[Resolved]  WP-Online Sports SVCS London — Credit Card billed for a service I did not use

I had given WP online sports 4.99 GBP for a one month subscription for LUTV.
29/12/08 and have only just noticed the debit of my account each month there after.
I have notified my bank as there is no obvious way of speaking to WP directly re: product purchased!

Garth, the LUTV terms and conditions do state that the LUTV subscription is a recurring monthly charge, so unless you canceled the rolling subscription prior to a second payment date then I doubt you have a valid complaint.

i paid for this for one month. as a trial period and not impressed to see charge on visa bill.!!!

I have been for ages trying to work out what I was paying for.

I have never used the services of wp online sports yet they have billed me for a service i have never used or wanted if anyon can foward me their e-mail address i would be gratefull.

i have just found that they have been taking 4.99 from my HSBC Visa for the last 5 months. i had never heard of them before i seen their name on my statement. i immediately reported suspicious activity and got the card stopped. i now have different details and therefore they can't take anymore!

You are charging me money every month for nothing. Stop stealing my money and return my money please

It's streaming for Sky Sports. I live in Sweden and it's been taken out of my account. I have, to my knowledge, never opened an account with them so the only way to cancel it is to cancel my card!!!

I am being charged by WP-Online Sports SVCS on an annual basis - in my case it is for Arsenal TV Online

I too gave permission for one month as a trial period, but that was 5 months ago, I contacted my bank who said that as it was a card payment they could not stop it. How can I stop this payment being stolen yes STOLEN from my account?

I have just realised that these payments have been stolen out of my account for, as far as I can see, since last December. I did not know whether this was a payment I had made a few months ago when I first noticed, because I assumed it was just a one off. When I look at my account today, the payment had been made again, and I checked all my statements dating back to then, and realised that I had had the money stolen for at least that long! I know that I never subscribed, even for a month's trial, because I am not in any way a football fan, or a sports fan of any form for that matter, but like that matters to these criminals! I can assure you I WILL make sure something is done about this, I am actually fuming over this pathetic money taking sham!

WP-Online Sports SVCS London — credit card payment

can some please tell me why this company can take 3.99 a month of me and i dont even no wot iam getting for it

The same problem here. But I just realised it and thank God it was just the second stealing from them. What i just did is go to your respective bank and ask them to block your credit/debit card. You'll get a new one with a new account no, and new pin in no time.

This is the only solution to stop them from stealing our money again. But the problem is they might get our acc and pin no from our previous purchased. So be extra careful in providing your credit/debit card information to any of the online company and dont forget to make a note to whom you give your info.

WP Online Sports London — Taking Payments

I signed up to LUTV and the payment was to be made to WP-Online Sports London. After a month I was unable to access LUTV on my computer so I cancelled the service. WP-Online sports London are still taking money out of may account.

I don't know, is happening to me aswell, long after I cancelled.
