[Resolved] Voltas Air Conditioners — Poor After Sales Service | |||
We have purchased 8 Voltas air conditioners from M/s. City Aircons one of the dealers of Voltas Products in Chennai. We have also taken service contract with them for 4 of them and rest of them are under warranty. The installation was not done properly and the owner never wants to listen to us and every time we call them he uses uncultured words abuse us and disconnect the telephone. We registered a compliant with Voltas Mumbai office and they assured us that they will ask their Chennai branch to call us and resolve the issue. So far nothing happened. i had no major faults, water dropping is not unusual, but within a year, the service dogs comes to us and says your free service is pending, and he will remove a filter cover which gets dusted often, that may be cleaned by a 5 year old kid even if he could climb. bull , he took my AC for free water service, and while he returned he made me pay for the to and fro charges, and Rs.450 for water service. Product is good but ther service is very worst. Service is for their money alone and not for customer redressal or satisfaction. this is my last purchase of any of the Tata Product.

VOLTAS AIR CONDITIONER — poor service after sales
i made complaint of my air conditioner which stopped working after 4 months of purchase, to customer care of voltas on september 8th 2010, person came on same day to correct the problem and taken away defective pcb with 2 day assurance that ac will work normal, after that i made several reminder calls and wrote emails and register complaint on feedback option of company website, there was no positive response from company ecxept vacation mail and never complete assurance that problem will be rectified within a day or two.these people are making fool of customer by saying different captions like commitment to people etc....
i have talked to even escalation team of voltas but there was no solution except the "never completed assurance".
please help me to make this company no to do such things in future and i want to proceed for a legal action against them, lemme know the procedure please.
