[Resolved] Univercell / Mobile Phone — IRRESPONSIBLE - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE | |
I had bought a mobile from Univercell mobile showroom, IMEI no.[protected] on 18th May 2008. However there was a software problem within a week of purchase. Pl look into the issue... Are fake mobiles being sold to customers? I had given it in the showroom for service and they told me to collect the mobile the next day but when i went to collect they said that its being sent to the head office and will take 15 days to get back. This is ridiculous. How can this happen within a week of purchase. Also, the guys in the showroom (ANNANAGAR, CHENNAI) are so rude, not bothered about the customer, only need sales nos. and dont know how to respond or react to customers. They are literally DUMB. I need an immediate solution. I dont want the mobile which has so many problems. I doubt if you are actually selling real genuine SONY ERICSSON handsets. I need a replacement immediately. NO EXCUSES ON THIS. I SHALL ESCALATE THE ISSUE FURTHER AND SUE THE COMPANY FOR THIS IF I DONT GET A REPLACEMENT. So many advertisements are not going to help the company grow. Dear Sirs,
I have Purchased a NOKIA C2-00 From your Univercell Show Room in Kumbakonam & the Invoice No is P/KUM-3110 dated 24/10/2011.
Now my Phone Display is Not working. When we asked the Support from your Univercell Staff, they are Treating us so badly & simply they are saying go to hell. if you want to repair your Mobile go to Nokia care or give it some where else. we don't care.
After given the Mobile in your Showroom on 02.05.12 (Service Request Number - 5190) now they are Claiming an Amount of RS 350/ It's too high & it is to be Repaired under Warranty only.
Regarding the same Matter, when we Enquired in Poorvika they are saying it can be done in Warranty only. we are really surprised why your Staff's are Charging the Amount of Rs 350/.
If this is going to continue with other Customers It will definitely going to spoil your reputation in the Market.
Kindly look in to this matter, as this is very urgent.

In spite of Sending so many Mails, you all doesn't have the Courtesy to call back us. It is absolutely ridiculous behavior from your side.
From this, we will never step in to any Univercell Mobile Shop & we will recommend our Friends also not to buy any Mobiles from Univercell.

I recently (06 Nov 2012) purchased 2 mobile phones (HTC Desire X and Samsumg chat), both accounting for RS 25000/-, from Univercell, Arekere, bannerghatta road, Bangalore outlet. At the time purchase the sales man promised me complimentary mobile case and screen protector. However, they did not have stock of HTC Screen protector. They ask me to visit the store on next day. But when I visited they told me the excuse that they exhausted the new stock. After that based on their direction I visited the store at least 4 times now for the same. Till now I have not received the screen protector. They did not even have a courtesy to call me and talk. With the fuel spent by me to visit their store I could have bought at least 5 such screen protector. I request UNIVERCELL to take immediate necessary action against this outlet. If I did not receive a proper communication from UNIVER CELL management by 14 Nov 2012, I am planning to register a case against UNIVERCELL in the consumer court. The legal discussions are in progress.
