[Resolved]  Videocon D2H — Warranty on Picture tube

Dear Sir,
I have bought the tv with the following details
Brand - Videocon
Model - Jumbo
Size - 34"
Purchased on - June 2008
Scheme – Get plasma after three years (I have not got the bond instead of it I have taken cash discount of Rs. 7000)
Dealer - Umiya Electonics, Vishwakrma Shopping, Gandhinagar,
Residential Address - Ranijt Thakor, Plot no 584/2, Sector - 4/C, Gandhinagar, Gujarat - India,

The problem started after six month of date of purchase the exact problem was I was not satisfied with the colours. The technician reverted my complain and done something in it and charged me Rs. 450.00, without any negotiation I have given the same even though the television was under the warranty as I was getting prompt solution.
Now after one and half year of purchase again got the same problem I have called the vendor again and told him to fix it up. He told me to register complain on the tollfree number I have done the same they have taken the tv to the service center after visit of a technician. I was shocked when they given me estimate of Rs. 4800 + transportation, for replacing the picture tube as per them the problem was with the picture tube. When I have told them that there is a warranty of 5 years on picture tube, they denied and told me that the warranty I can avail only if I purchase the bond.
My points are:
1. The television required the warranty not the bond.
2. The warranty card doesn’t reflect the warranty of picture tube which is in advertisement.
3. There was no communication either verbal or written that I will not get the benefit of warranty on picture tube which is for five years.
4. Please refer to my complain numbers (which has done nothing to me) : [protected], [protected], [protected] The first six digit reflects the dd/mm/yy so there is needless to say that this matter is pending from march from the company which harassed me a lot during this time.
My request :
Immediate (within 4 working days) replacement of the above said picture tube without any charges.

Further, I would like to quote an incident it might not relevant to you but even though I would like to share……when this problem was going on I have contacted the Dealer from whom I have purchased the tv when I ask about any exchange he offered me Rs. 2500 for 34”jumbo, when I crossed check the rates with other dealer I got to new that he is charging me Rs. 3500 more then the market rate….so the smart dealer can get the tv in free and additional profit of Rs. 1000 (apart from his routine benefit), Those who are in gandhinagar and planning to buy electronic goods from Umiya Electronics , Be careful from this smart dealer. I do not want others to suffer like I have.

My future Plan :
If I am not getting any reply with in 3 working days and course of action with in next seven working days I am going to court with this matter. This is not the issue of Rs. 4800 (it doesn’t matters me a lot) but the matter is about the harassment mentally.
