Avinash !!!,UNITECH LTD. (FDR NO.B 053902). This is ridiculuous. My fixed deposit receipt duly discharged was received by you'll on 22nd July, 2011. You had told me normally it takes 21 days, you will try and get it done earlier, but now 28 days are over, still no sight of our fixed deposit maturity cheque. Last week when we called up, we were given the POD No. Only for the interest cheque, even that has not been received by us. Now we are going to Consumer Forum and also Unfair Trade Practices Forum. We know lot of people over there. We will do the needful. We are also going to claim for the interest for the delayed period. We understand how bad your management pratices are. Unitech has been in the market for a long, long time and is there to stay. Do you think a company, which is the second largest real estate developer in India, will flee the market just like that. Its true that Unitech is facing some crisis due to a plunge in Indian stock market, especially in the realty sector, but I am sure that they would not abandon their investors and customers like that. My Fixed deposit with Unitech got mature on June 2011 and I got the principle amount back a few days ago. I am sure your payment is also on line and you will receive it shortly. Just be patient and have faith in the company you have invested in.
