[Resolved]  Tlc Marketing (www.Dicountpremiumclub.com) — Refund of membership paid

I refer to to the refund policy as indicated on your own website
(www.discountpremiumclub.in) which clearly states as to when and how the refund could be availed. I will therefore request you to refund the amount due to me in the spirit of the declaration made by your organization on your website (refer below).
All the reasons pointed out by me (as reasons for not accepting this membership) are valid reasons and for your benefit, I am restating them again.

I am in receipt of a letter giving my membership number and a brochure giving details of the offers associated with the membership. These documents were received by me on 14/6/08. I have gone through the brochure in detail and have reservations on some of the terms of availing the offers. For example:
> It was communicated to me that all offers were valid for 1 year from the date of membership, while actually the vouchers state that they are valid upto 1/10/08. Further based on the list of places/parlors/restaurant/bars where these vouchers will be redeemable – from the list provided to me it is evident that there are no branded names. Even the list of hotels provided does not include good hotels. I myself have never stayed in such hotels nor availed any services at such service providers.
> The vouchers provided do not have any denomination value. The level/quality of services to be provided against has been left at the will of parlors/fitness centre/restaurants. There appears to be no transparency in the service levels expected to be provided.
> The helpline number is constantly busy and it is not possible to get through the number.
> I have checked the reviews on your organization on the internet and they do not seem to be encouraging.
> I tried reaching out the phone numbers of your parent organization ‘TLC Marketing UK –which could not be reached out. Even mails written to them did not get answered.
> Keeping the above factors in mind –I have my doubts on the quality of services the organization will be able to provide.
> I have therefore decided to return the documents in the same condition as they have been received by me. Accordingly you are requested to send me a refund cheque (crossed) of Rs 5490/- {which was paid by me via my ICICI Bank Credit Card via debit on 4 June 2008} at my postal address given below at the earliest (as committed in your refund policy):

Discount Premium Club — Not refunding Rs 5499/- due to me as per terms of refund poicy on their website

I took the memebership No. 301586 in December 2007 valid from 15th dec 2007 to 15th Nov 2008. My repeated attempts to get the booking and refund of memebership fee of Rs.5490 failed. Now the customer service number is found to be switched off. Till now I haven't utilised any of the offers associated with the membership. Now I want to return the kit and refund of the memebership fee immediately.
My memebership is going to be expired on 15th nov.08 and I was promised by mail and over telephone by your executives that within one week of receipt completed request form the booking will be confirmed. Now even after one month after sending the form I havene't received any information other than one mail and a telephone call. All my reminders failed to get any attention from TLC and as usual the customer care number is always un attended. Now I lost all hope and want the refund before the expiry date ie. 15th Nov 08.

Dear Sir,
I have gone through the comments made by some persons and I fully agree with their views and concerns. Same thing happened to me also. Without my consent Rs.5490 has been debited through my ICICI credit card. One day, I received membership letter from Discount Premium Club telling me to avail free holidays before membership expires on 8th Feb-09. With all good faith, I sent the booking request form duly filled in and posted on 16-09-08 to Post Box no 9207, Delhi-110092, as given in the membership letter, but did not get any response for long time. Then I tried to contact the Noida no.[protected]. No one attends the phone - after trying 100 times, you may succeed once. But I was fortunate to speak to someone (Ms Sofia) at least three times and requested her for my booking confirmation. But everytime I get a reply of non-availability, but with the assurance that she will call me back - which never happened. Out of frustation, I have emailed at least 4 times to email id given : [protected]@discountpremiumclub.in, but nobody cared to reply. Now I am in serious doubt about this silence, ill intention and not attending phone calls or replying to emails.
Request you to advise how I get the amount refunded.
I am a senoir citizen and I shall be oblised if I get the money back.

my name is anil we purchage two membership no 020117 anil kumar jain and second in the name of Sunil Chopra.We have called and mail you so many times for getting one night complimentary stay service in Hotel Le meridian which has to be provided as per membership and our telephonic conv withPayal/ Pushkar / Kiran / Priya / Manoj / Semon and he confirm it so many times different-different dates but all the time your executives passes down and postponing the dates and refused the booking at the time of confirming final dates.so, we hv cancil my membership and return the kit . i had receive mail from discount premier club that my amount are refund through courier but till date i have not receive any amount i have contect your contumer care but the are not pick the phone please tell me what i doReg our membership no of your Discount premium club.
