HI MY NAME IS PARIN SAVLA
I HAVE BEEN USING THE VODAFONE SERVICES FOR PAST 4 YEARS BUT OF LATE I AM FACING THE NETWORK PROBLEM. I COMPLAINED THEM REGARDING THE SAME IN JULY 07 BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SINCE THEN EVERYTIME THEY GIVE A SPECIFIC DAY BEFORE THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 5 MONTHS SINCE I HAVE GIVEN MY COMPLAINT. I DID REQUEST THEM FOR A TEMPORARY ALTERNATE SOLUTION BUT THEY DENIED IT ON THE GROUNDS THAT MANY CUSTOMERS ARE FACING THE SAME PROBLEM SO WE CANNOT PROVIDE ALTERNATE SOLUTIONS TO ALL THE CUSTOMERS.MR SERVICE REGISTRATION NO IS[protected] AND MY MOBILE NO IS [protected].PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

No vodafone signals
My office is in masjid moth, uday park, new delhi, but there are no signal at all of vodafone, only airtel works here. all vodafone connection in my office are dead, this place is a commercial area even then the connection does not work, my no is [protected](postpaid), pls help or i should also discontinue...
WE reside at Basement at 37 Paschimi Marg, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi-110057. There is no signal at the basement. We have at least four Vodafone postpaid connections at this address. You please install a 'BOOSTER' so that there is no signal problem. WE are willing to pay whateve amount is required. My mobile No. is [protected]. Please do the needful on an urgent basis.

    Vodafone /Mobile Bill Payment — Poor service!

    i took a postpaid number in mumbai and the number is [protected]..i came to chennai this month..i didnt receive my bill yet..i want to disconnect the number and want my last month bill too..please send my bill to my mail id as soon as possible and also disconnect the number as i dont need it anymore..please take necessary actions soon.there is no network coverage in my place also and its not possible to contact customer care also..
    I , Sri Swadesh Kr Chakrabarti residing at 321/1 Swamiji Sarani, Kolkata-700048, am a customer of Vodafone (erstwhile Hutch) having mobile no [protected]. Unfortunately i lost my Noika set having said connection while travelling by bus on 11.11.2007 at 8 p.m (apprx) and i also lodged a Diary with Lake Town P.S vide GD no. 684 dated 12.11.2007.
    The above connection may please be locked immediately.

    i am a vodafone user for 4 yrs and always pay the bill on time and personally.today i tried the bill collection service.i called the office at 10.00am and was told it would be done by 2.00pm.ireceived a call at 12.00 asking for the add.no one turned up,i called the excecutive,avinash([protected])who said he would reach in 15 mins.at 5.00 i called him again he did not receive my call.i called the payment centre who assured me that the bill would collected on the same date.i waited till 8.00 and no one came.i again called the customer service no.[protected],the lady said she would find out the delay and get back to me which she never did.such kind of service is not expected from you.

    Vodafone has a useless third class customer service crew they dont even know how to communicate to a customer who has a corporate plan connection i have had too many difficulties and hard time to understand these so called customer care executives. they lack of information they dont even know what are we calling for. i just wanted to know that how can i make a bill payment online or over the IVR system i spoke to 4 reps named ganesh,keshwar,ajit.prashant no one was able to explain as to what are the steps to be taken to pay bill at last i only explored the entire stupid i.v.r. system and found my way. this was really irritating for me to speak to everyone and explain all the things again and again. i mean if this is going to be the case then i think it would be better if i cancel the connection. it took me whole 2 hours to make a stupid bill payment. it ended up with frustation. i just wanted to say that vodafone needs to work on their customer care reps. they need to be trained on the ethics of tele servicing or they should choose customer service reps who speak correct and fine english.this is a limit now .someone needs to contact me about the same from your company.

    An amount @ Rs. 199/- for October and November 2007 has been
    deducted forcefully from my prepaid account of vodafone no. [protected].
    I approched two times to the vodafone stores at vikas marg Delhi on dt.
    01.12.07 and 19.01.08 regarding above said.

    I came to know that the said amount is deducted for activation
    of internet on phone. I hereby specify that neither made a request to
    activate the internet and nor used any time even it was activated. The
    Assistant in vodafone store on 01.12.07 assured me that she has sent an
    email to the concerned department and the money will be re credited in
    my account with in one week. But it is regreted to say that the
    assurance was not fulfilled. I further approach the same vodafone store on
    19.01.08 and on the enquiry the assistant said to me that she is not
    capable to do the needful.
    Hence I request to you that an amount of Rs. 398 may kindly
    be recredited to my account.

    I am ruby. My vodafone number is [protected].

    This vodafone people are so cheap and uneducated that they do not know hw to communicate with customers. I have been customer of vodafone from 4 years and have never missed out on payn any bills. Thistime my bill has crosssed 5000 and i did not pay as i had not been sent the itemised bill. I am presently abroad and i am askin them for the bill but they are not ready to send and some guys with the ohone number[protected] has used abusing laguage to all my frens and relatives. Iam plannng to lodge a complain against VODAFONE. the cheapest service provider.

I deposited my phone bill on your drop box in CP, M Block on 14/10/08 & Cheque No. 754614 amounting Rs. 589/- is clear from my account on 16/10/08. My outgoing call blocked from sunday. I meet your vodafone store at CP & show my Pass-Book to your person.He scan my Pass-Book page & mail to complaint cell. He told me that your phone activate within 4 (Four) hours. Now time is 9.42 PM (27/10/08). At the deewali occasion my phone not working. pl. activate as soon as possible. Otherwise I will go to consumer court & all expenses given by you.

    Hi vodafone customers...

    My name is praneeth ..im one amongst u frustrated very much after i took the vodafone connection.
    I've paid the bill li'l bit late and they barred my incoming n outgoing services. I expected my services wud be unbarred soon i pay the bill and then i did so...After i paid the bill i called up the customer care service and said them dat i paid the bill just now and i pleased them to activate my service. I was very happy the way an excutive repliedto me coz he said me it wud be done in half an hour. Alright i was waiting for dat moment ... later i looked at the clock it passed more than half an hour but my calls were not activated... Again i called up the customer service and a lady answrd my call and she asked me to take out the sim card and put inside after 15 min .. i did dat but ther was no use ... i waited for 6 hrs... still the services wer not active .. again i called up, an other executive said me dat it will be done in 2 hrs ... after dat i waited for 10 hrs ... services wer still not active ... so i thought to bang those executives and i called up again, i explained a lady abt my prblm facing wit this vodafone services ... She took all the information of mine regarding the payment and finally says dat "sorry sir we could not find any kind o[censored]pdate in our system" i donno wat systems do thay use... This is very very bad from the service provider... Vodafone this is not the way u serve to the customer... plz try to recruite the executives who are very spontaneous and well active while they answer to the customers... This is my humble request ... Ur executives are null, blank, no one has proper knowledge abt the product of which they r dealing wit. They cannot understand the customers queries... Plz recruite better executives... Though alll these happened i cannot deactive my services coz i love vodafone

    my mobile no is [protected], since 04 oct 08 i had not been using your service to due to some unforeseen circumstances in my family and i was unable to inform you either.My talk plan was 444/- i would like you to consider my case and reduce my rental to a minimum plan as i am not in a state to pay.
    i am your used last 3 years, but recently one month poor connectivity. i am in rudrapur, uttrakhand. If i call always jumping some another nos. its a happend last three weeks. its means you collect false calls charges in my mobile nos. so kindly check immediately.

    Another problem is i paid my bills amount dt 20.02.2009, (Hanumant communication, rudrepur, udhamsingh nagar, receipt no.181161 amount- Rs. 1900) but when i call always message "your payment not received."
    I am a vodafone user for last 7 years. The site for payment on line gets hung at "WISH TO LEARN MORE ABOUT YOU"
    This is not acceptable. Moreover the payment centres in Delhi refuse to accept payment for Kolkata mobile phone bills.
    Who is accountable for this is not known.
    i have deoosited two cheques bearing nos 581236 &581237 for 415- & 1238- being monthly payment for the month 112 to 113, for mobile nos [protected] & [protected] respectively. these cheques were dropped in the box provided in the BEST on 16/03/09, Generally, the cheques are debited to my accont within 3 days, but this is first time cheques are not colleced and realised for payment.i have paid all the bills regularly i.e too before dur dates, please look into the matter, let me know the status of these cheques, in order to avoid payment of penalty.

      Below is the complaint that I sent to the vodafone people. You would be able to understand the actual issue.

      "Hi

      I just checked my bill and found that I was charged for the SMSs that I send for almost the whole month. My SMS pack was not working. I don’t know how it got deactivated. And the worst part is that even if it was deactivated nobody bothered to inform me. This is ridicules. I have always found problems with the billing.

      You have 2 days to sought it out. I WILL NOT PAY THE CHARGES FOR SMS AT ANY COST. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PAYING MY BILLS ON TIME AND THEY ARE RARELY BELOW 1000. NOW I AM REALLY FED UP AND I FEEL I HAVE BEEN TOO NICE WITH YOU GUYS IN THE PAST.

      PLEASE HELP!!!

      Now what amazes me is that they say I can use the SMS50 pack with Talk-275 plan whereas this pack was working for around 2 months with this very plan. They deactivated it without informing me and I was charged for the SMS for the whole month.

      My billing cycle is from 10th to 9th of next month. The deactivated my sms pack on 12th Oct, though as per there policies an sms pack can not be deactivated within the billing cycle but only at the month end.

      Their statements are contradictory to their own policies.

      I am waiting for some response from them, but I know they won't provide me with a waiver of Rs 400 at this moment where I am paying the remaining bill of Rs 1100.

      And when I would request for a disconnection or go to Consumer Forum, they would be paying much more than that.

      I requested vodafone care to deactivate SMS @ 10p plan,so i can activate 1 Rs STD facility.They deactivate and said me to wait for 24 hour's for deactivation.Next day i tried to activate STD 1 Rs card,but not able to activate getting message "card face value grater than session value".Again i contacted to customer care to deactvate.They advice me to send message like "SSMS NO" to 56789 again to deactivate.I tried to send 3 times but get back message from vodafone like"keword mismatch" and deducted 6 Rs for 3 sms.Now they advice me to send SMS to 111. Get same message back like your request will be actioned in 24 hours.
      I am very much frustate about the vodafone service and charges

      Vodafone — Sms deactivation

      Inspite of activating my sms card all my sms rates were 1 re. I had activated it on 23 aug 2008 .I tried to call to vodafone customer care, but their network was busy.
      What the hell vodafone is thinking about itself ...i tool the plan of daily 2 rupees rental and 30 sms free per day ...and man I get cutt oof 2 rupees daily and I get no SMS free !!!

      If you see the trailing mails below, its been 11 days since I logged in a complaint and a request to stop the services but to my extreme disappointment, it has still not been deactivated and Vodafone is continuing to deduct my balance each and everyday. I fail to understand does a company like Vodafone fills its pocket by cheating its customers like this.

      Please treat this as my last mail. I am getting my connection deactivated if I do not get a message for deactivating of service today.

        Vodafone — Activated Caller Tune without my permission!

        Vodaphone activated a silly caller tune on my prepaid connection no. [protected] and deducted Rs.35/- from my balance. I have been complaint several times on customer care but attender says, caller tune has activated, because I wish to activate. This is not the way exploit the consumer so cheaply.

        Rest I have been receving their ad call 5 to 6 time within a day. I think customer grievance are not being seriously entertaining by VODAPHONES.

        Now I wish to get rid of that silly caller tune / ad calls / ad SMS without sparing my money & time and credit my balance with deducted amount.
        I am working in Xansa & my mobile no. is [protected] & they have activated caller tune on my no. without any request from my side, & this had happened thrice with me & they have deducted 60Rs bal each time. I have made several calls in the customer care and everytime they say, it will not be repeated, however there is no action taken till yet. And now i am really pissed off because of the inconvenience caused to me & first of all i want my caller tune to be deactivated & i want the money to be refunded ASAP. Please take a note of it & provide me the reference no. for the complaint raised on my email address mentioned above. Thankingyou.

        I am holding a postpaid satyam corporate vodaphone connection.The digusting activity they have performed is that they have activated the default vodafone caller tune service on my mob no:

        i had and have been sending 2 of the deactivation messages daily viz.

        I request the concerned authorities to disable/deactivate my present caller tune ASAP so that it wont be reflected in upcoming bill and also refund the amt of caller tune service charged on my account uptill now.

        My pre-paid Vodaphone mobile no. [protected] was refilled on[protected] first for Rs.199.00 by retailer Gutka Stores, Digha naka at 08.59.44 hrs (transaction ID MU[protected]) and again later on the same day[protected] by mistake for Rs.350.00 by retailer Galaxy, Thane(W) at 12.22.24 hrs.(transaction ID MU[protected]). This error was reported to the retailer Galaxy on the very same day[protected] for reversal of the second transaction and refund of Rs.350.00 charges. Galaxy has received the complaint order no.[protected] from their distributor for reversal, but has not received the confirmation from their distributor, for the reversal and refund. Would urge you to consider an efficient procedure of reversal to customer to the same degree as is your present procedure of cutting off the telephone connection in case of any delay in refilling beyond the due date.

Interestingly i did not get any bills after this but, i was in for a big surprise !. Vodaphone customer CARE executives started calling and harassing me on my other vodaphone number saying that my phone number [protected] is under use in Karnataka(while the SIM card is with me in Delhi) and deducted Rs.6, 500 from my other phone as well as disconnected it.         Last month Voda phone in formed me that I have successfully download caller tune and Rs 30/= per monthy will be charged for that.I immediately contacted customer care and asked them how they download caller tune for me with my permission.?         I am unable to activate ISd in my vodaphone number [protected]. When i call the customer care to activate it they said i cud send the sms ACT HISD to actibate it which i did .

        the meaage came back saying unable to process isd.! when i called up aagain they are asking me to pay a refundable deposit. As per vodophone booklet whih you get it never asks for any such refund.

        I have had a Vodaphonenumber which i have been trying to change to Prepaid as I was going to be out of country for a while. I made FOUR trips to The four bungalow office of voda phone, the first two trips i patiently returned with more papers as address etc, they kepts creating problems for me which bordered on it looking like they simply do not want to encourage changing to prepaid, the harrasment continued till i requested on my 4th trip that the line be disconnected. At which point they said they had done the conversation and it will be changed. It has been 3 days since and it has not been done. The two extremly inefficent officers there were Mehrunisa Sheikh and Amit paal. i found them highly unintelligent and completely unawaye of their own rules.         Vodafone — without my knowledge they activate the caller tune and charging

        I bought new Vodafone SIM and activated last Sep2010 my number is [protected]. After then I found that without my knowledge they activated the caller tune and they deduct each 30 rupees fro last two month. I called the customer care they said going to deactivate but still it was not happen. I did too many time deactivate the caller tune through the customer care instruction. This is also not happened. So I feel vey bad mentally. Kindly take the action.

        I AM A USER OF VODAFONE, they charged me 30 Rs for caller tune service second time without my permission. First time they charged the money and refund it after 2 days after giving complaint to costumer care. again they have done the same thing. every time they bring my balance to Nagetive and i am unable to make my importent calls that will cost me havely.

          I sent this complain vodafone customer care many times. I am facing many problems during using vodafone connection regarding vodafone services & vodafone customer care services.           I sent this complain Vodafone customer care many times.

          Vodafone customer care executive connect me other lines have no connection with my problems. I am facing many problems during using Vodafone connection regarding Vodafone services & Vodafone customer care services.

          In Vodafone customer care no person can help me please solve my problem. I talk many times to customer care executive but they cannot satisfy me!
          I want to go consumer court regarding bad services of Vodafone & Vodafone customer care.

              I purchased a world calling card from your office situated at Kunjpura
              Road
              Karnal. The seriaj number of the card is [protected] for Rs 550/-
              indicating the validity for three months on 05/11/2007.As I purchased this
              card first time I asked your employee to get it activate and the same
              was got activated by your employee and told that you need not use the
              pin number for dialing for the international call. After two to three
              days when I tried to contact my son at Manchester UK. I was surprised to
              receive a voice massage that only Rs 1/61 is lying in my account,
              whereas the balance should be Rs499/-. I could not under stand where the
              amount has gone.
              Please check from your record how this happened. I will also like to
              point out that since than I am trying my best to contact your vodofoam
              care number 50119 daily but of no use. The said number is availabe, but
              the executive is not availabe for a long time like 1/2 hour and as
              such we have to disconnect the phone. Today also at 9.45 PM I called on
              your toll free number 111 and narrated the whole episode. The lady who
              was attending the phone tried to connect my mobile to your number 50119
              but of no use and ultimately the phone was disconnected after 15
              minutes.I failed to understand why the customer care is not attending my
              complaint. Please look into the matter and correct the balance of my world
              calling card or tell me to which number the call was made and on which
              day and time.I may like to inform you that on05/11/2007 I received a SMS
              from your number56789 `Hellow! Thank you for yourrequest on PINLess
              dial service for calling cards.The validity of my mobile is
              upto7/10/2008.

              I am an user of your Vodafone mobile service. My son Mr. Devesh Sumit was purchase a colour Vodafone set-225 with new connection on dated[protected] from local sealer Harsh Language & watch Co. Orderly Bazar, Varanasi.

              On dated[protected] we found the screen of that set is damage. For repairing purpose we give that set to Harsh Language & watch Co. on dt. 13.11.2007.
              Today they told me that the local distributor & service provider is not repairing that set and also not giving any details when they are able to repair that set. (i was given to understand that the process would take 48 hours).on saturday, the 11th verification was completed. after calling the toll free numbers at least twenty five times, always being left on hold, i am left helpless and frustrated with the service. considering there are four vodafone mobile users in my family, of six, i rejoined the band wagon after a short stint of travel. i now hold an impotent phone, not willing to lose money waste time and energy to recharge with a prepaid ticket(made for individuals with vision which is par excellence)and the post paid not done. everyone is extra sweet before you take the connection, sign on the dotted line and you are done for. like i am. please vodafone do what you must NOW!
              I called 111 to know about world calling cards.But, they told to contact 50119 to know about the required information.When i called it was surprising to hear that the number i dialed is an invalid number and asked to check the number.why this is happening.

                This regarding fraud scheme campaign

                I had a prepaid connection [protected]. One day i received a call from Intouch solutions. They told me about the new scheme regarding the vodafone pre-paid to post-paid with that they will providing gift voucher including one Reebok bag, T-shirt and pen and also 10 paisa vodafone to vodafone in Rs 25 per month included in my bill.
                For this i paid Rs 250 in cash my new sim is activated but the 10 paisa voda-to-voda(fone) is still not activated and i havent received any gift voucher from them
                I have all the voice recordings in phone for the proof. For more infromation u can contact me any time i have full proof payment slip also and the address.

                Recently I bought one Vodafone six-years connectivity prepaid card for my son (we have BSNL, Tata-Indicom mobile lines with an Airtel landline added to this). Since, he is only 12 years old I could not take the card in his name and as such I took it on my name. First my son recharged the SIM with Rs.50/-. After a couple of test calls and downloading of a ringbone it reduced drastically to Rs.2.84 paise. Everybody know that Vodafone lines get number o[censored]nwanted SMS automatically. Since he do not know the dangerous nature of these and since he do not know how to get rid of them we just deleted them. One day, while he was using the phone somehow a Vodafone alert service got activated and his balance of Rs.2.84 awfully reduced to -28.16.

                We checked with the dealer he said that some service might have got activated. Then we checked with the Vodafone customer care and as per their direction we again recharged for Rs.50/- which act deducted Rs.-28.16 from our talk value and we were left with Rs.14.35. (So we paid Rs.30/- for an unwanted service.) Then we used that Vodafone alert which was somehow chosen by him and got a reply saying that the alert service was deactivated. Then we sent one SMS to stop vodofone junk mails by using a term ACT DND (suggested by customer care people) to the specified number. We got a message from Vodafone saying that their SMS will be stopped. But after a day or two we started to receive junk SMS from them.

                Today morning we had only Rs.9.37. This afternoon again our account reduced to Rs.-20.63. Probably Vodafone company swallowed another 30 rupees for its favorite service. So, just in a week they swindled Rs.60.00 from a customer diligently. I spoke to the customer care twice. Both the female staff repeated their jargon “the customer is wrong”. Fed up with their attitude I finally broke the SIM-card into two and thrown it away. Thus I spent Rs.350/- for learning a soar full lesson from Vodafone.

                Vodafone’s advertisements are extremely good; their customer care people are very kind (only male staff); their advertisements are catching but their attitude is detestable.

                Dear sir/madam,
                having been a voda phone user for the past 3 years, i am extremely dissapointed with the pre-paid scratch card, i purchase each time, , , , , , , , , , my cell number is [protected] (GOA), , , , , , , , , , , , the 16 digit pin number gets obliterated while in the process of gently scratching to retrive it (my teenage daughter is the user of this cell phone) and i feel extremely sorry for her when she has to forgo her pocket money each time she has to recharge her card. I wish to ask youll to look in the matter seriously in order that unsuspecting users are not made victims or scapegoats on account of compromising on the quality of your recharge prepaid scratch cards ...kindly reply and expedite the matter.

                now vodafone moving the worlds no 1 fraud provider, i have a connection with number [protected], yesterday am charged for Rs 50 at that at time a messege comes you have minus balance of rs 19, and here am surely not make any addons but they say here am make Vodafone alert in my connectionI think indias first and most powerfull fraud connectins are comes from vodafone. now am going to consumer court for never happends like this for no one

                    Hi,

                    I made a call to local number when i was in roaming.
                    For that i got a bill amount Rs 18.
                    Usually the charge will be Rs 1.40 for local call.
                    I spoke with customer care executives many times,they said we will connect with seniour till that be patient on the line.
                    I was waiting aroung 15min at every time after that the call was disconnected automatically.
                    This is very horriable to me and making a head ache as well.
                    Please look in to this.

                    The worst customer care which irritates more of the offers at the odd times but when we try to reach them by calling 111 we should be waiting for the whole day
                    why are you calling 10 times...this is the point where problem starts
                    am subscriber of vodafone up(E) circle, my Mobile No. is [protected], On December 2007 I received a call from Customer Care No. [protected] offering for Cricket Pack but without pressing any key IVR responsed your Cricket Pack has been activated after this also I received a SMS for confirmation.After this Immediattely I complaind this case to CC vodafone but they did not responed else.I told them to block this no. from calling me but they said that I have to pay Rs. 99 for per month to block this number.I have send one E-mail them also, but there was no response.
                    On 29 Janauary 2008 I disactivated this Cricket Pack and IVR confirmed that your Cricket Pack has been disactivated, but On 1 Feb. 2008 they again activated this Pack without any confirmation or any call. After this again I called and mailed them but there is no little response.
                    This is not only mine problem a lot of customers are facing such type problems.

                    i have 3 vodafone numbers on my name. ONe is used by my Dad. We had payed all the 3 bills before time and have the receipt as well. But i have been receiving call from call centre of vodafone saying " one bill has not been paid " and we will deactivate the service, which they did. Inspite of me telling them its been done, i have the receipt, i provided them the receipt details as well... but what so ever i had to do this 4 times, to different people calling from call centre.. ( i really dont know ...how they say THEY ARE HAPPY 2 HELP ).

                    Now our bank show the entry of VODAFONE for the same bill been collected on 17th of April and we paid the bill on 14th...

                    so now can someone help me with some CEO email id..or any NEWS cahnnel site...where i can carry forward this of VODAFONE...

                    because of all this they have deactivated my DADs no... completely now..no out going and no incoming at ALL... my dad been suffering from his Business calls...                     Since last 15 days i m having lots n lots of problems, network is busy even for 2 hrs n i m not been able to make n recieve calls and messages during peak hours in the day time. various services got activated on my no without my request n consent, balance got dedeucted several times it goes negative. customer care executives misbehaved on being asking for the solution. i m even having the proofs for that. if the vodafone is not providing the customer the privilige to make calls in case o[censored]nsufficient balance then why the balance are going negative if the client is not having appropriate balance just for the sake of earning vodafone is doing all this. i m having more than 6 connections but they r good for nothing!!! gprs not working, mails not working! i dont know what to do i m mentally harrased n financially strucked by these guys!!                     I am a journalism student and completely shocked by the way Vodafone is working. My friend Lost her Mobile this wednesday Mobile No. [protected]. She is a prepaid customer. When she called up Vodafone Customer service, they said she need to file a complaint in her area Polica station, then go to the nearest Vodafone centre, give the ID proof and only then they will be able to block her card. We are students and living 30 km away from the city. Now as she lost her mobile in the city, if she goes back to our area police station, Lodge an FIR, goes back to the city again to get the SIM blocked, it would easily take her more than 3 hrs( City-Police Station - City). My question is that if someone makes an illegal call in the meanwhile, whom would be blamed for that? Obviously my friend. In the recent days of terror peaking high everywhere in the country, these rules make life of a common man much miserable as they can fall under any trouble. I want to ask will Vodafone take the blame if she is arrested if her mobile number is used to make any sought of illegal calls?

                    Vodafone — Extra bill for festival day SMS

                    This is with regard to extra bill of 28.5 rupees in the Bill dated 25.09.08.

                    I am in Corp 249 plan which includes 200 free SMS/month. In last month I made only 145 SMS’s, so there should be no charges for SMS

                    All the SMS made on the 03/09 and 12/09 are charged on occasion of festival day(total 57 SMS).

                    This was never informed to me while talking the SIM nor informed to via SMS. This unfair bill and this is not acceptable.

                    This is the way vodafone has found to loot the customer on the festival day.

                    28.50Rs is charged for SMS made on festival day.

                    Thus despite putting my time o[censored]nassessable and immeasurable value on unlimited requests, and spending money thereon M/s VODAFONE has neither solved any of my problem nor had the courtesy to reply to me.

                    Dear Sir,

                    Sub:Automatic activation of caller tune and Mental agony

                    This is to bring to your notice that vodafone has this strange habit of activating caller tunes without the consent/permission of the customer. Moreover, there is no facility in 111 to address such complaints. On December 06, 2008, while i was on my way for a picnic with my friends, i received a message saying that my caller tune service has been activated and "Awaz nahi aati"(some, cheap caller tune) was set as my caller tune. To my embarrasment when one of my clients called me up the very next day i was informed that some cheap and disgusting caller tune had been activated.I tried calling Customer care but in vain.I did not know how to deactivate and had to switch off my cell for two full days.
                    I could not attend to any of my client's call and had to stay out of contact.After i came back i surfed the net and deactivated the caller tune

                    I am a lawer by profession and such cheap things cannot be entertained by me.The mental agony undergone by me cannot be expressed in words. It has marred my reputation as a lawyer. Moreover, i will be compelled to take an action against Vodafone if my complaint is not attended to in time.

                    To my surprise, my cell is also showing a negative balance of Rs.21.11/-. kindly take imediate action.

On last june 2008, i got a call from their customer care that they are providing me a new postpaid number and i had to submit only rupees 500 along with the documents. Their sales executive visited and taken 500 rupees and the documents and handed over a new simcard to us. Since then, the number never started as they told me that this number is not in use and it is having a pending bill.                     I am to bring a very unfortunate matter in your kind notice regarding an illegal/unauthorized issue of a Vodafone Sim card.Few days ago, suddenly a group of police came to my one colleague's house in connection with interrogation of a car theft case. At that time she was not at home. The police said to her mother to attend her in the local police station. Naturally, my colleague became amazed and she went to the police station on the very next day. In the police station what he heard is amazing. A person stole a Maruti Omni car and afterward he made a call to the car owner and said if he did not pay of Rs.20, 000/- his car will be destroyed. The number displayed in the screen of Mobile phone of the car owner is [protected] and surprisingly this vodafone number exist in the name of my said colleague. My colleague does not know anything about that sim card and she never subscribed any vodafone number but surprisingly someone has purchased that sim card by producing her copies of valid address proof and photo. Now the question is as she is quite confident that she has not subscribed/purchased any such sim card, now, how will she challenged the matter because she is being harassed by the police.Her life is really under anxiety and agony and so if there is any one who can help in this matter plz ring me at [protected] or mail me in my e-mail id

                    I did online recharge using your http://www.vodafone.in/Pages/index.aspx site to [protected] ...I have selected Karnataka (which is correct) and YES BANK. I chose 201 rupees full talk time 30 day validity option. I filled up the information, it redirected to YES BANK I filled up my customer ID and Password. I typed 201, clicked the only option, I got password SMS to my another number ([protected]) tagged with YES BANK account, I typed the password, did the transaction to Vodafone BILLDESK. I recieved confimation page with confirmation number (54508). My cell is not yet recharged. I rechecked by filling confirmation number and my cell number in vodafone site. It said id is invalid, even I called your cutomer care(111) 6 times. First agent told me to wait for 1 hour, 2 agent told me to wait for 24 hours, 3rd agent told me to half an hour to recheck it. 4th agent told me to wait for 2 hours that an update is going on, 5th agent told me to wait again, and told if recharge not done then ur money ll be taken back to my YES BANK account.

                    WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON TO REACHARGE JUST 201 rupees.

                    EITHER VODAFONE OR YES-BANK ONLINE THINGS ARE NOT WORKING WELL

                    i m using vodafone since it was named essar but i never faced a rude or u can say illmannerd behaviour like this before a call came to me from [protected] of your company by ur executive named raghuvir singh he talked to me like i m slave to him i just want to have information on international roaming but he started questioning me that "where are you going, when are you going ?"
                    and when i answered him he said if you are going after one month then why do you want information on roaming now. Is this the way to talk to the costumer i am really unhappy and unsatisfied with vodafone services.

                        I am a loyal Hutch (Vodafone) customer since January 2006. I got first Hutch connection in Kolkata in January 2006(Number: [protected]). The average billing was Rs. 3,000/- per month till May 2007. Then I transferred to Bangalore and again my brand loyalty and service satisfaction helped me to choose again the same brand and I got new Hutch connection: 99161 in the month of May 2007. I resigned from my previous organization and I joined other organization in August 2007. there I could not able to Hutch connection so I forced to take Airtel, within a week I changed it at my cost and I switched back to Hutch and I got new connection([protected]) by last week of August 2007 and I was one of the delighted customer of Vodafone.

                        I took one additional prepaid connection on 27th October 2007 for my wife Priya, she is a house wife and she carrying for 8th month. I collected the SIM from R.T.Nagar- Bangalore Vodafone shop ([protected]) and I submitted the all asked documents; ID proof: PAN card copy (AFTPJ8300A), address proof: ICICI Bank Statement and one Photograph to Mr. Natesh J. I requested Mr. Natesh, I am an existing customer, please consider my existence and proceed, I gently replied me that no sir its pre paid and its different connection at all and you need to cooperate me for all these formalities.

                        One fine day I got a call on my given alternate number [protected], that I have not submitted the appropriate document so my connection will be disconnected. I was driving and I simply replied back that I have submitted all document to RT Nagar Vodafone shop and he should coordinate his shop.

                        As usual I was in my office-Kormangala,Bangalore, and all of sudden unfortunately my wife faced casualty and she tried to contact me as well as my family doctor Ms Anupama, when dialed from [protected], she could not able to complete a call because the outgoing calls were barred. She kept on crying helplessly in my house at RT Nagar-(White house-Flat No: A1/305, 6th main, 15th cross, RT Nagar-2nd Block, Bangalore-560032), and finally we came to know in the evening when I backed to home by 6: 30 PM, and I found her in Hospital.

                        I enquired about the case and luckily everything was undercontroll, and then I rushed to RT Nagar Vodafone shop, where I met with your executive Mr. Natesh J. I was absolutely upset and I started shouting in your shop, in reaction Mr. Natesh started using abusive language and then he explained me that as per the address verification report, it’s found negative and that’s why it has been disconnected.
                        Mr. Natesh J. assaulted me and finally he misbehaved and used very abusive body language, raising figures and he threaten me; “keep quite otherwise I will throw you outside”.

                        Finally he took the details and he updates the same in system and immediately outgoing calls debarred from [protected].

                        My expectations were:
                        1. The day my address verification report found negative, I should have been inform specifically to submit any other address proof like lease agreement, PAN Card, LIC premium receipt etc so that I could have furnished the alternate address proof in order avoid disconnection.
                        2. Your executive should have understood my situation and circumstances rather showing me the Term and Condition page which I signed at the time of connection.
                        3. Decent behavior of Mr. Natesh J. RT Nagar Vodafone shop unlike using abusive and assaulting language.
                        4. Considering me as a existing customer, you could have given me privilege before baring the outgoing calls.

                        Seeking for justice from Vodafone Essar South Limited and Consumer forum of India:

                        1. The risk involved when my wife faced casualty and could not make a call to doctor
                        2. The mental harassment which I faced
                        3. Misconduct and
                        4. The pain which my better half faced due to lack of communication


                        Kindly find the all attached document which may be sufficient to prove me an educated Indian citizen.
                        1. Address proof: a) Bank Statement) Lease agreement
                        2. ID Proof: a) PAN Card, b) Driving License,
                        3. My visiting card issued by Barclays Bank PLC

                        Its High time Vodafone act on it for making its loyal customer how had submitted all the documents to face such situation which horrifies any common person with the situation faced.

                        VODAFONE POST LINE — ECS close

                        I was close my ECS on 23rd of January'2009.My billing date was 18th every month and my due date of ECS payment on 2nd. every month.I already send request for close of ECS facility and they confirm with me on 27 that my ECS facilty cancelled.and i paid my Bill amount by cash on 27 After that i got Payment of ECS on my bank and short balance bank return and they charge me Rs.85/-.Question is why they send the Amount on ECS if i cancelled the facility and i paid my bill amount?

                        Matter is not only Rs. 85/- but its principal.Vodafone is big Communication and international company they do act like we are fool.? In many case they are fooling us like they send us questin and by mistack we press "ok", so its automatically charge our account.what is this this is the un professional business.they make us big fool.

                        Vodafone Essar South Limited — ONLINE COMPLAINTS: Un-Incurred ECS debit by Vodafone

                        I have given ECS authorization for debiting my billed amount to Vodafone Essar Agents. There is an un-incurred debit of 1629.00 on my card account on March 19th, 2009 at 12:47 AM. When I called the customer care they first said that by telling them about the transaction ID they will be able to track the debit and without that they cannot do anything. I called the HDFC Bank Credit Cards division to find out the transaction ID which is 002531. When I called vodafone customer care again they said that even with the transaction ID they will not be able to see the details of the transaction within 24 hours of the transaction. They have asked me to mail to corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com. I have mailed to them today. I will keep updating this forum on the progress of this issue. Please advise me as to how I can be compensated for the trouble I am being put into.
                        i have taken usb internet connecrion of vodafone and its not working properly i have also tried at the service centers at varanasi.but all the executives are duffers they are not able to satisfy the customers now i am fed up plz help me i need help to use my internet .

                          vodafone one of the leading telecommunication partner in the world doing its worst service in india.they had inactivate my number 2 times, after the payment i had done. we had visited nearby vodafone shop regarding the query.we also asked the customer care for this,they cooly said that the amount is credited on someone's account.i really dont know what they are doing in the system with LAN SETUP..concerned people take necessary action in this matter.for more detail contact this e-mail id.

                          Vodafone — Change of caller tune without permission

                          The [censored]ing vodafone has done it again and this time they have tried to play with my image too. I had a particular caller tune set for my number and yesterday i got a message from them stating that my caller tune has been changed to some stupid caller (a loser's song in female voice) and its so yu will give money for not keeping it forget about me actually asking for it. And I called the customer care umpteen nuber of times but they as usual can only do two things, one to keep saying sorry 15 times in a sentence and to put yu on hold for indefinite time and terminate your call after yu have been put on hold for 25 min to half an hour.
                          Vodafone sucks guys... they can ruin yur respect too and they arent apologetic about it. The customer care exec cudnt tell me how they got a request for change of my caller tune but they had the guts to tell me that I will have to pay for change of my caller tune again. ( And they have deducted for this [censored]ing caller tune also, Rs. 15 were deducted for that.)

                          Vodafone Yu suck bigtime. [censored] yu ... [censored] yu 'n' number of times.

                          On 07/11/2007, I found suddenly that a caller tune service has been activated on my mobile phone by their system, however I had not copied or requested for that service at all. The same thing happened also to some of my known vodafone customers. When I argued the same to the customer care of VODAFONE, they refused to register my complaint and stated that I have myself copied the caller tune service from some other phone which is not true at all. And what I suspect that the company sets the services by force internally through their system.

                          I want to get your help from depriving such way again and again. Please take necessary antions for the same.

                          i bought one Philips Brand TV from Kamla nagr. Delhi-7. after approx seven months , it problems with sound. i complaint to the dealer. engineer comes and told us that TV had a sound card problem. he makes it repaired on that time. again TV occurs same sound problem. i again lodged a complaint. same engineer comes and repaired. again in amonth problem comes. i lodged a complaint again till from may 2007 no such engineer or dealer contact me. i lodged a compaint in Philips call centre and dealer several times i Had a record of my complaints with me. no such responce i recived from company nor dealer or call centre of the cmpany.

                          what i will do. what about the company reuted brand identity for a local customer. shall i through m TV

                          Vodaphone is fraud. I have pre paid vodaphone and they keep adding value added services on their own, and then they dont even cancel it when requested. FRAUD.

                          They make it very difficult to reach a manual operator.

                          And after an argument with their customer care executive, now they have blocked my phone's access to their manual customer care executive. FRAUDS.

                            I had purchased a new corporate connection ([protected]) from Vodafone in my company premises(TechMahindra) under a corporate plan. When i recieved my bill i saw that the corporate benifits were not given to me and on enquiring with Vodafone I found that I had to pay the full bill because of the fault of the Vodafone executive who missed out in telling me some facts.
                            Now on top of that Vodafone has barred my outgoing without prior notice causing a great trouble to me. I dont know why have they cut the outgoing from this number. Tried contacting the customer care but the care is too busy. Also written a complaint mail to which there has been no respomce since the past two days.

                            Well I am person having two Vodafone postpaid instruments. My outgoings calls were barred as many as thrice in a month, because of bad communication from the local dealer with Vodafone. I have suffered a lot in getting back the service. To add more to this I have received bill showing 517 SMS where as my cell counter shows only 34. I am being charged Rs. 208.5 for this. My bill was generated on 28th Nov, 2007 and I have paid the bill on 29th Nov, 2007, before receiving the notice, as I was passing thru their office. Later I noticed that I have been charged rs. 100/- as late fee. Wonderful!!!. I regret having taken Vodafone for my whole family.
                            same case with me. my phone number [protected] was barred without any reason.

                            I think now I am never going to take a hutch or a Vodafone ever.
                            Well after taking Hutch Corporate Connection, 100 Min free call, I really wonder they are give us 100 min free call. During the Hutch my bill was ranging from 250/= to 300/=. But from the past 2 to 3 months Vodafone is sending huge bill. 1st bill 350/= I paid the bill, 2nd 450/= again I paid the bill, now started getting mesgs for current bill is 850/= , 2400/= 2600/=(each msg I getting the bill amount is showing different) then I noticed that I have been charged more. I really wonder How they have arrived to this figures, When we try to call the customer care number getting connecting was big task, If at all lucky to get connected no proper information regarding the issues. Customer care can easily connect us for pending bill and disconnection of the phone. I regret having taken Vodafone connection, I had plans to take 2 more connection just in time I drop the ideas. thanks for better their service.

                              My account deducted by 30 rs. and activated my caller tune without request, then i call to cusomercare that time i spoke with Mr. AspakAhmed and this is complain number[protected] and he told me because of some mistake that was happen and you will get your balance back with in 72 hrs. at that time i have balcnce of 11 rs. and this number i am using as very professional so i can not put film song as caller tune so i request him to deactivate and he saw me the way for deactivate at that time 9:45 pm so it's late night and then i do so after 10 minutes i got another message your accout balance -3.29. i shocked and again i call to customer care and i spoke with one senior person Mr.TEJAS,i asked him for how can i call if any immergency bcas company make my balance(without my fault) in minus and it's mid night so he spoke very rude and told me "you can't do anything if we will not do anything regarding this matter and souting on me", so i need to know, this is desirable behavior with customer and i request you for satisfactory reply, and i hope it will help full to improve your business. have a nice day. bye

                              This is regarding misbehaviour of one of the vodafone customer care executive who used dirty slang language while talking. I do not know his name, but I have his mobile number ([protected]).

                              I had a number ([protected]) that I was using in delhi. There was some outstanding bill that I could not pay at that point of time as I relocated to some other place. Later on I got a call from the Vodafone customer care regarding the bill and I payed the same in Hyderabad Vodafone customer casre service. Again the person with the number stated above called up asking the receit number, I have told the receit number that I got from Vodafone customer care service, Hyderabad. The person refused to accept the same and used dirty slang language (which I even can't write) stating that I am producing a fake receit number and I didn't pay the bill. He harassed me alot.

                              I just want to ask Vodafone that is this your so called "HAPPY TO HELP" customer care service.

                              I want vodafone to take strict action regarding this person and I want a mail about what action has been taken against him.

                              Hope to hear soon from VODAFONE.

                                Self wants to cancel caller tones set on my phone. As per vodafone msg the "CAN CT" should be send to 50144. since 3 days am trying sending same to the above said number but my request is not processed. Without my willingness my caller tone is ocntinued i can say to get money.                                 I set a caller tune for 2 callers on my phone. but now i want to cancell it. i tried msging CAN CT to 114 but the msg couldnt be sent. a li'l while ago i tried to check my balance and it said minus 11 rupees. but now i am not able to check my balance. so does that mean that i cannot cancel my caller tunes untill i recharge my account?

                                Hi Vodafone Customer service,

                                Caller tune activated without my concern and i raised 10 complaints still it is not deactivated. I was facing this issue from last 10 days, still none of the customer service has deactivated it. I mailed several times after that now Vodafone accepted that it was activated by customer service and now to deactivate, i have to provide NOC from my company. Really its senseless and they need to pay penalty to the customer for such a kind of behavior and really frustrated of Vodafone Service.

                                  I am Mrs. Nirmala Ghose a resident of Allahabad, I am carrying a cellphone having Hutch / Vodafone no. [protected] bought in the name of my husband (Prof. N.K. Ghose, 32 Elgin Road, Allahabad). I have been staying in Delhi since last 6 month with my daugher. Since past 15-16 days, without notice , my outgoing calls got deactivated. Even after having balance and validity in my account I am not able to make any calls to my near and dear ones. I have made numerous calls to the Hutch / Vodafone customer care people and also made visits to these places, but to no avail.

                                  It is really frustrating, Can the authorities wake up and do something to alleviate my problem and agony that I am going through ?

                                  In the worst case, I would have to buy a SIM CARD OF some other service provider and lose the money that I have in balance, in addition to losing trust in VODAFONE SERVICES.

                                  I am one of the Subscriber of Hutch Pre-paid Mobile Phone No.:-[protected].This No. is of Bangalore(KarnatakaI. was outstation from 01/05/09 to 17/05/09& came back in the morning on on 19/05/09.Now most of the incoming calls are being as per your roaming charges.I tried so many times to contact your customer care.Every time they are asking my mobile no. and my name and doing nothing.Moreover the funniest thing what they say is that i am near the border area either of Karnataka-Maharashtra or Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh.Whereas my Cell is Clearly showing the Hutch Tower of Shivaingiah Colony which is one of the locality of Jeevan Bhima Nagar in Bangalore.Yesterday night at around 10.30pm, when i tried to contact your one of your Supervisers through Your Customer Care and held the phone in waiting for more than 18minutes., I could listen only some song during that much period.

                                  This is the way your people are attending the Customer Complaints.I think they are least worried in solving the Customer problem.Instead they prefer to have a nice sleep.They are not worried to tell their names even.
                                  Can i still hope something will be done in this regard.

                                  I am an employee working in Tarapur, Dist. thane. I am facing problem of poor network in the area. My employer has provided the service of Hutch to majority of staff. But due to poor network most of the time the callers are not able to call on our cell (whenever they dial our number, they get the message as switched off). Even if we get the ring, we need to come outside from our cabin to attend the call. I am thinking of terminating the service but as there are more colleages with same problem

                                  I request Hutch/ Vodafone to look into this matter and attend the case on priority. If this problem is not solved, then there is no option, but changing to some other service provider.

                                    My purpose of writing is only to tell other people of vodafone how much Useless company managment you are having in delhi, no one is sincere here in working.

                                    1) I am not aware of the charges of sending Email, Reciveing attachments,doing Fax and about making distribution list,abt notification alerts
                                    abt the significance of Buisness hours,wt effect i found when i change my buissness hours and days,how can i revert email through voice ivr, how can i send voice mail and in which manner Mobile Terminator will recieve
                                    2) Currently i am facing a prblm that i am not recieving notification alerts, also there is some technical prblm whn i dialed 131 and move for changing buisness hours through cell
                                    3)My major and main prblm is Your Customer care, i have given you a lots of feedback in regard of customer care services,specially in respect of your some responsible person like Amita, Premlata parihar,sanjoy Team,Rm. vishal gautam, Parul Bakshi,Sonika gaussain and suresh bhati but wt i found no change same things and useless serivce are on way,
                                    For i a valid concern i have to make a N number of call in customer care serivce and wt u people do with the call
                                    1) Your front executive dont know abt the concern, they people dont have a complete knowlege regading product service as in regard of lack of knowlodge they people start arguing with me and waste my time
                                    2) Most of the time they people dropped my call and even forget to pur intraction in account as a result i have to reveal the whole story to some one else
                                    3) When call is transfer to some senior person like Anu shree,Gargi,Sanjay khan,Saurav mittal,Niti,Shubham and lots of person are present there, instead of answering me in reagad of my query they people alway revert :Sir give us next 24 hrs i will give u a call back and after 24 hrs there is no such person is available so again wastage of time and energy,and as a result i have to made a lots of call
                                    4) Your concern team is dont have a such a good knowlege and even your All the vodafone store which i have visited in Past found to be uselees and dumb in regard of knowledge,The people dont have infro regardng the serivces and even your concer team persone bhawna made a call in past and without being loooking inot the matter wt prblm customer is facing and wasted my time and told to me for your concern i need a time i will give you a call by the next afternoon, i dont know whn afternoon of vodafone is going to be over

                                    5) Right now tell me wt should i do in the hour of emergency,customer care is not available to me and nodal and appeal authority are also seem to be useless, wt i observe the company process is just doing a wastage of time and money.
                                    I am not aware of the services which is running on my number [protected], and even in past i made a visit on the Hutch shope situated at sout ex. there i have a words with Mr Augustin and he told me that in the month of october or after six month you will get M2M pack free for the next six month,but there is no such records as per your customer and even the request is fwd to concern team.
                                    You people are providing lots of frustration to customer and no one is looking in to the matter and every time you people barred my customer and whn ever i asked your company for appology no person come out and do appology.

                                    i had avtivated "caller tune" in my mobile but i am not get a quality in that. song is breaking a word. and not evnen loud.

                                    I have taken New connection in Month of Dec.08 in Mohali Pb., afterv one week Rs. 99 rupees dedected no reason after asking to customer care they told some charges without my permission, after coveincing them they had forward the requiest (N0. [protected]) 2nd Jan.09 but till then
                                    no action has been taken . Plz see other wise i will forward the comlaint to TRAI &Consumer court.

                                    The customer care is terrible. I have sent emails and had no responses.

                                    I have an outstanding issue with them currently and if not resolved in the next 24 hours I am changing service provider to another mobile number supplier.

                                    I have been 4 years with Vodaphone and I can't understand a simple request such as " Please send a copy invoice" which is urgently required for expenses pruposes could take 2 months, 6 calls, 25 emails and I am now considering emailing their Vice President Ms Frenny Bawa - Is there anyone at Vodaphone that can actually help us??
                                    i am akshay singh i have vodafone prepaid number [protected] chandigarh which is having signal problem in that but from 10th of march 2009 my caller identity is not working i have called customer care and they are telling me to submit my documents but i have submitted it before 1 year and my physical verification is made and verification report was ok now please tell me am i a fool to submit documents again and again when my verification was made ok before year they are getting promblem after a year of verification please help me out i cant go again and again for submitting my documents and this is my buisness no. and i am helpless without caller identity...

                                    VODAFONE is denying my PORTING request under flimsy grounds. They just wants to harass the customer who wants to PORT out only because VODAFON's bad service and missing network.

                                      I have asked the customer care Excutives number of times to restore the

                                      Outgoing and Incoming Services on my Number.

                                      The person in Customer Care Center told me to visit the Vodafone Stores.

                                      I had visited thrice, two times at Dharampura Bazaar Patiala Vodafone Store
