Vijayanand Travels — Refund of ongoing journey due to late arrival at Destination

Undersigned had booked 2 tickets of vrl travels from ahmedabad to bangalore on 25/12/12 through M/S.Bhagyalaxmi travels, nr.Baroda express highway, ahmedabad and subsequently pnr no 10082704 & 10082706 & seat no u13 & u14 were allocated. I had board the bus on 25/12/12 at 3:30 p.M. From the pick up point M/S.Gokulesh petrol pump, narol, ahmedabad and committed reaching time at bangalore was 26/12/12 5:30 p.M. In anticipation of the same I had booked another ticket from banglore to trivandrum through kallada travels which was about to leave at 8:15 p.M. From kalasipalayam & 9: p.M. At night from madiwada, bangalore. However, I had been dropped by vrl at anand rao circle, bangalore at 9:30 p.M. And as a result, I lost my ongoing journey bus as well as the entire money. Through out the journey I was been in touch with the driver regarding reaching time and every time it was been assured to reach latest by 7:00 p.M. At bangalore and in anticipation I DID not cancel tickets of my ongoing journey. During the journey more than 3 times I conveyed the facts to the customer care number[protected] and had a talk with mr.Mithun and another gentleman but they could not act on my complaint. My observations for the delay are as under.

1) from beginning bus was late by half and hour.
2) at navsari, bus took more than hour to load their booked parcels.
3) through out the journey, bus visited every transport hubs of vrl logistics which coasted a lot of time.
4) driver was not driving the bus as per the flexibility of the traffic.
5) on 26/12/12, at 2:00 p.M. I finally inquired with the driver at hubli but he continued to commit false statement of reporting to bangalore latest by 7:00 p.M.

In whole episode, concerned officials of vrl have deliberately played their roles without taking a serious note of the customer's complaint and as a result undersigned had to lost his bus, money and the most important committed time to reach trivandrum to attend govt.Meeting. It is the responsibility of the travel authority to keep their customer updated about all expected delay in reaching to the destination whereas in this case though the customer was following up for the same, non of the officials of vrl have understand their responsibility and taken everything lightly.

By this complaint, I sincerely wish to urge you to extend your most appreciable support in terms of getting refund of rs.3200/- (2 ticketa from bangalore to trivandrum through kallada travels, ticket no. Oonl81961, seat no 6ub,13ub - copy may be provided on request) from vijayanand travels.

Vijayanand Travels — Use of substandard bus for the journey

My wife boarded Pune-Hubli bus starting Pune at 10.30 Pm on 1st April. The bus is travelling at a speed of 30 to 40 Km per hour. The scheduled arrival in Hubli is 7AM on 2nd April. The bus had reached Belgaum at 9AM and was halted there for 45 minutes. This halt was presumably to get a relief bus. But the journey was continued in the same bus as the relief bus did nit arrive.
It is utter irresponsible act on the part of Vijayanand Travels to put the vehicle which is not in good state of repairs. This company's tarrif is almost double of the state transport bus but the service is so poor.
In all fitness of things, they should at least reimburse the ticket money to all suffering passengers of this journey.
MY MATERIAL FROM RICHUR R.R.[protected] LEFT ON 26.12.2008. STILL NOT REACH PUNE CITY.

I am fed of calling not less than 20 times.

Pl. do not your goods through Vijayanand Transport.

It my experince and request all karanataka state people.
