Sir, let me introduce myself to you, I am Professor P.B.Joshi working, since 1982, in the department of Mechanical Engineering, S.D.M. College of Engineering, Dharwad, Karnataka. I taught Automobile Engineering Subject many times to Engineering Graduate Students of Vishveswaraya Technological University, Karnataka. I know all types of suspension systems like McPherson, Strut type Independent suspension, Wishbone type of suspension etc. With this small introduction, i wish to say that, I purchased Maruti Wagon-R Duo vehicle in the year Oct-2009. From the day of purchase, my vehicle had some problem with front suspension. When the suspension system bounce back after passing over a speed breaker, the suspension system makes a loud impact like sound. When this problem was noticed, immediately i contacted the dealer, Shantesha Motors, Belgaum for rectification. The same complaint was informed to you through e-mail about 6 months back. In response to this, the representative of dealer rushed to my office and took the vehicle for repairs. However after one or two days days, the problem has continued. The same complaint was registered by me during 1st, 2nd & 3rd servicing also. Still the problem continues to exist. The mechanic says that this type of sound is common in all Wagon-R vehicles. If this is true, i suggest your R&D department to redesign the front suspension, because i am the user of four wheelers since 20 years, and i have not seen any such type of faulty suspension in my service.
I Kindly request you to check my vehicle(through your dealer) suspension & change the McPherson struts(2 numbers) immediately. My Vehicle is under 3 yrs extended warranty. Was this information helpful? |
