Friday[protected] myself and my frnd was driving 2 wheeler from Koyambedu to anna nagar( Chennai) We were drunk and drive. My frnd was driving the vehicle. We got into the traffic police. He used some harsh words to me ( Guys keep it in mind i didnt drive my bike ) he fined for 2000 rs he gave the charge slip and everything. He asked me that i[censored] r software eng we wont give respect n all rubish words. they took us to police station. I said that i wil complain to consumer court......even we have human rights. They said that we wont consider consumer courst or anything else. We are the king here. They cant able to do anything against us. Then they case a file against me for 75 case. i have been charged for 1500rs.

Is thr any possible way to file a case againt that traffic police. I didnt do any mistake. Plz reply anyone.

On 7th-April 2010 I parked my vehicle opp to Care Hospital Banjara Hills,and Traffic police (punjagutta) came and took my vehicle without informing me. They damaged my vehicle indicator (because of that I reached my office late by 2 hours) and took Rs 200/- from me and told the act of 41 (i) CP act and 122/172 act. They should not take vehicle without informing me.

My vehicle registration number is AP29L9457.

Please take appropriate action.

today i was coming back after completing my work & at 4.30 pm a constable stopped me in 18 th cross junction ayyappa temple & constable stopped me for jumping signal & the signal was green when i took right & wen told him that its green he took asked me to show my license & told i ll not return until u don't pay fine off 200 i asked y 200 he told defective no board wen told i did not jump signal to the senior he took a receipt n told walk & go to M.G road n check & come i[censored] have jumped signal then take your bike

I WANT TO KNOW ARE THESE PEOPLE HERE TO HELP US OR TO TAKE ONLY MONEY FOR NO REASON ANYONE THERE TO HELP ME

I'm writing here not for sake of putting as complaint against Traffic Police or police department, because I know there is no solution to this problems.

Yesterday evening I was on way back to home from office at night, i had 2 glass of bear with friends at around 7 PM and after that spend good time with them talking , had food and by the time i was about to drive , i was normal and started drive back home at 10 PM. i reached at yeshwantpur circle , i saw some 4-5 traffic police men were stopping vehicles and booking them. I was driving ok...suddenly at turn one police men gave me had to stop vehicle and he board back on my bike and told me to drive, i thought he might be following some one..but hardly driving around 100m , he said to stop and got down and asked me..are u drink ..i said yes ..but had bear at 7 PM and I'm perfectly ok. He said to come down of bike, taken the bike keys and said i'll book u under drink and drive , come pay fine of Rs 3000/-
he said he will book the bike, go to magistrate after 2 days and have to pay fine...believe me i didnt wanted to happen all these.

i pleaded him to leave me for this time, but he didnt gave any ear to this, then he says u have to give Rs.1000/- the u can go....and in my pocket all i had only Rs 500/- which i took out from ATM to do vegetable shopping on saturday...i kept on pleading him till 20 mins...but he was not listening.

That police man was quite young around age of 23-25....the worst part of all these were, during all my pleading i was humiliated by him by so many way...he raised hand on me twice, uttered some abusive word in kannada, and as i was requesting him in hindi,, he said " You north Indian..this is bangalore not your Bihar, but actually I'm from chattisgarh.

at last I had to pay him Rs 400/- and then he gave me back the keys and instructed me..if any other police men tries to stop you , dont stop.

I know many of you would have been through this situation, but let me tell you the dark side of it..which no one knows ....

I lost my Job last year jan 09, since then I didnt got any job.for 10 month, last month managed to get a job with salary of Rs 10000/-..and today in my back account i have now only Rs 2000/- after paying rent of 6000 and other expense. Before 2009 ..i was working well , enjoying CTC of around 9 lakhs and paid all the Taxes to government on time , never complaint.

Now When i was with no job, my Dirty government didn't do anything , no one cared to see my family ...and on the above of alll these So called Police men and Traffic inspector juice up .

Today , I'm so much frightened in my own country to drive or enjoy safe drive after 10 PM at night, not because of any rowdy ..its just Indian Police and Traffic Police, because they stop you , harass you , insult you , abuse you and in your own country create regionalism and also take our hard earned money.

Well, there is really no solution to this problem, i know i cant get any justice to all the harassment, insult, abuse , but yes I can definitely get my money back from these group of people.

Today I take oath on my own, I will not spare any student,worker whose parents work with Police/Traffic police department. If these people take money in the shadow of Law and order. I'll up frontly charge them with bill huge money for any service they avail from me, product buy from me, tuition fee pay for education at school or college, harass them mentally at work.

I'll definatelly get my money back in next few days, because I'm in to job consultation service and will shortly drive exclusive recruitment program for wards of Police men....lets see who Loots whom....

i had made my vehical parked in okhla with my driver in side in front of the office and one so called TI came and ordered my driver to drive after him and took my driver to nehru place police station traffic pit and declared LAWARIS and booked under some dp act,and when i tried to talk to him on phone ,he just shouted on me ,i was very much disappointed with his behavier and that also of traffic police SHAME SHAME

SIR, IN KRISHNA NAGAR DELHI 51, EAST DELHI , ON HANSRAJ SMARAK SCHOOL ROAD, THERE ARE TWO PRIVATE NURSING HOMES AND BOTH OF THEM HAD AQUIRED STREET SPACE OF GOVT FOR THEIR PERSONNEL STAFF PARKING WHICH HAD CAUSED HUGE PROBLEM IN TRAFFIC ROTATING IN YTHE RESIDENTIAL AREA. AS THEY PARK THEIR STAFF CARS AND MOTOR BIKES ON THE MIDDLE OF ROAD AND NONE OF TRAFFIC CHALAN VANS DO THEIR DUTY, I THEREFORE REQUEST YOU TO MAKE SUCH ARRANGEMENTS THAT THE VICHELS PARKED ON ROADS SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE BASEMENT OF SUCH NURSING HOMES,1 GANESH ORTHO CENTER , RUN BY MR BHARGAWA AND THE OTHER IS MEHRA NURSING HOME,

Yesterday(25th Aug 09), i gave my original driving license to a traffic police who was on duty near esabell hospital, mylapore.He asked for a fine of Rs50 for not wearing helmet. As i was not carrying the amount with me i gave my original DL to him and said that i will go and take the amount from the nearest ATM and come. By the time i came back he was not there in that place. i dont know how to get back my license. My DL no is TN/072/010886/2004. My contact number is [protected]. My name is Shanmuga Sundaram of age 32. I work in a Private Company. I had a personal problem and I don’t know how to come out of it and I request your kind selves to help me.

Last Saturday Night[protected] one of the Traffic Police had caught me near a Local wine shop when I came out of the shop for Drink & Drive. I had been taken to hospital and I accepted that I had drunk.

The Police constable had registered a case and asked me to sign the papers and I did but he hasn’t given me any copy of the case. He also said to leave the bike and asked me to come the next day morning and collect the bike by submitting the Original RC and Original License. The next day I did the same and collected my bike. The only request I made with him was since this is the first time I had drunk and requested him to file a case but not to cancel my license since I was unaware of this law.

After this for the past 4 days I had been contacting the police man to get my Original RC and Original License and whenever I contacted him he asks me to come here at this time and come here at that time and I work in a private company so I had been asking permissions to my higher officials and had been running here and there wherever he asks to come. But when ever I go there he is not there and when I contact him over phone he again asks me to come in the next day morning.

Already 4 days had been passed but till now he haven’t contacted me to come to court.

To be truthful I understood that I had made a mistake and repent for it but for what cause he does like this I don’t know. All these 4 to 5 days I had been suffering from mental ill and physical ill because of him.

I kindly request your kind selves to let me know whether there are any possibilities of getting back my document. I work in a Private company and I don’t have any higher background. I sincerely request your kind selves to help me by some means.

I want to make a complaint regarding the traffic lights timing adjustment at Marathahalli junction, Bangalore. The traffic coming from Kundalahalli signal gets only 30 seconds green signal at Marathahalli junction whereas the traffic coming from HAL gets 60 seconds green signal at Marathahalli junction. As a result of this misbalance of timings of green signal, there is a big line of traffic upto the end of Marathahalli Bridge at Marathahalli junction, of traffic coming from Kundalahalli signal and almost zero traffic, of traffic coming from HAL at Marathahalli junction. This is the consequence of the alterations done with the traffic lights few days back and no one is caring about it. So, I request you to please look into the matter and make the traffic flow Ok.

On the way to office took a small wrong turn towards right on holkar bridge and to my surprise a Police came and started using all bad and filthy words against me and all you mistakenly took this wrong turn he even raised his hand on couple of occassions. He stared beating a young guy who was with his sister on a bike. This Police man seemed to be a mentally imbalanced person who was screaming bad and vulger words on people throughout and...

My licence was ceased by the traffic constable in Ghatkopar East, on 60 feet Road, without justifying reason stating that it was charge under double parking.But I was sitting at the driver seat with valid licence.
Constable just came and asked for licence and then made a a receipt regarding it and told me to collect my licence from the police office. But when driver is sitting in the car then he should be told to move ahead but they dont have right to cease the licence.
Please notify the same. and do the needful.

Hope this incident happened to me help people to understand how Bangalore Traffic police is acting and eating big amount of money from people (ie Outsider) who are coming to Bangalore for Jobs.
My name is Rahul working as Software Eng for a MNC. On the day 27 January 2009 time between 1:30 to 2:30 pm. I was passing through 80ft Ring road, Signal/Crossing Near Wipro Park, Koramangala 1st block. Four Traffic policeman (One was Inspector and other three Hawaldar and sub inspector) were stopping especially the bikers not car persons. And they were asking one or other documents, If any of the document is missing they asked for huge Fine. They stopped me also they ask for some document two of the document and money I missed at my office in bag. They took my mobile and ask me to get some money first then you will get your mobile back then I went home and brought Rs. 500/- . One the police man suddenly took that money and not given me legal receipt and they took all money Rs. 500/- in their pocket. I defended and ask to give receipt than they started threaten me to drown to court and police station.
What I can do.. Helpless … they took simply Rs. 500/- not for fine but for their own pocket. since they were ask for Rs.2000/- and I bargained to Rs. 500/- in the name of fine without any receipt.
Can any Karnataka government body do anything for those corrupted policeman. Is this a Bangalore Silicon valley of India. So Shame on those types of policeman.

i was driving my zen car at ulsoor near Police station. I just stopped for about 15 seconds to check out the route to goto MG Road.
Meanwhile, a traffic SI who was on duty on 19/05/2008 at 7 pm told me to get out off the road and abused me by using "Loafer nanna makkalu, car itgondre dodda gaandugalu". When my mom got down and asked him why he was so rude and why he used slang language, he replied "Bewarsi mundegalu, muchkondu hogthayiru illa andre case haakthini" .
Bcoz of asking him, he booked cases such as Signal jump, No Parking, Mobile Phone driving, manhandling, thus amounting to Rs 800/-.
He also tried to manhandle with us and desperately i had to pay fearing of court case. We are all citizens and have equal rights with power, i dont understand why police use such bad words against commuters even though we are innocent. Its high time, that officals are taught manners to behave with people.

As a citizen of this corrupt india i want to put an incident which happened in front of my eyes to the notice of all the members of this forum. The traffic police of gurgaon is not only corrupt but they are encouraging other people who are using the road as a medium of transport to kill others as they harass as well as damage the private propoerties of others. One such constable who opens his mouth with words can easily harass people after stopping them asking for there papers. He was proud to be from a caste of gujjar/jat as he was saying in his conversation with a fellow passer by. He said this is haryana and no one from delhi can easily pass this road without paying money to them. Moreover he was yelling at and slapping the person who stopped after he asked him to. Just wanted to confirm what kind of people are appointed in police who are caste bound/kill other people for money... What does government of india do for stopping such people. Why indian middle class people should pay taxes... For getting killed by such people. Is there a way out...
