[Resolved] Voltas Ac — CHARGING MONEY IN WARRANTY

I have bought Vertis VOLTAS 2 ton split AC from "DHURIA AND CMPANY 169 RED SQUARE MARKET HISSAR". Within a few time, i have a problem in its cmpressor. On complaining to same, he did not respond for many days and on calling again, he is asking for Rs 4000 to change the compressr Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers? rgds jitender deewan [protected] [protected] Was this information helpful? Yes I agree. My AC had some issues and voltas diagnosed that compressor needs replacement. Though my 1 Year AC warranty just expired, compressor is still with in the 5 year warranty. The dealer has quoted Rs.4600 for expenses such as gas recharge + labour + i dont know what else.

This came as a rude shock. I managed to talk to someone at Voltas too. But he also reflected the same views as that of dealer and mentioned I have to bear other incidental charges.

So guys BEWARE.. 5 years warranty for compressor - is all marketing gimmick.. And even Voltas, a TATA company isnt fair.. I am very disappointed to know I am cheated by a marketing gimmick..
