Vriti Infocom Pvt Ltd — Useless company, Pathetic service, Fraudsters

I asked for a Tata Photon Data Card from Vriti Infocom Pvt Ltd, NOIDA , which was delivered to me on 28.02.2011. I submitted the money along with my photograph and copy of I card which the agent said was mandatory When I asked the man who came to deliver this to show me the company ID proof he did not have it. I asked to speak to the marketing person, Rituraj who had talked to me earlier. Rituraj said that this man was only a delivery boy so he did not have any ID card.

I next asked him to activate the data card. I was informed by the delivery person that it would be activated only after 2 hours. After 4 hours when I tried to activate it, I found to my dismay that it still had not been activated. I called up Rituraj, who did not respond to my calls. I made numerous calls on his mobile for 2 more days but he did not answer these calls nor did he callback. When I called on their landline number I was informed that either he was on leave or on field. I left messages for him to call back still there was no response.

I then called the Tata photon call centre, who logged my complaint (no[protected] and informed me that I would get a resolution within 48 hours.

I next visited the service centre mentioned in the Olive service centre manual provided to me. These people told me that the device was faulty and needed to be replaced. I returned and called the call centre who informed me that the services had not been activated as the agency had not forwarded my papers to them and was told to call the agency. Patiently I explained that they are not responding to my calls. My details and those of the agency were taken and I was told they would get this resolved. This time I did receive a call from one of their agents, Ankit, who tried to troubleshoot. But the device did not respond. The phone got disconnected (or was disconnected?). I tried calling back on his mobile number and agency's landline number but there was no response.

Four days after payment, I am still without a connection and feeling extremely frustrated. Nor only have I lost a lot of time but also mental peace, not to mention my money.

WILL SOMEONE ADDRESS THIS COMPLAINT URGENTLY SINCE I AM SURE THIS IS NOT A DIFFICULT PROBLEM TO ADDRESS AND RELIEVE ME OF MY STRESS. COULD AN AGENT COME OVER AND HELP ME INSTAL THE DEVICE? ELSE PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY!!!!
