[Resolved]  White Tiger Drycleaners — Damaged Items

Dear All / concerned,

I am a resident of Vasant Kunj since the begining. We have never in our life faced this kind of service from any dry cleaner which we have faced this time with the Brand like White Tiger Dry-cleaners, Vasant Kunj.

When you have clothes or other items dry cleaned, the dry cleaning must be:-

• carried out with reasonable care and skill. This means that the articles should be cleaned properly and not damaged; and
• finished in a reasonable time, unless a specific time has been agreed. This would normally mean within a few days, unless the delay was due to circumstances outside the dry cleaner's control; and
• provided at a reasonable cost, unless a definite price has been agreed.


Following was observed by Ajay, Dharmender (staff of WhiteT., Vasant Kunj) & my family after the Dry-cleaning :-

* We had given the clothes to White Tiger, Vasant Kunj Outlet for the Dry-cleaning of winter clothes but none of the clothes are perfectly dry-cleaned. Either they have been Faded, or they have been Stained, items have Threads Pulled, items are Washed & Spoilt, clothes still have Dirt Stains, clothes have Become Weak, items are Poorly cleaned. White Tiger, Vasant Kunj has damaged the items given for Dry-cleaning.

* We had given the clothes on 2nd April 2010 & expected & promised delivery date was on 6th April 2010, but it was delivered on 10th April 2010.

Clothes which were White in color have turned to dust brown color. The Brand Name " White Tiger" itself has not justified its Name on white clothes.

Moreover, i am attaching the document signed by the staff of White Tiger, Vasant Kunj ( Mr. Ajay & Mr. Dhermender) stating the state of clothes after drycleaning, who had observed the deterioration in the clothes after getting the drycleaning done on each cloth.

I am also attaching for you to see the pics of few clothes which were taken before & after the dry-cleaning from White Tiger Vasant Kunj. (this we generally keep for most of the clothes before packing them for the next season)

Would like to bring to your notice & would like to complaint against the Manager ( Mr. Manish ) who is heading the branch, that he has never picked his cell phone from day one. This is very disgusting attitude of the employees & system.

I need the refund for the damages & spoiling of the clothes.

I have not got any help from Parul Mendiratta ( Manager- Brand and Customer Care) [parul.[protected]@whitetigernet.com] & Rajeev Sekhri (Vice-President)[rajeev.[protected]@whitetigernet.com] who is runnung the show in the name of Dhrov India Ltd.

They have not even sent the Quality Manager to check the clothes as they don't have Quality or Audit Manager with Visiting Card.

When you did not call on Tuesday for the morning appointment of Wednesday & had called on Wednesday 10:30am saying that you had forgotten to give a call, as you were busy in some training of staff, I had adjusted my schedule for today (Thursday) but that too of no use as you had not heard me properly over the telecon.

In-spite of my telling you, to send the Manager from Quality with Visiting Card, ID Proof & Claim Form, you had sent Asstt. Mngr. - Trainee, without Visiting Card, & Claim Form, which i had specified over the telecon.

When you yourself specified in your mail that the "quality" "team" would be coming, you had sent only one person that too a Trainee. Is one person a team in your sense?

I have sent him back without letting him check the garments as he was not carrying what was informed to you & also because he was a "Trainee".

Now without delay, i want you to send the Quality Manager with all the 3 things - Visiting Card, ID Proof & Claim Form tomorrow(Friday, April 30th) at 10:00 AM.

I am not at all happy with the kind of justification which you are giving.

I have not seen the garments but you are telling me that there is a slight difference still after reprocessing. Why should i compromise on the slightest difference. Do you compromise on Quality.

Moreover, in-spite of my informing you before hand that the Garments need not be reprocessed without my consent, but you did so and now justifying that there is a slight difference in the color. I knew you would justify by your statements, thats why i did not give consent for reprocessing the same.

I don't want any justification for even a minutest difference. I had given the Garments to White Tiger for Dry-cleaning & not for giving justification for the garments & not getting processed up to the mark.

I am not here to take any crap with regards to clothes. Difference in the Color, Look, Feel, Texture, Bounce & Appeal in the cloth might not make a big difference to you but it does make a difference to me.

I need the refund for the damages & spoiling of the clothes which i am asking since beginning for which you are trying to justify.

i've had same exprience in new friends colony centre of white tiger dry cleaning. my clothes were stained, faded and i was told the only refund i can get is of vouchers to reuse their dry cleaning services. i mean why would i resue their services? and one refund which they agreed to do has not been done for over 8 months now, and this parul has treated me excatcly the same way. we need to sue them actually.
I am a regular customer of White Tiger. Today I was free and just came from market after giving my clothes to white tiger and at home I just clicked the white tiger website and came to know about bad side of white tiger and surprised to hear the complaints and scared of my clothes which i just send today to white tigers.such a irresponsive attitude is not acceptable of Customer care manager .i.e.of Parul.Any way i will think what further to send my clothes to white tiger.

If mr. Malhotra of Vasant kunj is satisfied with your refund or other substitute kindly inform the same to keep my confidence in White Tiger.

I am a resident of Vaishali, GHaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. You have a outlet at Vaishali, Sector -IV Near Shopprix Mall. I have been your very old customer for last 8 yrs.

I had given my 'A PAIR OF PURE SILK CLOTHS' for dry cleaning which was very costly for me in the month of November, 2011. When I went to collect my cloths back then I got to know that one part of my cloth was missing . The person in charge of that outlet asked me to wait for 3 months as he said that during winter lot many cloths have been dumped to wash so once it is cleared you will get back your cloth. According to his statement I waited for 3 months and in the month of April finally he told me that it got lost so we will give you money back and I was asked to fill -up a 'claim form'. I had filled up that form and now its been 3 months I have been calling up Mr. Prem who is in charge of customer care and there is no reply.I have been following your outlet everyday and each time they ask me to connect Mr.Prem and no result is found.

This is very disappointed that brand like 'White Tiger' is so much careless about their old clients. I Would like to bring to your notice and to media also & would also like to complaint against the Manager who is heading the branch of Noida and Mr.Prem in charge of customer care, that he has never picked his cell phone from day one. This is very disgusting attitude of the employees & system of 'WhiteTiger'. You seriously have no care at all for your clients. Nobody is ready to reply about my lost .

I need the refund for the damages as soon as possible as i can not wait for any more day as its already been a long time.
