Yeah, it's pretty bad. As of the past few days, they now no longer provide any phone support for questions about their products. They refer you to their website FAQ's. I want to be included in their business directory and they're asking for $300/year. I emailed them to request a rep to call me to explain to me the benefits. After all, if I'm going to spend that kind of money in this business climate, I expect to speak with someone who can tell me why I'm paying what I'm paying. I got an email response and they told me to check their FAQs. When I emailed back insisting someone call if they were going to ask for that much money, someone from the billing department emailed me the toll free number for the billing department. Huh???
Again, considering the recession and Yahoo's financial situation, you would think they would want business. Apparently they don't care. If they go out of business, I won't be shedding any tears. It seems they're headed down this path.

I'm the Director of Knoesis Technology Solutions which tried to work with Yahoo small business for designing and developing customized web sites fro their clients and hence I know how Yahoo small business is fooling its customers. They have a very in efficient sales executive who know nothing about internet and web site particularly. Their technical team is based in South India so any one having technical queries need to call them. Moreover the Content management system (CMS) which allows you to create web sites on your own does not work effectively. I've designed few web sites for them (www.emufarming.org and www.paritaexports.com) and while doing so, using their templates and CMS, I experienced too much difficulty. I thought designing the web site using hand coding was better, It took me 36-40 hours to develop each web sites of just 6-8 pages.
The staff at Yahoo-Ezee call is very unreliable. They registered one of their clients domain name incorrectly and then refused to correct it, though it was their fault, they registered weathercoolservices.com where as the client required weathercoolservice.com. This client was duped earlier by Ezee call of Rs. 10, 000/-. When this client (Mr. Naeem A.K) asked for a refund they hurriedly registered this domain name and promised to refund the balance amount which never accord. Inspite of all this miss doings by Yahoo they sent us to this client where the client and his brothers confiscated my colleagues laptop, which they returned only after receiving email from yahoo that they will get the balance amount, however even after 45 days the client did not receive the refund and they have sorted legal action.
They do not have any designers working for them on pay role and still they promise clients that they can deliver customizes web sites. Please do not fall to their pray.
What Yahoo provides at Rs. 2000/- Google provides for free, free web templates at sites.google.com, all you need is to register domain and change setting to your domain to get personalized business web sites. I hope this will help or contact me webmaster at knoesis dot in ([protected]@knoesis.in).
