[Resolved] www.eBay.in — defective micromax phone | |||||
Dear Sir, I have purchased A micromax canvas a 116 phone from ebay using my debit card on 29th july 2013.I was given paisa pay id [protected], item id[protected] from ebay id vs_bhati) I received the item on on 3rd aug 2013. When I started to use the phone it suddenly went switch off.In just two days o[censored]se it went switch off several times.Therefore i removed sim card and discarded it. I raised a refund/ replacement claim on 5 th aug 2013 at the customer care of ebay and was given a claim no.255639.The ebay resolution center advertise that all the item purchased through online money transfer covered under 100% ebay guarantee.If the product comes with mall function and defect ebay will help to replace the same from seller or refund the entire money.But in this case both the seller and ebay is asking me to contact service center of micromax whereas ebay promised on its website that it gives us guarantee of replacement or refund. The customer care representatives are not responding in proper way, they are pretending and and spoiling my time. If a product is defective than it should be replaced or the money should be refunded. Ebay india breached the promise it gives to the customer and despite paying full amount in advance I was cheated. please help in this matter, otherwise i will have to lodge a complaint in distt. consumer forum or lodge an fir against ebay and the seller in the nearby police station.
