[Resolved]  Toshiba Laptop — high level complaint

I bought a new toshiba laptop. its under warranty. some pixel ofthe screen(damaged), keyboard(keys not working), and battery(backup) cd drive are not
properly.i went to service station, i was shocked that instead of fixing the problem i was told that only battery will be replaced and screen will not be replaced as it 's not fully damaged, and key board they say only few keys are not functioning so they will not replace it instead they offered me to buy a 2yrs extended warrantyfor 6500/- rupees .This is an example of worst cst service i have ever experienced, i was also told that i can do what ever i feel like they r not going to change the damaged parts leaving no optionfor me either than going to consumer forum.i collected money for whole 2 yrs to buy this laptop and now wth this kind of attitude from a big company like toshiba and their cst ser is provided by HCL-----all i can say is i am hurt and planning to move to court----lets hope for the best

toshiba / portege laptop — extension of warranty

i registered for toshiba freedom offer which a warranty extension offer and paid its fee in January this year. i was suppose to get the extended warranty in three weeks. but i did not received it yet. i contacted there customer care but got no resulted. i have mails of the communication which i had with there representative. i also have the receipt

Toshiba — tft problem

scrolling or red light arises when u are working in computer
actually my tft already once has been repaired, once again shows some problemso kindly check this problem carefully for better performance.
I m Gourav working with Havell's India ltd as a Manager.

I'll speak one thing don't buy Toshiba this is 3rd Class Laptop.I m going to Consumer court against Toshiba.

Toshiba — Laptop or Notebook is not working properly

I had taken a Toshiba laptop 6 months back (with 1 Year of warranty) but it is not working properly just after 2 months. I got it repaired through the service center but the problem again appeared. It means they had given me the defective piece.

I was telling them to either repair it again and extend the warranty for next 1 year so that if any defect will come, then I should be in a position to tell them for repair or replacement. But they didn't get agree.

Please send me the procedure to file the case. I have also the email proofs.
My name is Stefanos Michael Sofroniou and I have a serious issue with my wireless. Before I re-install Windows on my laptop (Satellite Pro A200-EZ2204X, iwl3945 wlan chipset) I had Fedora 10 installed as my only operating system. I was able to see that everything was working OK expect the wireless.



After many attempts to install it, I decided to test Windows just for wireless; if my attempt was again a failure I would return it back to my reseller.



The error message I get from windows is this: "Wireless communication is disabled. Please turn on the Wireless communication switch."



I had tried applications like ConfigFree, as well Microsoft's Wireless Network Connection. When I press fn-F8 it does absolutely nothing!
i dont know wat to do.
I live in saharanpur(U.P.) in India and there is no service centre. I have toshiba laptop Satellite A100. my laptop battery has discharged rapidly. so i want to replace my laptop battery and i have searched toshiba service centre and contact no. on toshiba site www.toshiba-india.com but i found nothing on that site. and i become fedup... so please tell me... if anybody know about service centre in india

AFTER UPDATE THE BIOS MY COMPUTER STOP TO WORK AT ALL, AND THEY SAID THAT I HAVE TO SEND MY COMPUTER TO REPAIR CENTER .I BOUGHT MY COMPUTER AT BESTBUY STORE IN FORT LAUDERDALE, I'M NOW AT ARGENTINA, I SENT TO REPAIR CENTER TOSHIBA AT ARGENTINA STORE THAT TOSHIBA TOLD ME TO DO SO.! We all have common thing harassed by Toshiba India Laptop let me tell you my story I bought Toshiba laptop by 23 Dec, 2011 then dealer of Toshiba Computronix Gomti Nagar did not tell me he is giving me laptop with dos setup and loaded pirated window then after a use of few hour my window got corrupted then I went to dealer again down loaded window and said to install some antivirus then I installed again after the use of few hours windows got corrupted when I went to dealer ship, he told me he would take Rs. 300/- for downloading windows, then I contacted Toshiba book complaint they refer to Lucknow Service centre when I went there lady open my system that was working even the Toshiba was on screen when I submitted my laptop at service centre and came back to my office I receive call from them your bio is protected and provide bio password but I never bio protected even I don’t know how to protect I told them then I went to dealer ship they said they have not made bio protected and they don’t know password now I have forwarded at least four to five mails to customer care of Toshiba no reply is there and when I called up service centre no body entertain now you suggest me what to do.
Should I file case against Toshiba for cheating, mantel harassment and loose of money and time of me?
I am a social worker working for poor woman’s, child and youth.

Toshiba — i can't access internet

I had lost Toshiba Satellite L655 notebook's software disc.After reinstalling the OS i can't use internet.The network controller software is missing.I installed the softwares which got from some websites.But they all r not usefull to me.Please suggest me a website where the orginal toshiba's software can download....
i brought a new toshiba satellite lap from dubai, vn i brought they said i ll be getting international warranty, two months back my camera as well as harddisk got damaged vn i called the customer service they told to get to service centre n that i ll be getting full warranty but vn i vnt to the service centre wt they told me is this hardware problem for toshiba is very common and that i wont get the warranty, vn i called the customer service for case number wt they told is they dont have any information, then i had to pay n buy the new harddisk, my advice to u guys is plz dnt go for toshiba its service in india is utter bad
hi purchased my laptop satellite c-640 from aligarh and when i installed xp in it and installed audio driver bt it dint recognise so i use win7 in it plz help me bcoz i want to use win xp in it and it work well from win7
I am the sufferer at the hands of Toshiba India. Any body wants the details, I can provide. The fact of the matter is that any person willing to buy a laptop
must ponder 100 times before buying Toshiba laptop. Poor quality, worst workmanship and above all the unprofessional, unethical, arrogant and boorish attitude of Service department.

Toshiba has the worst Feedback procedure. I never faced any problem, when i purchased a HP or a lenovo laptop...
But this time when I took a Toshiba Laptop, I realized why people dont want to buy a toshiba laptop...
After complaining for 2 weeks, a toshiba representative, MR. SUBHO comes to check the laptop...
Even after having a warranty, am said i will be charged for the back cover which is broken...
Even after saying that am ready to pay for it, MR. SUBHO says he will inform me the "estimate" ...
He doesnt call u for a week...so i give him a call because i know Its a TOSHIBA laptop and what is the condition of Toshiba's Service...
He gives me a No. of the Regional Head of toshiba, MR. KARTHIK...i gave him a call...he takes my complain n said he will call me back...Its been a week and i have not heard from him...

So, that means I must assume that my laptop wont get any service and assistance from TOSHIBA???
And I must tell my friends and family members not to purchase any TOSHIBA products because of its poor service...

And i must tell you people does not expect such poor service at least from TOSHIBA...

Toshiba is the only company who doesn't provide warranty even if you have a warranty, full of jokers they have in their customer service.

Speak big big words but don't know how to deal with customer.

I had lodged this complain to Toshiba customer care in June. 15 days no information from the customer care. after 15 days when i called them they told me that you will get a new TV. After 1 week i called them they told me we have initiated a refund for the case. Manpreet is a person who deals with all the refunds he told me call on Tuesday i.e 10th of April but he is not receiving my call. Got a call from charu jaiswal she told me to give the confirmation on Tuesday. She is also not receiving my call. And i had mailed customer care for 20 times. Charu is not responding on the same mail.

Please suggest me what should I do.
