[Resolved] Voltas Vertis Split Ac (1 Ton Capacity) — Faulty services and attempt to cheat | |||
In 2008 I Purchased Voltas AC at my home. Both my 1 ton Votas Vertis Split AC are sparsely used and are being serviced (during the warranty period and there after for 1 year by AMC) by M/s. Vikas Enterprises. Last year one of my remote was not working due to leakage of battery and was repaired by M/s. Vikas Ent. for Rs.600. Ever since the remote was not working well. This year since the services provided by them were not to my satisfaction I was requesting them to have a look at the placements of AC so that they can be serviced better. In the mean time one of the ACs developed a leakage and on request M/s. Vikas Ent sent a two mechanics who while repairing the leak broke the locking pin of the lid of blower part of the split AC. Because of the unexperienced mechanics who come for the services I decided not to use M/s. Vikas for the further services. In the mean time both my remote stopped working. I lodged a compalint with your 1800 number. 2 mechanics from M/s. RPM services came. I allowed them to take only one remote for repair. This was done as per their service report no. 6505 dtd. 06/05/2010. Today (i.e. on 08/05/2010) the mechanics came to my house with 2 remotes. Their claim was since my remote was unrepairable they are supplying me with the new remote. Saying this they produced my original remote (which was in very good condition) claiming it to be the new remote and an old remote with pen marking on all buttons saying that was my old remote. While questioning that my remote was in pristine condition why the marks, i was told they put marks on the buttons to identify them (surprisingly they does not seem to have heard about labels). Mr. Lad, I threw both of them out of my house with both the remotes and sat down writing to you about the matter. What surprises me is that when some one comes to Voltas it is with the belief that it is a TATA company and thus most reliable. How can your service providers send the so called mechanics who instead of repairing the units end up damaging it. How can one trust a company whose service providers try and cheat their customers. I do not even know what to do with my AC.As i can not trust none of your service providers only choice left is to get rid of Voltas AC and go for some other brand. Yet if Voltas ( A TATA company) can not provide good services who else can? I have already placed complaint with one M.r Nandkumar Lad of Voltas without any response. With Best Regards, M. H.
