Credit Note. Your salesman told me that after a few days you will be given this ring, if its weight is more than estimated weight 6.860 grams you will have to pay more money and if its weight is less then you will have to pay less money. Got a call from your Tanishq showroom on 24.08.2023 and was asked to collect the ring. When I visited your Tanishq showroom in Aligarh on 25th September, 2023, Your Tanishq sales person told me that your ring weight is 6.514 grams, (which is 0.346 grams less than the estimated weight), but its price is more than the estimated price i.e. Rs. 45, 231.
It means I have to pay for the weight 6.514 grams, Rs. 45, 231. I was very surprised to hear that. It happens in the famous and trusted brand of TATA?
Customers can be cheated in this way. When I asked the basis for demanding more/extra money Rs.3, 539.00, no satisfactory answer was given, and a check no. 907958 dated 25.08.2023 of SBI of Rs.25, 000 was handed over to me. This behavior of your Tanishq (TATA Brand) is very disappointing to me. Please intervene in this matter and find a suitable solution immediately.
