sir, recently my sister bought a uninor card and activated it the activation call guy first activated the card and later started asking her personal details as to age, which college, which year n all and called numerous times even when she said the card is activated the number calling is [protected], i hope the company is aware of the rules and regulations of not getting in too personally with any customer plzz help me under consumer protection act against the company regards, ankit ghorpade [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||

Why should the uninor servent asking personal details college, address..

Personal — Card Activation
Although I hate to call banks (listening to machines instead of human) I have no choice because its a credit card activation. As a primary card holder I wanted to activate the supplimentory card which I have applied for my son who is studying in the US. I have shipped the card to him as soon as i got the card and wanted to activate the card now/this morning (after recieving it at the other end, naturally). In spite of giving all required details your didnt activate it just because I dont have the expiry date of the card with me. I understand certain stange policies that we all follow nowadays but what I dont understand is that why cant you simply activate the card without expiry date? if its a must you have all details with you about the card holders and the card itself so get the details within. Its reduculous asking me to ask my son to call the bank. I am the primary card holder so Its my decesion to activate or not. I have been using a Titanium RAK bank card for years and I am very happy with the bank and you staf[censored]ntil now.
