[Resolved]  Wagon-R Lxi — Bad technicians for service

Regarding: Maruti Wagon-R LXI Reg. no. MH - 43 / R – 4797
Subject: Bad Service Management

Dear Sir,

The above vehicle was purchased by our company on 11th April 2008 from Vitesse Pvt. Ltd. Worli, Mumbai 400 018. This vehicle has dual options of fuel, LPG and petrol.

I had given my car for service on 12.02.2008 at your authorized centre M/s Sarayu Investments Pvt. Ltd., Prabhadevi for routine service. (Can check records for jobs carried)

After this service the car started back firing when driven using LPG. So, we sent it back to the works at Prabhadevi on 25.02.2008. The workshop deduced that to fix the problem ‘air filter’ had to be replaced and they did so under the warranty.

On receiving the car the problem continued and it had to be sent back to the works on 28.02.2008. This time they thought the ‘igniters’ were not functioning well and they replaced the same under warranty and assured me that the problem will not be repeated.

Following which the car was sent for a long journey to Saurashtra, that’s where our business is. From Mumbai to Saurashtra the trip was smooth but while returning to Mumbai on 08.03.08 (20 kms before Navsari) the temperature indicator was higher than the normal, then by opening the radiator we discovered that there was no coolant water in it.

We contacted the nearest authorized service centre in Navsari (Kataria Automobiles Ltd.) in consultation to my regular service advisors (M/s Sarayu Investments Pvt. Ltd. Prabhadevi, Mumbai) & discovered that other than the coolant water there was no engine oil inside the engine as a result of which the car broke down.

After we received the car from M/s Kataria Automobiles Ltd. We found the drive was not smooth at all and on the advice of Mr. Colin Pareira, Sevice manager at /s Sarayu Investments Pvt. Ltd., Prabhadevi and we left the car with him for atleast a weeks time to get all the issues resolved and make it a smooth running car as it always has been.

After all this, the car functions as bad. We feel that either there is lack of proper detection of problems or on detection the workmanship is poor or negligent in handling it. Even earlier when the car was sent to service with a complaint of clutch not working, the car had to be sent twice and ultimately the parts like pressure/clutch plates were replaced under warranty.

We would like to bring to your notice that it is extremely inconvenient to send the car time and again to your service station located at Prabhadevi since the user of the car Mr. Yogesh Agarwal resides at Malad and drives it up to Carnac Bunder (Masjid) everyday. Besides, he also uses the car for outstation trips mainly to Gujarat and Mahrashtra.

You may check the records as well as the attached bills of service and we are quite sure that you will agree that we deserve a refund of the amounts paid for repetitive jobs at Kataria Automobiles Ltd. & Vitesse Pvt. Ltd. (totaling to Rs.9351/-.) to state the least.

Note: Currently also the car had traveled to Gujrat and the problem of overheating persists when AC running in stand still position.

Wagon-R Lxi — Mileage

I have bought the Wagon-R in Dec 05. Initially i got good milage and afterwords its decline to 10 kmpl. I have launged complain to kataria savaral times at Ahmedabad but the resoluation has not come yet. They are only insisting the service and replacement of parts and lubricant.

THE DEALER REFUSES TO GIVE THE 1 GRAM GOLD COIN THAT WAS PUBLISHED IN LEADING DAILIES, ON PURCHASE OF MY CAR.
KINDLY ADDRESS THE MATTER TO AVOID LIGITAL ACTION.
