[Resolved] Tri City Cabs — Misbehaviour by the cab driver and the call centre rep | |||
I made a booking from sec 34 CHD to IT park on 27-Apr-11, I requested them to give me a call or missed call once the cab reached since it was late and It was not safe to wait outside due to safety reasons. The cab came at 8:00 PM, 20 minutes late than promised. I myself called up the cab service- TRICITY again and asked them about the whereabouts of cab since I had not received a call from them about the cab reaching the venue, they told me that the cab has entered 34 sec and I should come downstairs since I was at the fourth floor of the building. I went down and could not see the driver anywhere, the cab was locked. There were many guys standing in the vicinity, it being a student centric area. Then in half a minute the driver came. He dropped me to IT park, and handed over a bill of 230 rs, I asked him what was it since the meter read 180 rs to which he replied 30 rs of waiting have been added. I asked him when did the cab wait and if it did why didn't I get a call? I also asked him that 180+30 would mean 210 not 230 so why 230? He started arguing and swearing at me. I called up the call center to complain against him and the representative was so casual he didn't even listen to me, simply said i m sorry, i will talk to the driver and laughed it off. Such is the casual behaviour of the reps as well. These guys have at times made me wait for 45 minutes after promising the cab in 15 minutes time however why do we not get a wait- on discount then. And as a matter of fact I never made them wait, I myself was waiting for the cab, since it wasn't safe standing outside at night i waited for their promised call back which never came.
