[Resolved]  Videocon D2H — Non installation of Videocon DTH

Respected Sir/madam

I had purchased a Videocon DTH connection from Rahul Electronics, Bulandshahr on 05.11.2010. I was promised that my installation will be done within 24-48 hrs. by the showroom and also by the company via an sms sent to my phone no. But no one came to my home till 07.11.2010. After that when I complained to the dealer, he promised that the company representative will come by 08.11.2010 morning. On 8th, he promised, that it would be done by 8th evening. simultaneously, I complained on the company's regional helpline no. ([protected]) where they gave me my complaint i.d. as 21965364 and promised to resolve the issue within 24 hrs., i.e by 09.11.2010 morning. But when no one came till 9th evening, I recalled the same helpline where they finally asked me to wait till 10th morning. The behaviour and response of Rahul Electronics and the local service centre executives at Bulandshahr was extremely rude during all this period.

Finally, today on 10th evening, the company representative came to install the dish antennae and said that activation will be done within 5-10 minutes. It has been 7 hrs. and the connection has not yet been activated. Moreover, they say that the server is down and activation will not be possible atleast till tommorrow.

As Videocon DTH boasts of its quick, service, I am Feeling cheated and can not hope for a better service without interruption in future if there server is down even from the first day.

I no more believe in commitments of Videocon DTH services and request for your assistance so that they can think twice for making false claims to the society.

Saurabh, so sorry to hear about your bad experience but you are not alone. i called Videocon customer care for this very thing and let me tell you they sucks. i called them and they dropped my call 4 times and wosre part of it is culprit was their so called floor superviser.

Even i had the same experience from videocon dth. i made the payment on 15th nov 2010, now it is 20th nov. But still no body come to my home or called me. I have called the customer care many time during this period and every time they promise that they will install it with in 24 hours and given complaint no too. But after that nothing. My humble suggestion to all o[censored] 'Dont go for it i[censored] have some other option'
