[Resolved]  V-Guard — Deficiency in service/marketing

I have purchased v-guard geyser (15 Lt) under exchange scheme in the month of Nov.2009.

I placed order through news paper advertisement and the geyser was installed on through Pancham electricals, Rajouri Garden, Delhi.

At the time of installation I WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH THE BILL, STATING THAT I WILL RECEIVE IT DIRECTLY THROUGH COURIER FROM THE COMPANY/THROUGH THE DEALER.

REGRET, that I have not yet received the bill for my purchase. I have contacted your gurgaon office (Mr. Sudama/Ms. Jinka) on various occasions but have been receiving false commitments.

I have also contacted your dealer and salesoperson in Delhi, who are again of no support.

In view of the above, I have put complaint on this site & hope that they take some action on the complaint

My vguard giser is not working properly do something for it.
it is not giving hot water
purchased v-gaurd water heater 2008 march.now till date three complints i faced and every time service man coming and repairing but that service engineer keep generate one more problem to my water heater.because every time new service man coming.noe total heater is leaking within 3 years, when conducted they tell it will cost 900 rs.even if your product is not able to work for atleast 3 years why you are selling such a inferior and worst product to market, and giving add in the media that your product is superiior one.
I purchased v-gaurd ups slender 600 2010 may.now till date three complints .even if your product is not able to work for atleast 1 years why you are selling such a inferior and worst product to market, and giving add in the media that your product is superiior one.

I purchased V Guard stabilizer for 1.5 T a.c on[protected].It is not giving output when voltage is normal. When I approached service center, they said, voltage is very high at your apartment.But, all the other company stabilizers in our apartment are working properly.
The worst water heater. Salesman forced me to purchase it saying it is the best and it will never leak unlike Bajaj and several other brands he mentioned.I agree that I was fooled by the salesman. Leaking immediately on fixing from the side port of inlet and spent two days calling and arguing for replacement. They advertise in media as the best and the sales persons are also bribed to mislead the customers to buy it it seems.
I purchased V Guard stabilizer for VGMW500 on date 08-Jun-2013 from Gurgaon (Haryana) not giving output when voltage is normal output voltage is very high yesterday on date 13-May-2014 .
Product is loss.
1. Tube Ligh (Havells) 2 Nos.
2. Fan (Usha) 1 Nos.
3. Inverter (Microtel) 1nos.


An Urgent action will be much appreciated.

i purchased v-guard stabilizer in[protected] may .now the till data two complints it is not properly working only 5 (five) voltage. bush tap, only one hr. used your product poor quality. i am not satisfied your product.

No service provided and complain closed without customer consent.
Earlier complain was registered for water leak and green light indication not available.
service done by Mr. Ibrahim was simply cheating. he charged 350 for service, rs. 100 for gasket change and Rs. 150 for thermostat.
Neither the water leak was arrested nor the green light was rectified which he promised to change on next visit as he didn't have spare.
I don't know what kind of service people they are using who venture for attending complaints without any spare and cheat customers.
I am not sure if my earlier thermostat was faulty or not. the service man changed it for unknown reason and did not bother to check if it is really functioning.
on receiving the feedback call from v guard customer care, the same was communicated. but it seems there is hardly anyone there at V guard who cares about customer complains.
finally the geyser blasted causing burn injuries few days back.
V guard should explain why I should not complain about it to consumer forum.
I have purchased v-guard stabilizer in[protected] it has 3years warrant. At the time of purchase dealer told it has door service so if any problem service engineer will visit and resolved the issue at my place. The stabilizer is not giving output so I call the call center and report the complain. The cal center people told e service engineer will call back me with in 48 hrs. After 2hrs of my complain some lady call back me and asking me to bring the stabilizer to the service center which is aprox 20km from my home. At the time of sales they told me it is best stabilizer and it has door service for any problem. Its not completed 1yr also and having issue with out put. This you people call as best product.

Please send some engineer to my place resolved the issue as soon as possible.

I purchased V Gaurd mini crystal stabiliser (sr.no.274849) last year on 25/02/2013. My complaint id is[protected]. 15 days before the output was not there in the stabiliser. So complaint on toll free no. about the same but it is found that they are working simply like call centre . They have given me complaint id and told me to contact another no. for providing service. Then when I contact to second person, they told to keep my stabiliser to the shop from where I purchased. I kept my stabiliser to shop on 15/12/2014 but still it is repaired and the answers are, yes your stabiliser is under observation( like patient admitted in hospital). If input is there and there is no output means there is a problem in change over switch or in a transformer but till it is not repaired. The service is totally absent.
Such a reputed company has such inefficient service centres? Very bad.
I have purchased V-Guard stabilizer VEW400DIGITAL last year 28 August 2014 ... its still in warranty its getting off again n again...Every time service engineer comes and repaired but the problem will return after few days...But, all the other company and same v-guard stabilizers in our apartment are working properly.Plz replace ur product... kindly do something as we are facing this problem from last few month's...

Sub: Poor, sub-standard product quality and even poorer After-sales-service by M/S V-Guard, Kochi

1. Inspired by the brand name, I purchased one 5KVA Electonic Voltage Stabilizer model VGMW-500 vide receipt no 588 on 18.10.15 from M/s Bhavna Electricals, Ghaziabad(U.P.), an authorized distributor of M/S V-Guard products.

2. While installing the Stabilizer, the shop electrician asked to replace 20 Amp capacity MCB of DB by 40 Amp one at additional cost, as the original one was not picking up. I agreed.

3. Within 4 days the replaced MCB dropped again. The electrician failed to fix the problem, and asked me to contact customer care instead.

4. On contacting customer care on 23.10.15 evening, all the details were recorded eby attending customer care executive, and was asked to wait for complaint no, which never came off. I again called customer care, and was appalled to know that the complaint was not recorded there with no explaination for the same. I now insisted to speak to Sr. executive. After much reluctance, he came on line and finally complaint no[protected] was allotted.

5. Next day on 24.10.15, Mr Mohsin khan from service centre attended the complaint, and first replaced the defective voltmeter. He further informed that the 40 Amp capacity DB MCB replaced by shop electrician should have been of ‘C’ grade, hence need replacement again at additional cost. He couldn’t explain if any such standard installation procedure was to be furnished to the purchasers. He also left without connecting the stabilizer to mains/ inverter, as new MCB was not available with him.

6. In evening, neither the electrician nor Mr Mohsin Khan, the service centre executive, picked up the phone. Panicked, I called on Customer care again, They acknowledged the complaint no and asked me to wait for new complaint no, which, as earlier, didn’t come off despite waiting for more than 15 minutes and phone was disconnected.

7. As the power supply was now not there, I spoke to supplier to depute electrician with ‘C’ grade MCB immediately, which he promised to depute. On chasing vigorously, he ultimately arranged another electrician. I asked him to to take out the stabilizer from system and connect the line directly.

8. Stabilizer is now lying useless with nobody bothering for it, as payment has been made.

This sad state-of-affairs has compelled me to consider takin up this matter on the customer friendly platform, mouthshut.

Needless to mention, such poor quality of product and even poorer After-sales-service brings disrepute to all the indigenous manufacturers, as response from all the manufacturers from foreign origin has been of par excellence.

Options available now are:

i) M/s V-guard replaces the stabilizer altogether while making good my expenses on replacing MCBs and electrician charges.

ii) My complete expenditure as above is paid back and stabilizer is collected back by supplier/ M/s V-guard.

iii) Matter is taken up in Customer complaint forum and other available forums for compensation for the agony and harassment, me and my family went through, due to avoidable power failure, poor equipment quality coupled with poorer response from Customer care.


I look forward for a quick response from the concerned.

I had a problem for geyser, please take a complaint on this.
I had purchased a halogen room heater on november 2014 of vguard. Within the use of two month it got four times out of order. I had complained for this . But they were not responded for this. This year I had used it on the arrival of winter, but within the seven days of its use it was again out of order. I will registered complain to customer service, they repaired it at the cost of Rs.520. But after 8days it is again out of order. Then what should be the solution.
All the service engineers are saying this is the defective model but till there is action taken from company side.
I am suffered with spondalisis, so in winter it is very essential for me. But I can't get the service of room heater.
So please consider my query, as it is not possible for me to spend Rs.500 regularly within a short spam of period.
I have purchased V Guard VW 400 for AC on 9-04-13 from Chawla Electronic Faridabad. Sr no. is VS06VA22203. Since purchase the product started giving problem since 1st month. Logged complain on 10-05-13. But problem could not resolved completely. Problem occurs again and again. Last year we used AC directly after one complain. this year it has given problem twice. Now today is last date of warranty. Request to replace it with new one as I have not used it at satisfaction level.
I had purchased V guard Water heater and Issue started from the first month itself. I have raised complaint against it and still the Issue is not fixed.
