Hi this is Mrs.KavithaPremkumar, To Vodafone higher executive officer or manager, somebody can help me out with my problem, my mobile no : [protected], i have been using this number for last 7-8 months, i have activated caller tune before 2 months back later deactivated. Now two days back on 28-9-08, i have recevied a outbound call it has been activated, customer care executive told me that i have pressed some no. by mistake, i informed tat i was not using that mobile on that day, he said may be by mistake it would activated, v can't refund, i accepted finally, and i sent a message to deactivate, he was very rude in saying how to send that message, but that fellow had been activated my caller tune again yesterday on 29-9-08, and again my 50rs has been charged, from my number,
kindly check in this number i have called 3-4 times on 29-9-08, complaint has been registred, again today morning i have send message to deactivate the caller tune, customer care executives are not ready to solve our problem, or atleast to listen wat v r trying to say, and they r not waiting while taking down some no.s wat they say, they r in hurry, Pls kindly can some one help me out this problem, I[censored] can pls contact : [protected].

I've been a customer of Vodafone/Hutch/Orange for nearly a decade now. In all that time, I've never been a fan of its Customer Service, but my recent interactions since 3rd Sep 2008 have proved to be nothing short of harrasment of a customer!

On 2nd Sep, I spoke with Vodafone Customer Care requesting change of ownership on two Vodafone numbers: #1. To be changed from corporate to individual status, with a change in talk plan, and #2. To be changed from my name to my wife's name, with a change in talk plan

On both fronts, I was advised to go to the nearest Vodafone store to complete the formalities.

On 3rd Sep, I went to Vodafone Powai and met with Hamzaa, who took me through all the paperwork and asked for relevant documentation. I submitted every thing that was required o[censored]s, on both fronts, and was told that it would take 3-5 working days for the changes to happen.

Next week, when I called the Customer Helpline, there was no response except that the application is in process. Several calls followed, and each time, the response was the same, with no clarity on what was holding it up.

Subsequently, more than 10-12 days since my store visit, Hamzaa called and said that by mistake he'd not taken a signature from me on one required document, and that he would send it home for my signature so that he can put it in processing. I signed the document the very next day, after which the wait for another "3 working days" began...

Once more, several phone calls to the Customer Care followed, and each time, the application was "in process".

Finally, on 22nd Sep, when I called and spoke to Praveen Joshi, I was told that the talk plan and ownership has indeed changed, but there is no record of my applying for the SMS promotional scheme, nor the Family & Friends scheme, on either my number or my wife's. To add to my woes, I had to travel out of town between 20th and 22nd Sep, and found to my horror that my roaming was deactivated - when I'd not asked for that to happen!

I complained to Praveen, requested immediate activation of the SMS scheme on both numbers and the F&F scheme on my wife's cell, and asked for 3 things:

1. An investigation against Hamzaa in Vodafone Powai and the entire process, to determine how such a lapse in service could occur
2. A letter of apology from Vodafone for the shoddy manner in which my entire transaction had transpired, and
3. Compensation for the harrasment I've been put through

On 23rd Sep, I received SMS confirmation on the activation of the newly-requested services on both number. But, today, when I called to find out what happened about my request for an investigation and other aspects, I was told that the SMS scheme has already been active since 20th Sep, so there is no question of a complaint! Even speaking to a supervisor - Riaz Khan - elicited the same response.

I have sent this complaint as an email to the Nodal Officer and the online customer care address, giving you an opportunity to respond before I post it in a complaint forum. In spite of several days elapsed, I have not received any response from them!

Is there any one listening?

My mobile No.[protected] on which I activated two gulf calling card services of Rs.299/-. The serial No. 85962242/43 respectively. When I called in Durban by using this card, I won’t get connected to concern person. & vodafone system just debit my A/c on each call. Then I called to customer care 100 times but no positive response. Even I face same problem till addressing this letter to you. My complaint No –[protected]. I just want to know will you credit my A/c with that money which you earn just by cheated to me or not. I want my balance money of WCC in my normal Vodafone A/c.

In the month of Nov 2008, I had purchased a vodafone sim card from M/s.Jai Mata Di A-60 New Ashok Nagar, Delhi-110096 and my said mobile no is [protected]. However, a few days back somehow I have lost this sim card.I, therefore, went to the Vodafone gallery at D-Block, Cannaught Place, New Delhi to lodge a complaint as well to get duplicate sim.To my surprise, I was told that this Vodafone mobile no.is registered in somebody else's name and hence I will not be issued duplicate sim card.Then I requested that atleast this mobile number be blocked immediately to prevent any misuse by any anti-social/criminal people.I was surprised when vodafone executive told me that he can do this only when the person in whose name the said number is registered requests for.Now, I am worried that in case the said sim card number goes to some bad/anti social elements, than it can prove to be a disaster to me

My Name is Amit Thakkar. I am staying in Gurgaon. I am using a Vodafone Prepaid Connection number is [protected]. One day I received a call from Vodafone they were offering me a postpaid connection. They have some plans for Postpaid out of those I choose one plan that was 998 for Advance yearly rent and 250 for extra charges and I gave the Total money 1250 to Vodafone Guy and he has given me the Chip and receipt No is 820 on May 7, 2008 with the name of "GOTOCUSTOMER SERVICES INDIA PVT LTD". After that I got a call from Verification Dept from Vodafone. I found there were difference in the plan which I was told by Vodafone Guy earlier. I Refused to change the plan from prepaid to postpaid then I asked about my money 1250. They told me that for refund the money you have to go to Vodafone Head office JMD in Gurgaon. I told them OK. Then I went to JMD Gurgaon for my money. I met with Nikhil he has written one complaint(Complaint No SR#[protected]) and ask me to come after one month to get the money. After one month I went Again to JMD this time I met with "Abhishek". Nikhil had left the job As I received the message from Abhishek. I told to Abhishek for refund my money. Again he had given me one more complaint no that is SR#[protected] on 25/7/2008 and asked to come after one month. Now after on month nobody is responding me.

Dear Sir,

My Mbl No- is [protected] mumbai. On which i use a 2 gulf calling card serial no[protected]/43 respectively. but when i try to call in durban country. my call is not connected & only rings are went some where on which they debit my account. I called to customer care from 26th Sept but they recived my complaint on 27th Sept & just they were trying to blaim me. Even if I call without calling card then i m able to talk the concern person whom i m calling. I called to customer care 100 times but there system is worst. They cheated me by 600 Rs.

Threatening calls for invalid bill (phone number-[protected])
This is to bring into your notice that we have been receiving calls from Vivek Ranjan, an agent from legal department, who keeps threatening us to pay an unsure amount of Rs.3400 to Rs.4000.

When asked to confirm the details, we did not receive any bills so far. The number was however deactivated on April.

Till date, we have never missed any payments, all the payments have been made before the due date.
This has brought such an inconvenience to us. To resolve the matter we even asked them to waive off the invalid amount of Rs.1000, which was confirmed would never be applied in case of scheme change. though we still think the bill is too high to be paid, but just for the sake of resolution, we were ready to pay Rs.2200. Please look into the matter. We seek your help.

I PURCHSED A SIM CARD ON 07th SEPTEMBER 2008. ON 16TH SEPTEMBER, THAT NUMBER DISCONNECT. WHEN I CONTACT VODAFONE CUSTOMER CARE, THEY TOLD SOMEBODY HAS COMPLAINED FOR MISSING, THAT'SWHY WE CUT THIS NUMBER.

Vodafone has a big scam going on, they sell the coporate customers a plan called Corp FV199 that is supposed to have Rs. 1.00/min as STD rates as per the literature that is provided but the plan is activated with Rs. 1.5/min rate.
If by chance you are smart enough to check the traiff plan that you have the only way to get it corrected is to write to an email ID and then keep following up. When they finally do it they make it effective from the date that they act on your request and not retrospect.
The worst part is that seems they are themselves aware of this but wait for the customer to raise an issue on this.
Really pathetic behaviour from one of the worlds largest telecom players.
I had to go through this experience twice once for myself and once for my wife. I took to connections with a gap of 1 week in between, had I known this I would have never signed up.

I have received new Vodofone connection (new sim card connection) Mobile number [protected] from local dealer Chennai, India during August 2008.
From the day one, I am receiving a lot of calls for requiring services of VINAYAKA TRAVELS. I am tired of explaining them that it is a personal number and NOT VINAYAKA TRAVELS. That too, during week ends, it becomes continuous calls from different places and attending the calls becomes ……….

CAN YOU ALLOT ME A NEW NUMBER WITH THE CREDIT AVAILABLE IN THIS NUMBER TO SORT OUT THE PROBLEMS?

I am already fed up with the signal of Vodafone. Previously I had Airtel and it was 5/5 bars on my Ericsson cell...and now it is never 5/5...Call gets cut with "Network Problem" popup and it happens many many many times...There are several complaints regarding Vodafone signal strength and donno why the company is neglecting it...They say that the no. o[censored]sers has increased so there is "Network Congestion";so wat, thats company's problem, they need to do something for it, we consumers are facing hell here...I think its high time and company shud do something for it

with due respect I assert I m using your post paid connection with a phone number [protected] having a plan i.e. 333 talk time and on 5.08.2008 . I decided to change my connection from postpaid to prepaid. so in this regard I visited yr stored the same day where I was told by one of your sales executive named Mr. sagar that instead of converting into prepaid . I should go a plan called all @ one wherein all my calls either lacal and std will be charged @ rs.1 . per min.And beside that a facility of 2000 sms per month will be provide free of cost .

but as per the bill sent to me from your end all the messages has been charged in this regard.

I am a vodafone kerala customer. I had to shift to Karnataka. So I went to vodafone office
in Calicut city, Kerala on Aug 31st (sunday)
and informed them that I need to cancel the vodafone connection. They told me that I could not cancel the connection on that day because my billing date is on 22nd and they given me a cancellation form and told me to bring it on sept 23rd, with the hands of some one else.(because I will be in Karnataka).
Today (sept 23rd) my father went to the same vodafone office and given the cancellation form along with bill amount but they rejected saying that they need some other form.
I told my Father if they are not ready to cancel the connection, don't pay the bill and come back.

This is the real form of cheating!

This is to inform you that today it was shock when my female friend recieved a call from phone number [protected] by the name Mohinder. Mohinder call my friend and started abusing her in such bad way that any decent person will just cry with out any fault of her. He was asking my phone number as i was unable to pay my bill because of bad phase in my business, but if you check my relation with your company you will realise that wether i can be a defaulter or not.
But this is very dissapointing to know such practice from your company that your guys calling a third party and sharing my personal details to get the payment and on top of it if the person does not share someone privacy your guys abuse like" bahen ki lodi, teri maa ki choot and more" and to a person who is graduated from IIM institute... thats a shame and very bad practice to be honest. I called up that guy and asked him for what you were abusing her then he told me i shall talk to Mr. Uday Pratap singh at [protected], I called up this guy he turned out to be a lawyer but a decent one after that I paid the money even in a bad situation as i thought vodafone gundas do not call her up again but how can some can take my call details and share with anyone and call those people on my details. I am going to write this email to all of your top corporate heads and international heads.
I will also forward this email to many other sources so that if some strict action is not taken against such acts i might go to cunsumer court for sure.

When ever I switch on my mobile phone Rs. 2 is automatically charged from my main balance. I talked to the customer care but they are very much reluctant to the problem and they just passed it by saying its a problem from nokia since I am using a nokia handset.

I was getting lots and lots of wrong calls to my vodafone number. I change many new numbers from the same provider itself but don't know whether because of network congesstion I was getting lot of wrong numbers and if i call someone it will land to someother number. So finally i have changed the provider.
