[Resolved] Videocon LCD TV — TV not working.No power supply | |
I have purchased VIDEOCON LCD TV INTEGRA27 26" from M/s VIJAY SALES on[protected]. From last few weeks the TV is not starting on switching on power supply. Subsequently, I registered my complain on[protected] using toll free no. for Videocon service. Complain no. given to me : MUM[protected]. Service Engg. came to attend the problem on[protected]. As per him, the power supply unit in the TV is not functioning & needs to be replaced. He was not having the part with him & said that he will give the feedback to the service centre and that the part will be received within 2-3 days. Since that day, we are still waiting for the Service Engg. to come & replace the required part and put back our TV in working. If this is the state of the Videocon after sales support, one should think twice before going to buy a Videocon product. Was this information helpful? | |

I totally agree with you rahul...I have the Videocon 32" Integra LCD and its giving me the same problem with power supply and the LCD is currently at the Service centre and the man told me that its a power supply Issue and will try repairing the same or else will have to replace the part for 2500/- however the part is currently not in stock and may receive the part in a fortnight...15days...now thats unacceptable cuz if this is a known Issue (common fault) why arent they ready for such problems and provide a better service by fixing it immidiately...at least be ready...now the man says that he would get back to in 2days and then take it from there...I'm sure the Videcon staff does not use Videocon products as they have a known Issue...No wonder these LCDS come cheap...
I agree with you guys. I have a Videocon Integra 32 LCD and I am now facing the same problem. Problem with the power supply. Just sopke to their service engineer and he gave me the estimate of Rs 3500/- including service charges, now that's gonna burn a big hole in my pocket. Not only that, he said the part will not be in stock and will take 5 days. Now I wonder for how long will I have to be without TV, especially with the Champions Trophy already started :-(

Some one needs to start a mass lawsuit, this is seriously unacceptable.
I got a quote of 15, 000 for a LCD problem from the engineer (not sure he was 1, more like an electrician) and all of this before I could convey what the problem was.
I then switched off and switched on the TV 5 - 6 times in front of him, and voila!! the tv works.
Now i knew this from the start, but the person actually gave me a quote before I could even describe it, shows what a money making scam the service company is.
The flaw is in the fact that Videocon neither builds the TV nor does it service it by itself, it buys from china, advertises the product and leaves this ridiculously greedy service company to service it.
Anyways this time around, I am not stopping here, some1 higher up in videocon is going to hear about this.
My tv is already fixed by a local electrician for 200/- but i dont feel like letting it go this time :)

Purchased a plasma tv videocon and the product tv screen not working after a week ... went to the service center and the person sitting there told that screen not work proprly so it change 10days i went again and asked that time that manager is telling that it cant be repaired and they will send it for replacement , i gave zerox copy of the warenty card and bill everything and even after 10days they are not botherd to call back , when i called they have no answer .. already i have visited their service center 4 to 5 times and they are not providing proper service. My complaint number MUM[protected]. I have lodged te complaint through toll free number [protected] on 20th August 2010 informing that my Kenstar LCD TV is not workingI was informed that the call will be attended within 24 hours. It has been almost a week now and since then I have been calling everyday the toll free number. Each time I am promised that the call will be attended on the same day or the next day. Whenever I show my frustration they provide me some service center phone numbers which never works.
I am totally disgusted with the service of Videocon.Request you to please guide as to what I should do.

I purchased VIDECON LCD 40 inch TV from Hypercity on 19/12/2011.And now it is not working .I put a complaint on 12/06/2012 (complaint no BAN[protected]). But after continuous follow ups also they are not coming for attending .Always they are telling tomorrow they are coming, but never come and the reply is there technician is on leave,If such type of after sales service I am getting then please suggest me, should I use your product or you will improve the service Hello Bhushan,

Government is not bother about the customer.
Even you approach the escalation, they never respond it properly they just say "please apologies" It looks like they (product manufacturer) are building a training center "how to ask apologies to the customer"

HI, AS I PURCHASED THIS LCD ON 22 MARCH 09 .BUT ONLY IN 2 DAYS AFTER USING, I GET NOTICED THAT LCD HAVE PROBLEM . FIRST IT NOT ABLE TO SAVE CHANNEL. AS ITSELF IN 2 3 DAYS MEOMORY WASHES & ALSO AUDIO BANDS ARE NOT WORKING AS IT ONLY HAVE 1 DEFAULT SETUP.
FOR THIS I COMPLAINT SEVERAL TIMES TO SERVICE CENTER.
BUT TILL TODAY NOTHING HAPPEN.
