[Resolved]  Traffic Police — Suggestion

Sir,

Suggestion:I suggest you to start sending fines/challans to those vehicles that emit a lot of smoke and there by causing air pollution

Personal Experience: I have memorized the registration numbers of those vehicles that emit smoke and i tried to complain to the R.T.O but i didn't get any response as they wanted photo proofs and how can i stop in the middle of the road and take pictures? Today I spoke to a traffic constable about the air pollution and he suggested me to complain to the Commissioner of police Mr.A.K.Khan or Assistant Commissioner of police Mr.C.V.Anand


Advantages of sending fines/challans:

1.More money for the Government as there at least
50% vehicles that emit CO2 more than the
permissible levels

2.Traffic police are the most affected by the
pollution emitted.Diseases include asthma,lung and
heart diseases,dry or red eyes etc

Implementation:

As the traffic police already has cameras in their hands to capture those who commit offences like wrong parking,signal jumping,I request them to take pictures of smoke emitting vehicles and send challans or ask for the pollution certificate and fine them if they exceed the permissible levels


Vehicles that emit the most smoke:

1.Most of the RTC buses
2.Lorries/Trucks
3.Auto Rickshaws
4.Private vehicles


Please make Hyderabad a greener city and help the people from getting sick due to air pollution and i hope that my suggestion will be implemented.
