Uninor — Getting duped by uninor

Iam kranthi kumar and I have a uninor connection. On 25th of october I suddenly got a message saying that my request for the activaion of 'My Friend' service has been received and the next second I got a confirmation stating that the request has been accepted and an amount of Rs30 was deducted from my account. This all happened without me opting for it. I didnt even understand what was going on. so, the next day i.e., on 26th of october I cotacted the customer care department and put forth the issue. The executive directed me to dial 777 and then select the option 1 which deals with complaints about activation of services without the action of customer and then select to deactivate it and he said the amount would credited back to my balance. I did the same and then again I called up customer support to know when will the amount be credited back to my account...this time the executive was not the previous one who didnt even cared to reveal her name....I had putfoth my query and in reply she said no balance would be credited to your account because the service got activated after receiving a request from your mobile. I tried to explain to her that I didnt opt for it but she was adamant enough to not to listen to my version and disconnected the call. I could gauge from this that its futile to contact the customer care again. Again on 27th of october at 10pm i recieved a message stating "thanks for downloading true tone:ringtone. you have been charged Rs.10. I didnt download anything then how can I be fleeced of Rs 10. or for that matter single paise. On the face of it the amount of Rs40 might seem peanuts but the point is why should I be charged for things which I havent opted for. Even the customer serivce executives are so abusively stubborn that it reminds me that uninor believes in the saying "MIGHT IS ALWAYS RIGHT". Iam not sure of the follow up of this complaint but my intention is to awaken the people to not to opt for uninor and save yourself from ending up in a feeling of being cheated and not heard either.
