This is to inform you about the problems that I am encountering after purchasing your company product. I brought Yamaha R15 [engine number - 20PI004052] four months ago on July 28, 2008 and I am completely dissatisfied with its services. Initially, the bike's radiator started leaking just within a week of its purchase. And in these four months I have visited the showroom more than 20 times as the bike comes up with a new problem every now and then. Also, its windshield has become loose and vibrates alarmingly while driving.
The salesperson and the showroom manager have not attended to my complaints. The engineer always backs off by saying that he has sent an e-mail to the company and will receive a response in a day or two. And now its almost a month since I have been waiting for a response. On top of it, he has now stopped receiving my phone calls, which is really irritating. The showrooms back here in Agra simply sell the products and provide a pathetic after-sales service. I am truly disappointed with the services and also they are not what I expected from a renowned company like Yamaha.
Now its been a month since they are testing my patience and its finally high-time that my complaints are attended to by the company itself, least you want me to take a legal action against the situation.
I hope you understand the gravity of the situation and take an appropriate action immediately.

Hi,

I purchased Yahama bike before 18 months. I had given all the services to YMIS. In past these 18 month 2 times battery will replaced and now they saying about chain sprakit set only yamaha graldiator chain sparkit is capable for only 18000 km. So they want to replace the sprakit with charges . I need the clarification about this. As per you manual book not mentioned about chain sprakit like spark pluk for every 10000 km.

I have a yamaha R 15, this is my third yamaha motorcycle. As this bike is more tech advanced than my previous Rx 100s it requires more care and a good after sales service which the dealers somehow fail to provide in the case of this particular bike. First i ordered a few accessories and the dealers said it would take about a week for those to be delivered but these took a month to reach me. The radiator of the bike has developed a leakage on its own, if i order a new one it will cost me 12, 000 rupees and would most probably take a month to reach me.Which means that the bike will not be in use for a month, secondly as the bike is still under guarantee/warranty the company should change it free of cost but that would probably take an year and a lot of bickering. If someone from yamaha reads this forum would u please start taking more notice of the customers rather than pampering or sucking up to your dealers.Legal action would be my next step.
I bought my R15 on June 29th 08'. And I feel Yamaha has given us a great bike but the service center guys are doing a pathetic job. I really hope Yamaha conducts a small workshop and teach the owners about basic servicing as I am seriously pissed off with the SS guys. My bike vibrates a lot and am hearing tappet noise for the past 6000 kms and no service center in Hyderabad has been able to fix it. I guess for them the servicing means just changing the oil and cleaning the bike. I also hope Yamaha opens some company owned Workshops around the city with some good mechanics. I am really not satisfied with the current Yamaha Service Centers in Hyderabad.

Yamaha R15 — bike not starting

i purchased the yamaha r15 bike 3 days back. and i m already facing problems with it. the bike failed to start this morning. the fuel-tank is half full. no ideas what to do.greatly disappointed.

hey my friend too faced a same problem. the red button on ur right handle bar. switch off & on again nd again and thn the bike starts. nd once the bike starts i suggest dont touch the red button. switch off the engine wit the key. cas i gets vry dissapointing whn the bike doesnt start in hurry.
i bought a yamaha r15 before 6 months . Before 2 days the fibre part near the engine below the petrol tank litrally started burning when the stopped on d signal.ma younger brother was riding it.den he parked d bike on side n sprinkled water on it n started throwing sand on it.n the people standing wer callin fire brigade.its a very big issue.it was a matter of life.n ur dealer in nasik is not at all responding at all.i need a quick solution.
i don want to use the bike . wats d use of payin a huge amount n it starts burning . pls refund my money n i dont dis bike at all .

i recently buy a yamaha r15 (black).after 1 month i saw a strange problm in my bike....my r15 bike's handle doesn't match with my r15 bike's visar....i m very much upset....

ok i have read all dese complaints and seriously sayin 1st of all u complainers dnt kno hw write proper engilsh...so hw cn ul judge the condition od ur bikes...and the problem is not with ur bikes the problem is with u all...or it may be bad luck that some defected part of the engine is on ur bike...and also the problem is not with yamaha the problem is with the dealers and workshops u r dealing with in ur town or city which shows how irresponsible the dealers r in ur place...i own a yamaha r15, and wen i take it for its services i sit der and mke sure that evrything is being dne acording to the way it has to be dne...so i request u people with ur complaints that please do not blame the company because the company makes these bikes for sale...but its up to ul to first do ur research on the bike dnt just go and buy the bike just becoz it is a sporty lokin bike...and a bike with such a high price tag should be carefully judged before purchase...il will be buying a ninja 250 bt first i hve to do my research on it, wat are the pros and cons of the bike, how will it perform under my riding conditions, etc...so i hope u all get 2 read my mesage...and plz change ur attitude wid dese complaints ul r posting

This is a complaint against "Yamaha YZF-R15 bike Rear Tyre issues"
The purchase date of my Bike "Yamaha YZF-R15" was 06/02/2011.
My complaint is that, According to company structure my bike having Tubeless tyres, but within 20days, i was found bubling in rear tyre in just 5th days, but now i found 1inch screw in Rear Tyre in 980 kms run & gave the bike to the service center for 1st servicing on 20/2/2011.

According to Service executive, its Yamaha company manufacture fault in tyres, so i unable to help you for the same. IN customer point of view, i don't know how can i facing this issue, my bike is not useful for me in this conditions.


That was my first experience with "Yamaha" family. as a proof i got evidences on undone work written back side by the service people with signature and date. I need a strong answer from the "Yamaha India" company for that unsatisfactory work and I demand compensation for wasting my precious time & money. I need one new tyres for my bikes as well as an positive answer.
If i do not get proper response from the concern, I will be bound to knock The respectable Indian Constitution. The brief details of my bike & service issues are given below.

Yamaha R15 — starter relay assy

i bought anew registered r15 within three days i have to face a serious situation the stater relay assy including the whole electrical circuts has damaged burst out and now when the ignition is on the bike is totaly dead i trusted on yamaha services ,but now i fell shame on yamaha (international company)
Have u driven ur bike without the battery? Or was it low on charge?
Yamaha India should have their own trained mechanic in the Yamaha authorised show room. Most of the mechanic in the Yamaha showroom are not properly trained or they end up screwing the bike and this is not good for Yamaha as well as for the owner who trust this Yamaha show room and hand in their bikes. Please YAMAHA, have a trained mechanic in your authorised show rooms who have to wear YAMAHA authorised Badge to do a service of the bike...how can we trust this SS???????????? do YAMAHA wants one time customer????? Do the showroom really care for selling Yamaha???? Yamaha have given a good bike...but what about good service...hope Yamaha India do justice to all the R15 bikers who trust and give their bikes for services under the warranty period...

the service of yamaha sucs. i'v gave my yamaha r15 to the service centre 10days before for repalcing some parts and they said i'll get the bike done after 2 days but till now m not getting the positive responce from service centre (malad). m really disappoint with their behaviour n i'v didn't expected this kind of behaviour with this type of international brand n world's leading bike company.

Faulty wiring.
I purchased a R15 Model Bike at amount of Rs.1320000/- on Last 10th April 2014 from Tinsukia Showroom (Eng. No-G3C7E0001352), Axis Motors, Tinsukia. But I am very unsatisfied with the performance of the Bike in terms of frequent failure and maintenance costing within very short time period from the date of purchase. I have already invested huge amount in the name of repairing of engine block, block piston, crank shaft, sockabsorber and various engine accessories. Now I have become fed with dealers in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh for not attending my complaint for the Bike. The Bike is lying in aforesaid dealers for long time. It is very regretted to say that I am completely dis-satisfied with performance of the Bike from the date of purchase of the same and I have not found any comfort for purchasing of Yamaha Bike except wasting of money in the of repairing of the Bike.

Still the Bike is lying in the dealer at Dibrugarh and no any response is found from them.

Same problem for me also. Bike stops suddenly. It shows the engine light on. And vehicle stops responding. It's having lots of issues. I purchased vehicle from Nagpur tejsree motors. By a third party agent swastic Yamaha at malkapur. Buldana dist. The bike is giving complaint from the third month of purchase. They are not able to solve the issue. Always they take for repairing after one week other problem. They are not having proper service person they are taking for daily wages. One time relay, 3 chalk, switch. They are telling its all electrical part.then one time orange light will show engine. Next day red light the last one its more that 7 months they are not able to solve the issue. They are telling it will have complaint. One time if you want to start the vehicle you need to hit the back seat side fibre inorder to start the vehicle. When engine switch is off also the vehicle will start. If this goes like this for Yamaha brand. I m sure youll loose the customers. And rating. This is the quality Yamaha is giving for a 128000 rs vehicle. It's better to go for tvs it's not even giving any serious complaint now it's more than 2 years. I am sure the Yamaha will loose its reputation by these agencies those who are spoiling there name. I think it's a defective r15 which I have purchased its my life's first time a vehicle is giving this much complaint. From September 28- oct 26 the Byke was with them they told they are taking to Nagpur and kept vehicle there. Yesterday I got the vehicle back today it's complaint always they are charging fee too. It's more than 7 month.And now they are regreting my call when I am stopped on road. The main problem is there is no one to make the move legally. In my way they should not sell vehicle if they does know to solve the problem properly

I have a R15 V2.0, i have been riding it for 2 years (7500 km) lately i have been getting strange annoying noise from the engine, the noise increases when i accelerate. The service guy told that it is just the noise it wont affect anything but if i have to make it fix, they will have to work on the engine part, since i took my bike to service station aftermath of Chennai floods, the service stations were full already, the service people told me to take to another service station and also told me that it is just the noise wont affect the bike in large. After a month or so i am giving to servicing annoyed by the noise and the pickup problem, the bike is not going past 60 Kmph in another service station they have given me the estimate of 17500 Rupees . I am completely shocked by the amount estimated for the service. Please reply if anyone faced such issue and whether the amount charged to me is correct, i am yet to get my bike.

    I was booked yamaha fz 16 on first week of november & the dealer said that within 15 days we gave you delivery but steel they dont.Pls take this seriously & gave us responce soon

    I'm one of the next customers of FZ 16 midnight black..such a negative response pre-booking can definitely let us down inspite of the liking for this bike having gud things besides..Dealers ought to take it seriously...
    Same situation prevails here I even booked the bike paying 5 grand and am yet to get the bike its been more than a month now.
    Yamaha still has poor infrastructure and network in india... it must improve on those before releasind marvellous bikes like FZ 16 and R15. I booked it today... They told me to wait for 1 month.
    Mybe its b/c they know your grammar sucks :P

    Yamaha FZS Midnight Edition — Bike not delivered

    I Booked yamaha midnite FZS EDITION A 25 DAYS BACK THEY TOOK BOOKING AMOUNT OF 5.6 THOUSAND AND TOLD ME THAT I NEED TO WAIT FOR 45 DAYS... NOW THEY ARE NOT DELIVERING THEIR PROMISE, THEY ARE SAYING THAT COMPANY HAD STOPPED THE SPECIAL EDITION BIKE. I WAITED FOR TOO LONG AND I DIDNT BOOKED ANY OTHER BIKE.

      I have bought a yamaha FZ-16 from Delhi SCooters, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi in the mid of Oct.After taking delivery of my bike while going to my home I noticed that unfortunately my RH shocker started leaking.I was really shocked to see that this type of quality is given by Yamaha Motor India.Then i went to the showroom again to get my bike checked.They said 'no problem we will replace the whole leg' after two days and you could use the bike.At that time the vechile was also inspected by Yamaha motor Engr. Mr Abhinandan.After using my bike for 4-5 days i again went to Delhi Scooter and again i found that my bike's LH shocker also started leaking.This time i was disappointed & again the workshop person said to come after 5 days.Again while using i found a new problem that a whistle sound is coming from the silencer when the bike engine is at idle condition.After few days I took my vechile for replacement of shockers and discussed the same, but this time i was helplessed.Workshop person said this is not a problem & i checked the same in other bikes but this is the only problem in my bike.Now i am in a fix what to do.Plz help me as soon as possible.I could not think this type of quality is given by YAMAHA even in my dreams as I have all the models of yamaha.It is really a very bad experience for me.

      Most respectfully we the residents of sohan ganj want to submit the folluing facts for kind consideration and immediate action:-

      1. That sohan ganj is a small resident’s locality lawfully established in preindependence era. There are only 3 streets which are very narrow and all the houses are one side open. all the house are inhabited by law abiding families with simple living . all in all the locality presented a peaceful picture till a few mouths ago.
      2. a very old building ( 1800 sohan ganj ) which is a 3 side open building is situated on the entrance of Brahmin gali . it was a double story structure built in 1950 and occupied entirely by families barring a few shops on main road side .
      3. how ever the building was recently purchased by a man belonging to builder mafia he has forcibly evicted all the resident occupiers of the building.
      4. the builder has built a 5 story building after demolishing the old building in an unauthorized manner the entire structure is unauthorized without any sanctioned building plan it is totally unsafe and dangerous
      5. due to the banquet hall operating from a residential area, there is acute problem of parking of vehicles . all the visitors to the banquet hall functions park their vehicles in the narrow street leading to severe problems as we are not able to move freely in our own area and not able to park own vehicles.
      6. on the morning after the function the banquet hall people through the garbage and filth on the street due to which there is foul smell all around it is not even possible to cross the street stay animals push the filth around making the entire street a big garbage dump.
      7. The building is being used as a banquet hall in open defiance of Supreme Court orders. Even the basement is being used as a banquet hall. Due to this banquet hall the lives of the residents of sohan ganj have become miserable . When ever there is a function ( marriage ) in the banquets hall there is a pollution of all the sorts . There is heavy noise pollution as load music is played till the night . We are unable to sleep and children are not to study at all. the elderly people also feel very much disturbed.
      8. the area in front of the banquet hall remains crowded with anti social elements and eve teasers due to which the woman talk are unable to walk freely.
      9. the owner of the banquet hall cleverly camouflaged his activities by hanging a board named ( M G DHARAMSHALA ) in front of the banquet hall so that he can escape sealing action under the garb of a DHARAMSHALA (inn) while actually the place is a full fledged Banquet Hall .
      10. the sewers of the street in front of the banquet hall start overflowing due to heavy ;oad of sewerage discharged by the Banquet Hall whenever there is a function inside it the dirty water of the sewer was flow on the streets leading to very bad strench all sround the area.
      11. the owner of the Banquet hall have installed high pressure water pumps which suck in all the water supply during peak hour leading to shortage of water to the area residents
      12. the Banquet hall mentioned above should be immediately sealed on the following Grounds:

      a. it is an unauthorized building
      b. it is a public nuisance
      c. it is an illegal commercial activity in a residential area.
      d. It has created acute problem of parking & sewerage in the locality
      e. The builder has encroached upon more than 2ft of govt land throughout the length of the Banquet Hall.
      f. On many occasions high capacity diesel generator sets are installed on govt land and used throughout the days and night in contravention of supreme court guidelines.

      FZ -16 — poor service by delhi scooter

      poor service given by the Delhi scooters (Raja garden) first of all they charged extra for bike service. secondly they dont want to replace any part in warranty they argued very badly that part don't has warranty. i really don"t has seen like this in any other company like (tvs, hero- honda, honda etc.) i already convinced to my two friends not to purchase the yamaha bike cause of my bad experience with yamaha. please look into the matter and tr to resolve.       Rohit, you like good look as you are yound. This is all good. But, Indian customer don't actually notice the BUILD QUALITY that is the most important part. You see FZ is an international bike. And if Yamaha maintain that standard the price would be 3-4 times more in India. As a result no one will actually but that bike. You have to understand it. So the company put some low quality material to make the price low.
      Remember, the bikes we are getting here are NOT the quality product. Only LOOK is there to inspire the youth. So bad isn't it ?
      I would there fore suggest you to buy little old models that are already been used for atleast 2/3 years.

      Like: HH Splin/Passs, YAM Crux/ybr, HON Shine/ Uni, SUZ zet...etc. Then you never have to regreat for the quality!

        Product name Yamaha Fz 16.I gave the bike for its first service but i wasn't satisfied at all. The motorcyle seemed as it was just cleaned and polished from outside.I am facing several problems since then and have visited the service centre 4 times but every time i am provided with some excuse and asked to come again later.

        Some of the problems are lower pick up and mileage, Stiff rear suspension, noise in chain, rough engine, rpm problem(engine stops in first gear with low acceleration).

        GE Moters india pvt. ltd. — very 2 poor customer care service

        Vodafone services are as poor as they cannot be described. It should pack its bags from India and go back to the Hell.

        Out of 20 times I tried to call a customer care, but they are not attend the phone. I have some bill related problems. please attention on my complaint

        i agree brother.i've also faced proper service issues with yamaha.After sales service sucks.Dont go for yamaha people if you are not 100% sure of after sales services and customer satisfaction

        YAMAHA FZ 16 — No one attending the problems

        roduct name Yamaha Fz 16.I gave the bike for its first service but i wasn't satisfied at all. The motorcyle seemed as it was just cleaned and polished from outside.I am facing several problems since then and have visited the service centre 4 times but every time i am provided with some excuse and asked to come again later.

        Some of the problems are lower pick up and mileage, Stiff rear suspension, noise in chain, rough engine, rpm problem(engine stops in first gear with low acceleration).

        The service centre people are not even attending me.Yamaha is only concerned with selling their products and not with customer satisfaction. Dont buy from the following dealer and if you are looking for customer satisfaction after sales service then don't go for Yamaha.

        I have purchased a yamaha Gladiator on[protected] from Pickup Yamaha(Gurgaon).The day on which I purchase first they have given me the improper functioning bike. After my insistence that I would not take as bike engine was producing inconsistent noise. They were continuously suggesting that It is not a problem and will be rectified in the first service. If it was not a problem then why it will be rectified after first service. Then I asked the dealership owner about the problem and then only they changed bike.
        When I had gone for 1st service there is no lubricant oil(Yamaha 4T) and the air compressor was not working at that time. I have traveled 20 Km again just for filling the oil after bike service.
        Now it has more than 1 and 1/2 month from the date on which I have purchased the bike but I have not got the number of my bike. Whenever I am calling on their(Pick up Yamaha personal) cell numbers they would not pick up the phone. When I call them on landline number they accept the call. They said that you will get your number with in 2 to 3 days but the day has not yet come. Even I have gone to authority but due to typing mistake(incorrect engine number on the paper) of dealership personal authority refused to give me the number.

        They are telling that I have gone the Authority where I have said (authority official) that I will give any permanent address which is completely baseless. I have gone to authority with their (dealership agent) and authority personal refused due to give number due to incorrect engine number. On 19/11/2008 they ask for permanent address proof and I faxed it promptly. But I do not have any clue why me number has not come yet.

        The reason they are embarrassing me that I have refused to take the improper functioning bike on the day of purchase.
        Even on 21/11/2008 they promised to give the number on 22/11/2008 in presence of a Yamaha official and still on 23/11/2008 I have not got that.
        Please let me know what should I do and where I have to go from now. I suffered a lot of metal strain due to their irresponsible and amateur behavior. I am waiting for your response.

        in 3 wheeler ( this my first time in my life i taken my vechile
        in 3 wheeler) as per CAG request.
        CAG persons told it is a defective problem - but till 11.12.08
        i have not received my vechile.. still under their workshop..
        since i am in marketing job i am not able to go to job for last 2 days. Really Really i am not at all satisified with what things going on.. I feel very bad of taking this yamaha vehicle..
        what R&D, testing is going on in yamaha- that too for higher
        end models..

        kindly look into this matter and give me proper solutions

        Yes. I totally agree. Yamaha service sucks. I have the same chain noise problem and rpm issue. I thought it would get sorted(as i told them specifically) after 1st service. but it wasnt.
        Apart from service, i have another issue. The chain got rusted so easily and heavily after 3 - 4 days of rain. though it is partly my fault exposing the bike in rain; still i never though it would get this much rusted. May be i have to change it in my sec service.

        This is to inform u that I m a customer, willing to buy a yamaha bike.

        2.Govt. has slashed (bring down) the excise duty (reduced by 4%) of motor vehicles due to global slowdown, for increasing the sale of the motor vehicles manufacturer.

        3.In the showrooms they are not aware of the same. And they are giving quotations in the previous pricing, which includes the full excise duty.

        4.Honda motors had also implemented the same in their pricing model.

        5.If Govt. has slashed the excise duty, you have to bring down the price because you are ultimately returning the duties collected back to the Government. It will not make any loss to your company.


        So, please look upon the above issue and do the needful.

        Please let me inform about this issue as soon as possible.

        Im facing Rear tyre wobbling issue. As it is not felt while riding, but one can see it when the rear wheel is rotated on centre stand and for those who are coming behind the bike while you are riding.

        Service people say its common wth most FZ's. But i dnt think its a good answer. The've to find the root cause and do the necessary service to repair it.

        My FZ is nw 1 month old and just done the first service. (Reg. No : KL 41 B 5401)

        There is no doubt that the bike FZ 16 is too good...it is the real attention grabber...
        but i am sad to say that the management of yamaha india sucks...i visited three times to yamaha showroom which is located in malad ..the very first showroom of yamaha india pvt ltd in India, but they had not responded properly..Also they did not deliver the bike at the promised date.I think Yamaha should think abt the management...bcoz without the good management and customer satisfaction the company despite of its good brandname cannot grow in country like india.

        I bought FZ16 on October 2008, from ORPI motors, Coimbatore, and I was out of station for 2 months, the first free service was scheduled on November 2008, till January 1st my vehicle ran only 100 km. I started using the vehicle from January and done 1000 km in February, when i took the vehicle for the first free service, the dealer said he cant take it for the first free service, he can only take the vehicle for the second free service, and my vehicle will not be under warranty.( Reason: I missed the first free service scheduled Nov 2008 )

        The problem is, What is the use of servicing a vehicle which ran only 100 km. on the first free service scheduled date (i.e.) 30 days or 1000 km. ?

        I had used Honda, Suzuki, Hero Honda, Bajaj vehicles which I used to service in the authorized service centers only after the scheduled service meter readings not on the count of days, and no one till now except Yamaha complained it.

        Note: I had also used RX - 135 for 2 years and serviced all the free services in the authorized service centers (ANNAI motors, Coimbatore), only after the service scheduled meter reading not on counting the days

        I have an FZ16 one month old.I have given my bike to ORION motors Bangalore, after the service the vehicle is not that smooth as it was before, one day before the first service my bike could touch a great mileage of 46.5kmpl on highways, now its considerably reduced to 35kmpl.could any one please advice the reason behind this and where can i have best service for my FZ16.please help me

        AT THE TIE OF DELIVERY THEY TOLD ME THAT IN THE MORNING WHEN U FIRST START THE BIKE U DONT HAVE TO GIVE THE ACCELERATOR AND USE THE CHOKE.ON THE VERY FIRST MORNING I DID THE SAME BUT USELESS THE BIKE DID NOT STARTED. I CALLED UP THE SERVICE CENTER THEY TOLD ME SIRJI THODE SE RACE DE DO KUCH NAHI HOGA, THE SYSTEM WAS NOT RIGHT BUT IT WORKED .
        I NOTICED A NOICE TIK TIK FROM THE ENGINE ON CONTACTING THE SERVICE INCHARGE Mr GIRIRAJ OF THE DEALER M/s BULLAND AUTOMOBILES THE AUTHORISED DEALER FROM THEM I PURCHASED THE BIKE TOLD ME THAT THIS TIK TIK NOICE IS OF THE ENGINE TAPIT WHICH THE COMPANY LEAVES IT A BIT LOOSE U CAN CHECK IN ANY OF THE BIKES ON ASKING WHY IT IS LOOSE HE REPLIED ENGINE GARAM HO JATA HAI YAMAHA MAIN YEH EK BIMARI HAI I GOT DISSAPPOINTED

        This telling about carelessness and noncomplience of a yamaha sales/service centre, named PSN YAMAHA MAMANGALAM, ERNAKULAM DIST.
        I purchased one yamaha gladiator from 10 months back. The fifth service i have completed from there. All service times i have faced problems. Service is very poor, they simply polish the things out side not even check the battery watre/break fluid/air too... and many many complaints i had with them. this comment i am writing afer finding the no water in in my yamaha battery after i had given for service 5 days back. JUST NOW I HANDED OVER MY BATTERY IN A LOCAL BATTERY SERVICE CENTRE... IT MIGHT HAVE SPOILED...It is true they did not check the same while service. Really i am fed up with this PSN yamaha. they are looking only for sales not for after sale service.
        I am looking for another center for service. I feel the yamaha must check them properly, other wise they may loose customer for buying the same. Let me open, i too prevent my friends to buy yamaha due to this issue. I had been using my own hero honda bike for more than 10 yrs... i FEEL NOW I MADE MISTAKE BOUGHT A YAMAHA THIS TIME.

        Pick-up Yamaha (Gurgaon) peoples are fraud, they dont know anything about bikes. I had met with an accident few months earlier and after that i had taken my bike to them for servicing and overall checkup. First they said you have to leave your bike in serivce station and then leave the place and get the bike after 6-7 hours. When after 7 hours i went to take my bike they said everything is fine with the bike, and they dont engine oil and oil filter so they cant replace them and asked me to continue with the same old oil and they will replace them in next service. they were not having even a single spare part of the bike and i was completely unsatisfied with the service they (pickup yamaha) had provided. On the next i took my bike to delhi (Delhi Scooters) for the complete check up and again for the servicing this time i paid for servicing. Delhi scooters guys told me that front fork is not aligned, handle has to be replaced and few other things are to be done in bike.

        I dont know why yamaha motors india ltd gave dealership to pickup yamaha, they should cancel there dealership as soon as possible if they want some satisfied costumers. Yamaha has hade many milestones in Indian motosbiking and these peoples like (pickup yamaha) are ruining yamaha brand.
        sir i have a problem 4m your service care..3 months ago i hv a small accident on fz16 wic i bought it on jan of this year..actually after that accident i lost my brake shoe stand..which i tell to my near service retailer to bring the new one...but they are taking so much tym dt almost 4 months..m not able to ride my bike aftr that accident..just how will i ride without having dt...pls help...or kindly see on this problem...
        dear friends . all the yamaha service center are not doing there job good. i have tried in all the yamaha service center in our town. (coimbatore tamil nadu) . i only thing i have done is i contineously service my bike in one service station . this think helped me to keep my bike . if they say not spares try to get the yamaha spares from other shops and ask the people to do the service. i have also supplied spanners of my own.         I had purhased YAMAHA FZ-16 from Ganesh Enterprises, Vikhroli, Mumbai in November 2008 end. When I gave the bike for 3rd Service this morning at Kamla Yamaha, Lower Parel, Mumbai I was asked by them to get the Unique ID No. from Ganesh Ent. to get the benefit of Free Service. In spite of continuous follow up, Ganesh Ent. have not given me the Unique ID No. You will appreciate that I may have to pay for the free service for no fault of mine. Is this the service expected from Yamaha Dealers like Ganesh Enterprises ?

        I PURCHASE YAMAHA FZ-16, PROBLEM is that the bike is not having that much power as per my aspectation, now i want to increase the power of my bike, so please suggest some tips for that.mileage is not a issue.its ok if i replace the fz piston with with pulsar 200cc, and little changes with cam-shaft(high lifting cam) and valve bigger one.

        I bought an Fz 6 months back. I love the bike and sure Yamaha has done a wonderful job in this bike. But the after sale service is horrible. It feels as if the bike is washed, polished and given back. My bike doesn't give me a feel of a serviced bike. Whom should I be meeting in regards to this.

        They have refused for service my bike Gladiator SS, DL2SM 1866 Because It is purchased from the M/s Bulland Automotoive. If this showroom is for Yamaha Bike So why they have refused for it . Please make me proper reply and take necessary action against workshop manager to avoid this type behaviour for the customer.
        iam totally dissapointed with pickup and mileage...i asked to tune the engine instead they decreased the pickup and said now the bike is all new and it gives more mileage

        i own fz-16, problem is that i my bike speed does not exceed more than 108km/hr & i have heard that it goes till 132km/hr. I told ma dealer in aligarh (balla motors) u.p. he told me too use all yours gears roughly than it will catch tyhe speed i also tried that but its not working. please help me guys.

        i have booked yahama fazer on 24th july 2009 at Pick up (gurgaon branch). its being 20 days now. i know huge demand is there but still i haven't got the confirmation no. or ref. no.
        i am worried that my bike is booked or not in your system. why your company want to loose the fame. your MGF(SAKET-NEW DELHI) associate told me that whenever a customer book a bike a system generated msg comes on given mobile no.
        Sraadh are coming & at that moment hindus people never purchase a new thing. kindly consider it on urgent basis..
        Strange i haven't got it kindly sort out my problem..

        Once the booking is made, usually you should get a SMS message from Yamaha. If that is not the case please ask the dealer to check and confirm. Please make sure you have paid the booking amount to ensure you are booked in.

        sir, am a fz 16 owner last 8 months, my vehicle date of purchase[protected].my complaint is my bikes chain sounds like a jerking, it also the chain will running half portion tightly and half loosely, the problem will came after 10000 km.becoz of that problem i see my bike two service centers in kottayam and cochin(S.G motors kottyam), then the( PSN motors cochin), the two service centers the wash the chain and lubed with yamaha lube spray, after this procedure, the bike was okey up to 150 km, after the 150 km the sound is back.with the same jerking and looseness and half portion tight, my bike is now over15500 km, and i done 6th service.this the main problem with the fz16, in this problem i bad riding comfort and bad performance from my bike, what i do, i done the services correctly, and the chain lube and wash every 500 km, .pls give a good result from your part.

        I am utterly infuriated and disgusted about the miserable service & management from Yamaha Factory Shop at Kolkata. I wish to bring to your notice the blunder I faced at your Service Center.

        I met with an accident on 19th July. On 29th July of 2009 I took my bike FZ16 (Reg. No. WB 26L 7912) to Yamaha Factory Shop Kolkata from where I bought this vehicle 5 months back.

        Some Mr. Sudip Debnath (who claimed himself to be a Service manager) inspected my bike referring an estimation which included changing of right side fork (front), handle bar, headlight & many other parts & told me it will take at least 10 – 15 days for the entire activity to complete. After 22days when I called Mr. Sudip Debnath, he informed me fork is not available so he will change the barrel of the right side front fork. 28th August, 2009 when I called him he told me to come to the showroom on 29th August around 2 pm. When I reached the service center, I realized what a blunder I had made by leaving my bike at the hand of this so called service Manager. They had kept the bike unattended for 30 days outside the garage and it created an addition to the already damaged bike. When I approached them I found that they were repairing another bike (Reg. No. WB 26L 5357) instead of mine and confidently told me that it was my bike. To my utter dismay and agony I found that the condition of the bike was as it was submitted 1 month earlier. When I confronted them they started to work on my bike. Surprisingly this time Mr. Debnath told me that the right fork of my bike has no problem! Though one month earlier he was the one who told me right fork was bent. Moreover for repairing the fork I waited for 1 month. They kept the bike for 31 days. Hence I want to ask Yamaha authority how this time the right fork got repaired on its own.

        Though they changed both the side tanks, digital metes, exhaust muffler etc in front of me gave me the bike. Though handle bar was clearly bent, chain was badly rusted they don’t have chain lube also to lubricate the chain.

        However in the next morning I saw front rim was severely bent and front alignment was totally spoiled. Bike was vibrating like HELL, control was gone way, engine was roaring badly. Again I went to Service Center, asked Mr Debnath. After a road test he admitted front alignment & rim was bent. But surprisingly he has no resolution this time also. He told me to call him on 4th September.

        Now please clarify the following points.
        1. Why another bike (WB 26L 5357 owner Mr Avishek) was treated in stead of mine (WB 26L 7912)?
        2. Why my bike was kept 31 days in the open without any proper assessment of the problems of my bike.
        3. Why Mr. Sudip Debnath told me right fork was bent & kept me awaited for 31 days and denied that problem on 29th August?
        4. Why Mr. Sudip Debnath did not take any step when I pointed the problems (front rim bent, front alignment bent) on 30 th August?

        Do you feel that I am some kind of a fool that I don’t understand how my bike was running? Your customers pay for the bike and also for these stupid repairs which has no sense in the end. It seems that we need to pay Yamaha for the sufferings too. Will somebody reimburse me the amount which I pay to travel to your service centre and also for the number of calls which I make? Or do you people take this as matter of fact?

        I feel that either you should investigate the problem of the bike or else replace the bike for the treatment given to me. Although my suffering cannot be calculated in money I wish I can at least hope that some high authority will take a note of the grievance. Now I have reached a point where I wish to sell of my bike instead of speaking to your callous service manager. I shall also make sure that none of my friends get a Yamaha bike. Being a world famous brand for automobile this sort of treatment is unacceptable. I feel that if you have to live up to your brand name you should remove this type of Service Manager so that genuine customers do not suffer that way I did.

        If you care for your brand name and your reputation kindly respond with a positive feedback by taking strong action against your Service Manager and getting my bike repaired to its past glory.
        i have heard that fz has a problem of missing... its pickup is disgusting...n fz hz no mileage, , , may i know that wats the problem of servicing... iz fz really a poor bike, , , , if so then i have to go for pulsar 180dtsi... plz clear all my questns before i go for fz... but i dont want description about fz-16 but wat i want is fz... may i know all the faults... plz guys help me...

        i own a RX135 byke.i had newly bought cone sets.within two weeks its working get finished.then all the mud guard parts(all the nuts and bolts) get removed without my permission.the nut and bolt they gave where old one.they just take away the good and give me old one. so, the summary is that the parts installing at our bikes are duplicate.
        yamaha really not providing good services ppl..i was having some handle problem since the 2nd day i purchased ma byk..its fz16 the lord of streets so called bike..i had done ma 3 services till date, nd shown the showrum ma byk for 3 4 times regardinthe handle problm..they do some temporary jobs..on the first day it goes cool..agin from the second day the handle starts showing probs as before..hav told them a lot of tym they just say will do sumtyn ..but its really not workin..i want them to provide me fully satisfied option for corrrecting ma handle problm..its aserious issue since i loose ma balance always while taking turns and bendin on curves..i reallly love ma bike nd want it to b hundred percent well..
        i hope yamaha ppl will kindly look into ma problem and gimme a better solution..tday i had given for ma 4th service but since the dates pased by 22days ma 4th service is skipped nd they r counting itas ma 5th service, ,
        Hi, I bought Yamaha fazer from you dealer, Ambal Motors in chennai. it's been close to 10 days since i purchased but still they did not give me the registration number. They got extra money for registration but at the end they said i have to take the bike for registration which is against the procedure. Tolerating this, i drove more than 50 kms to RTO for registration. However they rejected mine because your dealer did not submit the proper documents i gave to them. This is ridiculous. They bother only selling of the vehicle and nothing more than that. DON'T YAMAHA HAVE A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD FOR THEIR DEALERS? remember, i refused to go for honda unicorn because of the bad service by its dealers. and you cann't imagine how many customers honda would have lost by this time. It looks like it's Yamaha's turn now. I need someone to attend my query immediately otherwise these dealers will kill yamaha in its entry itself..         using fz16 for last 8months. i was using Yamaha bikes for last 10years. no doubt that fz16 was a good choice for my city ride. But from first service itself i was complaining to service personnels that its tyre pressure not maintaining correctly for more than 4-5 days. one said to try nitrogen gas, but that also failed... during last service given bike 2days for finding that problem. but no use.. just on 2nd day after inflating rear tyre with 38ps bike skid on road side, just then i checked again and it was 20ps only.. no punctures, then i removed alloy and tyre and dipped in water... found that air leaking from alloy edge from both tyres.

        reported it to dealers they took bike 2days for inspecting it in local MRF showroom... and promised to replace rear alloys.. but even after 2weeks they are not able to did that, saying no stock..
        they inflated my front tyre with 40ps and said that front alloys are ok... how to ride in that tyre pressure.. still i believe there is good punch in fz16...but... they are too bad to rectify problems through sales network...
        in fact i was trapped... cant go for long ride, night ride.., dont know when it get solved..

        I would like to draw your attention regarding a problem with the after sale service at one of your dealer "Excellent Yamaha" 1, Shanti Sadan, 45, Telli Park Road, Andheri (east) Mumbai where I have purchased FZ 16 Registration No: MH-02- BK- 1512.

        Please find below my experience with my last paid service.

        1) Servicing is not carried out in a professional manner. It’s better if I wash it at home with a hose and clean it myself.

        2) They Charge us for filter and oil replacement, but when I checked the engine oil at home the same day, the oil was black and watery. I have been cheated by Excellent Yamaha and this matter is serious and could tarnish Yamaha India’s name. I have been using bikes since 23 years and never seen an unprofessional service center like Excellent Yamaha

        3) The rear excel nut was lose and could easily maneuver it with your bare hands.

        There is a list of things and I have attached links of people who have similar complains of Excellent Yamaha.


        The worst customer care & service provided by "Excellent Yamaha" 1, Shanti Sadan, 45, Telli Park Road, Andheri (east) Mumbai. If this going to continue likes this, then its time Yamaha India should worry about its reputation

        Suggestion: Yamaha should have a training program before appointing a dealer as how to respect their customer weather he is buying a 70000/- Vehicle or a R-1 for 13 Lakhs. I have never experience this type of attitude from any of the car dealers when ever we have purchased a vehicle.

        I have had a similar experience with this service dealer. I gave my bike for the first service and it was a painful affair. they were not attentive and at last I got the service done with lots of requests. However they claimed they have changed the engine oil. but when i checked engine oil after few days it was not being changed and got it changed from outside. It is a pathetic customer service. Yamaha should ban this dealer.

        Dear sir/madam,
        i have just purchased a fz16 2 months back.what seemed to me as a dream bike has turned into a nightmare.the reason for buying this lovely bike was for its riding experience.not anymore.since i started riding this bike the engine stalls on the 3rd or 4th gear n when i leave the clutch the bike jump starts putting a lot of load on the clutch.i even explained this to the service advisor at the malad showroom but has'nt been able to do anything yet.on asking him, what will i have to do if the cluth wears out he says i will have to pay for a new clutch plate.if there is a problem with the engine stalling why shoud i pay for the clutch kit.please do look into this matter as i also have some other fz owners complaining about the same.and also the management at your malad workshop truly and disappointingly sucks.im sorry but please do see into the matter..

          i have booked yamaha fz-16 on 20/9/08...and dealer promised me to deliver the bike in third week of october...i have already given him the full amount but still i have not got my bike so far...they are delaying it purposefully...
          many people who booked bike after me have already got their bikes because they have paid 5000/- extra or they must be some big shots...
          now what should i do?

          As my bike got repaired while riding there is a huge sound accured suddenly, i stopped my bike at the corner of the road and called Sri motors service people at the time of 9:30 AM, and they came at 11:30 AM for more than one and a half an hour i stood on the road for them at maduravoyal their office is at near Ashok pillar.
          They took my bike on 19.08.09. There is no reply i gave my mobile no also then later next day 20.08.09 i called them the reply was still not open the engine. ok next day 21.05.09 i called the reply was valve got bend need to change i said ok the valve is covered in warrenty, then next day 22.08.09 i again called they said mostly by today u will get your bike, before going to their service centre i called them the reply was no not yet ready. The next day was sunday 23.08.09, then today is Monday 24.08.09 i keep on calling them from morning to evening 5:30 PM the phone not picked up, i went straightly the centre was closed, still not yet got my bike these are the list happened this is my problem which i faced from 19.08.09 to till date, i was very much depressed and tensed. my brand new bike FZ16 Just not even 3months bike is still is service centre.

          Kindly take steps this is a big issue keep on depressed for a single man makes his heart too weak.

          I Have Bought Fzs 2months A go i face Lot Of Problem In Gear Shifting The Probleme Started From the 10th Day Of The Bike But The Bike Goes Dam Smoother On Highways need A sugeesion What Can I Do wi Gear Problem
          Dear Sir,

          I have purchased a Yamaha motorbike on 2nd July 2009 (Class MCY, make YAMAHA FZ 16 ST) from M/s Standard Yamaha, Bhopal. The bike could be registered on my name after more than a months timei.e on 17th Aug. 2009. Upon approaching to the Standard Yamaha several times they informed that they have sent the chasis no. (ME121C[protected]) and engine no. (21C1051372) to the RTO on a different name and therefore the vehicle could not be registered. Where as as per the Motor Vehicle Act the vehicle should be registered within 10 days after its sale. The delay in the registration has caused humiliation to me as I was driving a vehicle without registration number because of the shear negligence of the dealer.
          This mistake could be resolved after a long discussion with the dealer and finally the vehicle was registered on my name with registration no. MP 04 MR 7842.
          Yamaha has provided some free services to me.when I went for 4th service to another authorized service center, thet told me that your free service is laps.according to them this bike is not registerd on my name.it was shocking for me.they then I went to the STANDARD Yamaha.again they tried to hide the truth, ,
          However the book (service and warrenty book) could not be transferred on my name inspite of my several request to the dealer. They informed that this particular vehicle has no history in the database being maitained by the company. So whenever I go for free servicing the dealer refuses and informed that vehicle has already been serviced. As there is no record in the central database and no due services are being provided to me I have doubt that whether other benefits like warranty and guarentee etc shall be extended to me. I came to know about this fact when I approached another dealer for free service as I was dissatified with the services provided by M/s Standard Yamaha.


          Should I go to the CONSUMER FORUM for my complaint???

            Hello, I have purchased a newly launched Gladiator SS from Gurunanak motors, kasarwadi, pune in march 08.Right from beginning, I've been experiencing pick-up problem.I have told this problem to dealer but he washed his hands off by repeating that clutch plates don't come under warranty period.Company engineer also told me the same.This particular problem is from day one due to defective parts so it is the duty of company to replace it.Now I don't know what to do.Bike no MH 14 - BL 2792, vikas chinchwade, [protected].

              This complaint is addressed to all the higher authority of Yamaha Motors and to all people in Mumbai.
              This complaint is against Mr Ajay Bari Manager of Yamaha showroom in Malad Mumbai - India
              I am complaining because Mr Ajay Bari does not know how to speak to his customers "I am Sorry, Yamaha customers, he is very rude and back answers the customer right on their face as thinks he owns the company, he is doing a favor by selling the bike to the customer as if he is gifting them.
              I am affraid that he is spoiling Yamaha's reputation as he is not capable of being a manager with this attitude.
              I am complaining as i have faced this rude person at Yamaha and there is no complaint book or public relation person to take my complaint at the showroom
              I hope that the higher authority takes action against him
              I am and will be available if the authority needs me for a talk.

                I booked an bike yamaha libero G5. from gwalior to gondia Jn.on 22/10/08 . till date im wating for my bike. i get the news that my bike is still sanding on gwalior station.

                  Dear All,
                  I dont know by writing this matter here what benefit will be there.
                  I have Yamaha Fazer bike.
                  Manifold for the same is failed and I am not able to get the same anywhere. Even Harshil Motors, Baroda is not having the spares for the product what they sell. They also not co-operating for the issue. So what to do now. Why the customers of Yamaha is so helpless?
                  Yamaha motors should improve the service and this website should convey the matter to the Yamaha Motors otherwise it is worthless

                    im an ardent fan of yamaha and im pained to see the state of affairs in infrastructure and customer satisfaction.The dealer i visited, has his workshop sealed owing to MCD ceiling.the vehicles serviced are been carried out by people who do not wear uniform and i doubt untrained too in the nearby vicinity.this doubt arises from the fact that my ignition coil has become weak and iv complained that to them.they neither changed it nor checked it.after the service again i encountered the same problem.by taking it to the manger{services)Mr.Sharma, his reply was very rude and callous.these employees are creating lots of havoc in the minds of customers.this is the prime failure of yamaha to serve its customer properly unlike hero honda which is been doing a better job by sending supervisors from the company to ensure proper customer care.

                    i dont know where to up this matter.i have the God of bikes but corrupt priests spoiling the deity's name and glory.

                    Very true. Yamaha doesnt regulate the dealers properly. Products are unmatched. Processing and servicing needs to be stringent.
                    I recently had my yamaha Vstar in to have the carburetors rejetted. I got the bike back and road it for a week and noticed that the bike would hesitate every time I shifted into another gear, I also noticed their was a wire hanging down from the carburetor. I took the bike back and it took the dealer 2 days before they even looked at it. I commented to them that it should have been priorty to look at my bike first sense they did not fix it correctly the first time. They service department called me and said that three people road the bike and they thought nothing was wrong with it, so when I went to pick it up I asked about the wire that was hanging down and they said they didn't fix it because it was like that when I brought it in. I'm sorry but that was rediculous. Poor poor service, you have lost me as a customer and I willnever recomend anyone go to Advantage Power sport in Kansas City Mo

                      YAMAHA GLADIATOR JA MODEL BIKE — DELEARSHIP NOT RESPONDING WELL DURING SERVICE

                      I had purchased yamaha Gladiator JA model in 2nd Augurst 2007 . After getting four services from yamaha workshop i am still facing problem. Problem details are as follow.
                      1. virbation in whole vehicle
                      2. Rear wheel alligment is out
                      3. RPM flactuating continously.
                      4. Engine stop while slow speed.
                      Workshop people are not solving my problem they are only giving me excusses.

                      Please help me out

                      Hi,
                      I live in Chennai and bought a black Yamaha R15 about a month back. The bike’s handling, looks and feel is great and I have managed to touch speeds of 120km/h with ease. Overall
                      I am very satisfied with the Bike and wouldn’t trade it for anything else.(well perhaps an R1). Anyway my bike was due for it’s first service as it has been a month since I bought it. I went to the Sri Motors Yamaha showrom in Ashok Nagar where I bought the bike and handed it over for it’s first service. They asked me to collect it in the evening after 7pm. So i went and collected it and since it was dark I just brought the bike home and left it in my garage. The next day when I woke up in the morning and took my bike out for a ride I noticed that there were two really big and deep scratch marks on my bike. I went back to the Yamaha showroom and complained to them about it. They immediately went on the defense and said that they were not responsible and that I must have hit it somewhere. I was very upset by this and have decided that I will never give my bike to Sri Motors again for service. I would like to know whether there is any manual which I can read that would help me to service the bike myself. Also for guys who are living in Chennai and are going to buy a Yamaha Bike DONT BUY IT FROM SRI MOTORS IN ASHOK NAGAR. Buy it from somewhere else.

                      Hello People,

                      I bought a Yamaha Gladiator Bike on 20th Nov 2008 at PATNY MOTORS, Hyderabad. The bike is TERRIBLE. It vibrates, trembles. One can HEAR a Grinding noise or U can feel it. Unlike other Yamaha bikes it dosent have any kind of pickup. I[censored]r taking a U-turn on the 2nd gear, One can hear the Sound of Chaingripping. A speed breaker comes, its in the same in 2nd gear and u can hear TAK-TAK-TAK from the chain. And in Traffic God saves me... Its Dumbo driving on it. It runs slow and makes HELL OF A NOISE. My bike CRIES if it crosses 55, and remember there is no Pillion rider. Yes people say it is a BIKE of 125CC engine capacity, and it ran about 1900kms. So...__________________________________ and guys the service is Pathetic.
                      i have bought Yamaha Fazer bike No. RJ01 - SA9901 from Raj Yamaha, Opp. DIG Office, Jaipur Road, Ajmer (Rajasthan), they have issued me a life time free service card No. 1005 against a sum of Rs.1000/-

                      But now they are denying to give me services for that, is this the way to treat your valued customers. please do the needful ASAP.

                      I recently brought a Gladiator ss. This is Great bike and performace above the level of expectations . But the Most disheartening thing about the Finish of the Tail crowl of Gladiator is very poor and tail position breaks open and Yamaha R & D Department should have taken a survey and would have notice that more that 80 % of Bike have tail position broken which gives ugly finish and I am surprised Why R & D has still sorted out this Issue.

                      I would suggest the R & D department to take care so that they could improve the presence in India
                      Last month on 23rd March 09 I bought a Yamha Bike (Alba 106) after 7 day the bike was not running properly and I went to the dealer but the dealer told me that after 1st service the problem will be solved, speedo meetar was also run ount in first day.
                      after 2 week I went to service center and the workshop manager advised me to put the bike in the centre for one day, Ileft the bike for servicing in center.
                      when I came to service center for taking my bike back, I found that there were nothing serviced and they Charged Rupees 500 for Oil Change and Taflon coating I payed it and took my bike. on the way I found that the problems were same so I called to workshop manager He told me to run it like that and the engin will be change but I was feeling very imbrassing with the new bike to run in that condition so I went to workshop and told them to repair it properly. he told me that you will get it after 15 days. today on 30th Apr 09 I took the bike back but the condition / problems are same. now please tell me what to do ? please help me out otherwise at last I will go to cunsumer coat.

                      I bought a bike from BIKERZ in chennai the dealers in saidapet and college road, nanganallur and still never got my rc book and also my insurance...i also found that the bike is defective and some kind of noise comes from it when we ride it for a long time...seriously i hope some kind of action is taken on these people cause they still never gave me the rc book and the insurance.

                      Its Alaya. I have given my bike(YAMAHA- RX135) for repairing and servicing at RELIANCE AUTOMOBILES, GT Road, Durgapur on 31.07.2009. The delivery date provided by them was 06.08.2009. Now they are delaying in delivery saying that they don't have the spare(bore & piston unit). As per them they have already placed order for this spare but the company is delaying in prividing them . Also they are asking that the cost of the spare has been increased with a margin of 1500 rupees from that they have given me at the time of estimation.Plz clarify.

IN Gupta Motors there is No Mature person sitting for dealing with Customers.. As YOUNGsters who are sitting there doesnt have proper knowledge .Even they didn't know that how to DEAL... Workshop is in very poor condition as there bikes.. As YAMAHA Brand Name is at NO.1 position in market. No spare parts are available in Gupta Motors jalandhar Agency.

                      i have got a gladiator ss on august 2009 month from ORPI AGENT coimbatore. A worst place and worst yamaha products. Cheapest yamaha products comes here i hope.

                      Hey guys think of yourself, i am talking truly, just see the list of new yamaha bike orpi agents problems.
                      1. At 60 kmph my bike started to shake heavily, the handle jerked which created hand and shoulder pains.

                      2. My rear wheel wobbles when i go on the road at normal speeds which created lack of my driving confidence.

                      3. My head lights were worst.

                      4. My bumpers not aligned properly.

                      5. Carburator was not proper, my bike stops here and there, then i have to start again.

                      6. Finaly a great problem. My bike handle was not straight, oh my god. I always had chest and hand problems.

                      7. Heavy problem is, one day when i was driving suddenly my bike stopped slowly and stopped at a point. I dont know the problem. Then a auto driver came and said the disc brake air lock happened. Then he bought his auto spares and cleared me that in the hot sun.


                      Please please dont take a gladiator. or yamaha bike please plese

                      Actually sir my bike had been accident, so It have some small loses, after that i went to Mohali yamaha service center, they gave the order of parts demaged, after a one and half week i got the half parts, they missed to order some parts, after that they asked me that we have ordered the parts and you will get it in one week and they told me that you have to give the payment in advance and I gave the total payment.Sir today it have been one month to ordered the parts but when i went to th service station they said that the parts are not yet come we have to order the parts and it will take one weak.
                      now you tell me what can I do If my bike take time of above 45 days to repaire then It have no benafits.
                      I cant go to other service center because they have taken advance payment .what is benafits to buy R15

                      I have bought a gladiator type ss last year. after buying oly i noticed that there is no chain cover. The workshop manager told me because their is no chain cover we cannot put oil only a kind of lube Its cost at one time Rs. 100. for using that lube. He told 1 bottle lube costs around Rs 500 and Rs 100 is low we are taking he saoid. because of lack of chain cover dust easily get into the chain and it is becoming loose and had a sound. So my suggestion is to put chain cover in other models so we can avoid all these problems. Now chain and socket is damaged. I went to about 5 shops in different places their is no stock of chain and socket.

                      I have facing the engine issue with the Yamaha Fazer from last 6 months. In this bike engine oil get finished after complated the 500KM after servicing as I have replaced the cylinder kit as well and now I am still face the same issue. Now I am going to the consumer court to submit the case against the company regarding my bike replecement. As they providing me the faulty unit.

                      Yamaha — Weird Issue With Gladiator SS

                      Hello, I bought my Yamaha Gladiator on 15th Oct this year, Since then i have been having issues with the Bike. The bike goes for one km gives a jerk & stops the RPM drops below 1. Took the Bike for servicing to MSP Yamaha (One of the Most pathetic Service Centers in Bangalore) reason Being they try to fool the Customers giving some Excuses regarding the issue( i was told there was a problem with the spark plug). Two days after the service i started Facing the same issue again then took the Bike to Bangalore Wheels where i actually purchased the Bike, the engine coil was replaced, replaced the spark plug cap & when i collected the bike Rode for half a Km the bike Gave a jerk & stopped, the Weird issue here is if there is even a small amount of water that splashes on the Engine the engine gives a jerk & stops. Even the service engineers are not able to find the actual issue for the cause I have hardly Used this bike & i am fed up of Paying for the services & part replacements on the bike. I don't want Yamaha to replace any more parts on the Bike. I am very very Upset of the issue & want a replacement for the bike & refund of the money that was spent on the services & the part replacements.
                      Can anyone from Yamaha get back to me with this issue as soon as possible? I have deeply lost my faith in Yamaha products after facing this issue. I shouldn't have changed my mind from buying Bajaj.

                      am very much craze in yamaha, one day i heard about r15, i saw all comments about the bike in net, it was there some bad comment also i did not care, foolishly i bought R15. in the showroom also they told bike is too good. blindly i purchesed that. after that i have suffrerd too much, from 2nd month Gear Problem, till now they did not solve, and too much carelessness, after we buy they wont get profit so only they wont concentrate their old costomers, and milage is too low price is too high, once i get accedent because of bike skid for repair they taken 1 month, after that i feel some extra sound in that i infirmed them they told me that engin problem which bike will come with in 1 year engin problem, but r15 is great it will come, and i given for service they told me that parts will come from bombay it will takes time, till 2 month i have waited and still am waiting i did not get my bike it's in showroom, and they will tell that free service, but there is no free service for oil also we have to pay, just they will water wash and give, now mantainence 73000 down payment, I paid, monthly 1700 loan 11%, 2 month once free service we have to pay 1000, and after free service we can’t give bike anyware we have to give showroom only they will charge too much, till loan finish we have to spend near to 160000. Totally bike is waste fully fibur body if accedent we will get only 50% benefit, my suggetion is don’t go YAMAHA take other Best is, no 1 Pulsar 200, and 220, and apache, ZMR also good better than r15,

                      I am from Bangladesh and bought Yamaha Alba 106 CC bike last year. I have some problems with its speeding. Its meter is 180KM/H but the problem is with full (Last) gear I at best achieve 60 KM/H... And it goes not more? Can you tell me why it is ? I went to Yamaha service center but it is still the same after servicing.

                      I thought i am the only person to have these many complaints against yamaha. glad that all face same problems. i bought Gladiator ss in November 2008, till date only 20, 000kms. but i use it regularly. i never had a comfort of riding a bike, i feel ashamed in front of my friends driving this bike. Patny motors from hyderabad are very cheap people they take away petrol from bikes, once i met with a minor accident and i went to them they said i need to change many parts and it costs 3000 but other service center from ameerpet charged me three hundred only with no service charge. they said its only fork bend.Donot go to Patny motors. Patny Yamaha.
                      funniest thing is that my bike stopped all of a sudden and i took it to near by service center in ameerpet they said battery failed even without checking the bike. I said lights glowing, horn is also working how battery is failed. they did not respond. Finally they said to change battery and they gave direct connection without battery. They took three days to find a minor power fault and said that they have to call a automobile engineer and charged me two thousand.
                      we also one R 15 YAMAHA HAS verybad service and we give bike to recharge there batery showroom management not give responce showroom name is shiv motors e-11 west joti nagar very bad company bike run only 5000

Then during the delivery time they said the disc complaint and we will replace in other day due no stock.Then again i remain the same problem in 3rd free service (2/1/2011) but during the delivery time they said their is complain in front alloy wheel, it should be your fault,said by service advisor. It is my first bike in YAMAHA, i like the bike but service is so so worst.Pls give me a correct solution........ No accident done......

                        it was just 25 days of the time when purschased the bike and while i was going back to home from office there was small ditcheson the way in which my bike went and bcoz of that the rim was damaged due to which air started leaking and its been two weeks that i gave my bike for replacement of the rim the service of yamaha is really not good still im waiting for the new rim.

                        insurance is already claim but iam waiting for the replacement of the rim which is still pending
                        yamaha launching a new bike with out knowing about indian road which is not good.this bike with this sort of service and quality its really sucks.

                        i will never recommend to any body to go for this bike.

                        the service of this company is really bad, i should say its worst.

                        See its you who decide what to take and what not to, what do you mean by indian roads, like comeon they are nice too. IF everyone thought like you then no one can make progress in India about transport and Roads. Yamaha Suzuki and Honda are launching some great bikes it doesnt mean tat they wont just coz of the Indian roads. you must understand your needs, and then go for a bike, from the above i can see your need is for a indian bike like one from bajaj etc etc. Dont go for Yamaha then. But atleast dont blame the company and other people to whatever handling you are doing.

                          Dear Sir,
                          I own a bike Yamaha Libero in Jan 2004, since then i am facing a problem of spoke breaking of my wheels. when vehicle was under warranty, the same was replaced by the dealer on FOC basis, but since when warranty on my bike was completed, the problem remains unsolved for me. Initially i have discussed the same with company official and also dealer, both accepted and agreed to the point that if my problem continue, it will be resolved on FOC basis, but now the dealer has been closed and i am facing the same problem repeatedly as no other dealer is entertaining for the same.                             I have problem with my Yamaha Gladiator, it is just 3 months old (just done 4000 Kms)and the rear alloy wheel heats up badly just after 5-6 Kms ride so I can not ride this bike due to the danger of tyre burst due to over heating. I dont know whom to complainnt as the dealer is not taking any action on this.. Please help me as this is a big problem as I acn not ride the bike, it is just standing at my home.

                            I am owning yamaha FZ16 from the last one year.Yesterday my bike fell into a small ditch and my bike's rear wheel bended inside and the air pumped outside and evacuated. The same thing happened with my friend also. They just replaced it with new one for him and he had to claim with the insurance company. I am afraid that the same thing will happen to me also. There is no guarantee for this to happen in futer also. Is it made like a toy that bends when fall on a smaal gutter. I think Yamaha especially made this bike to ride in Indian roads.                             I Had purchased my FZ 16 on dated 01/12/1998, During the span of 12 months i had claimed twice my Mac Wheels ie: Twice the rear one and once the front one, i do not understand why these Mac wheels ran out / Got bent.

                            The new problem with my vehicle is that it is now giving out smoke from the silencer, as this vehicle is a 4 stroke one it should not give out smoke, Giving out smoke indicates to replace the Piston and Block, As this is a newly purchased vehicle why, is the vehicle giving such a problem at an early stage ie: 14 months what is the solution to this?
                            My vehicle no is:MH-31 CT-3457 purchased from Tajshree Yamaha Nandanvan Nagpur, I would also like to inform that as i am mostly out of town, it was possible for me to service my vehicle only once at the respective showroom.

                            At the time of purchase i was provided the information about the Two years Warranty of the Engine, ie; any problem arising in the engine during two years would be covered under warranty.

                            Kind request is made to help to sort out my problem as soon as possible.

                            Hi,

                            I have taken a Yamaha R15 on Nov 10th 2010 from Perfect Riders, Lalbagh Road, Bangalore. I had been to my native Mangalore from Bangalore which is a 350KM ride. I started my journey at 2:30PM on Dec 24th 2010. I was at a speed of 60KMPH and suddenly my bike went on a pothole/ditch on the road and because of which there is a dent and a crack in the rear mag wheel. I was surprised looking at it, since it’s a racing bike and it should be able take more pressure and load. It was 7 hours journey and it took me 12 hours to reach my native.

                            I was very disappointed at this and I went to my dealers to speak about this. They suggested me that they will replace the rear mag wheel by claiming the insurance. I wanted it to be replaced without claiming the insurance. I have spent about 750Rs in getting it repaired and now I am running it with a tube. The rear tyre also got some minor defects due to this incident.

                            For such normal speed if rear wheel of R15 get Crack and Dent, how can I use that bike for long time and how will I drive fast if its not more secure. As we all know about the Indian Roads, there will be lot of such potholes/ditch on the roads. If this repeats with me, how will I use R15 for long time and go for long ride.

                            I have spoken to the dealer and service engineers, they are not ready to agree what I say. They are telling like there should have been some major impact or some accident . Why will I lie to you guys and make a scene out of it. I am planning to post about this incident in Media and News paper. I will publish this in my company bulletin and also go for a consumer court. Few of my colleagues and friends were planning to buy R15 and after my incident they are changing their mind. I have suggested my friends and colleagues not to go for Yamaha R15.

                            If this R15 face this kind of issues, I would have better gone for a Bajaj or hero honda bikes. I have a riding experience of more than 10 years and I have come across this kind of incidents and I have never faced this issue with other bikes. Why only this bike has this issue.

                            Suppose say if I get mag wheel replaced by claiming the insurance, how can I assure that this will not repeat again.

                            I want a solution for this, Does that mag wheel have manufacturing defect or its not able to take more load and pressure. Replace the rear wheel and mag wheel or return my bike money.

                              I have purchased a yamaha Gladiator on[protected] from pkg motors (adoor), pathanamthita (dist), Kerala (state).From the next day onwards itz gear got sliping, i went to the showroom and asked why the bike like this .they told me that the new vehicle has always the same problem during through running the problem will be solved but on 1-8-2008 the gear almost stuck, immediatly i went to showroom and they examined it and then told me that it has the manufacturing deffect in the gear box still now itz in the same showroom .today i went there and got shoked to see my vehicle's stage ! the engine and gear box has splited into more than one part.what a sad senory it ism ! a new engine and gear box has been dismantled .the showroom officials said to me that they can clear the problem .if i buy a second hand vehicle i have meet the problem but a new vehicle how can i afford it now i dont like to use the same GLADIATOR .so i hope u may take appropriate action and reaplace it ( please see the attached photo graph ) i need the reply as soon as possible

                              1) its front wheel seemed to be jamm, it produces sound lint cchhnnnn..., i told that to yamaha technician, he just rub the break shoe with amree paper, & refitted it, after that it makes more sound then they told that this is normal for new bikes, also they told that there is jaming also doe to its oil seal. but do nothing. So tell me wat to do
                              2) some abnormal sound from its fuel tank like some thing loosened.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I have purchased a yamaha Gladiator on[protected] from Pickup Yamaha(Gurgaon).The day on which I purchase first they have given me the improper functioning bike. After my insistence that I would not take as bike engine was producing inconsistent noise. They were continuously suggesting that It is not a problem and will be rectified in the first service. If it was not a problem then why it will be rectified after first service. Then I asked the dealership owner about the problem and then only they changed bike.
                              When I had gone for 1st service there is no lubricant oil(Yamaha 4T) and the air compressor was not working at that time. I have traveled 20 Km again just for filling the oil after bike service.
                              Now it has more than 1 and 1/2 month from the date on which I have purchased the bike but I have not got the number of my bike. Whenever I am calling on their(Pick up Yamaha personal) cell numbers they would not pick up the phone. When I call them on landline number they accept the call. They said that you will get your number with in 2 to 3 days but the day has not yet come. Even I have gone to authority but due to typing mistake(incorrect engine number on the paper) of dealership personal authority refused to give me the number.

                              They are telling that I have gone the Authority where I have said (authority official) that I will give any permanent address which is completely baseless. I have gone to authority with their (dealership agent) and authority personal refused due to give number due to incorrect engine number. On 19/11/2008 they ask for permanent address proof and I faxed it promptly. But I do not have any clue why me number has not come yet.

                              The reason they are embarrassing me that I have refused to take the improper functioning bike on the day of purchase.
                              Even on 21/11/2008 they promised to give the number on 22/11/2008 in presence of a Yamaha official and still on 23/11/2008 I have not got that.
                              Please let me know what should I do and where I have to go from now. I suffered a lot of metal strain due to their irresponsible and amateur behavior. I am waiting for your response.

                              I was the proud owner of gladiator JA model when it launched in 12/2007. Not much problem since 10/08. One day I found the disc in front is getting jammed. Immediately I rushed the vehicle to superservice camp at Trivandrum conducted bt Engineers at Cochin/Trivandrum. Immediately, they replaced the brake shoe. I was told, the jamm will be over by a couple of days. But the problem persisted, mileage came low. During next service, I pointed the same trouble. Then they replaced the kit in the disc unit and I was asked to pay for it. Eventhough it was within warranty period, i paid for it.
                              But even after four months, the front wheel jams at one or two points on rotation. When I contacted the service Engineers at Muthoot Yamaha, Trivandrum, they replied, it is like this. There is no free play of front wheel. Still I am using this JA model with the trouble. Nobody in the service centre could heal the problem i faced. In addition to this, I made another mistake. I purchased one FZ 16 for my son. He was too much attracted to that. Immediately after one week, I noticed the air in my rear tubeless tyre reduced from 36 to 22. Again i tried, but the full pressure lasts only for one week. As usual, I had to approach the service centre. They replied, there may be small pins stuck on tyre and detailed checking is necessary. Is this the style of functioning of a great two wheeler company? l am discouraging my near & dear ones who asks about these products.
                              Last year I had purchased YAMAHA LIBERO G5 BIKE. From the day one itself I am facing lot of problem on my bike, there are

                              1. Enormous sound coming from Head Light doom
                              2. Rust on Silencer, Handle & screws.
                              3. Fuel consumption issue
                              4. Battery back-up issue. Each & every service I have to recharge the battery
                              5. Service was not satisfactory
                              6. More than a liter of Petrol consumed by them whenever if we go for a service. It’s very pathetic

                              I have purchase one Yamaha bike Gladiator SS on 23/ 01/ 2009 from M/s Green Valley Motors Pvt. Ltd, Guwahati. My Bike details are Chassis No. - ME135B[protected], Enginee no.- 35B1032168, Registration no. - AS01AJ1638.

                              I had my second servicing on dated 29/04/2009. But sorry to say that the servicing was not proper. There was mud on the engine. When enquired I was told that they did not have the person who washes the bike.

                              I think that a multinational company like you should not have such improper services. I think I should get better service from your end.

                              I bought Yamaha R 15( Reg.No: AP10AQ1897), from M/s Venkateswara Motors, Somajiguda, Hyderabad. When i had some problem with the bike i was asked to give that at the nearest dealers ie PATNY MOTORS, Secunderabad, for some problem so called fuel pump injection on 18 th of April 09, i was not given a job card for the same.

                              They told me that the part is not available, and was asked to wait for 10 days. And when i approached them today they were not responding properly and blindly say that they cannot assure when the part is expected.

                              I am facing severe inconvienence for the past 18 days .

                              Request you to look into the matter and do the needful immediatly.

But at use I became desperate. A small history. I purchased it from the dealer at Trivandrum "Muthoot Yamaha" since I was working in Trivandrum. When I was transferred to Thrissur I brought it in Thrissur by Train. The exzact date of purchase is 10.9.06. I took extended warranty. I did all services dead on time in your authorised service stations named Cheerans Thrissur and Lima Chavakkad. Now I have covered 30, 000 Kms.Kindly note the parts which ur service stations replaced: Speedometer cable on completing 600 Kms.2) Spart plug on completing 700 kms.3) Oil seal of front shock absorber on completing 900Kms.4) Reserve( petrol tank) measuring something inside the petrol tank 5) 3 times headlight and tail light 6)Alternator not working thatswhy I changed the battey after exactly oneyear and 2 months.7) Self motor on completing 1and 1/2 years.8) 3 or 4 times changed the cap of spark plug. 9)On 3.5.2008 Pistone and cylinder changed 10) 18.5.2008 the silerncer changed 11) 25.10.2008 crank shft and bearinf and primery riven gear changed 12) 16.9.2008 clutch housingh changed 13) 23.5.2008 sprocket chaing changed. Even after all these the bite is under the custody of cheerans thrissur for service due to excessive smoke from the silener and strange sound from the engine. the date is 21.4.2009. After checking they told their helplessness to rectify the defects. I have warranty for this upto69000Kms. Ur engineer one Mr.Jayaraj told me personally that this occured adulteration of oil or petrol. But on expert advice I understood that this complaint occured due to the low quality of oil which ur authorised service stations are using. Concluding. Ur byke the gladiator cannot keep in porch due to the oil leaking from the hole under the silencer. You may understand that the work i mean the swervice done by ur service stations.

                              We are the oldest user of the Yamaha Bikes. Sir we Purchased New Yamaha Bike (Alba 106) on Dated 21 Jan 09 from Geeta Motors Sahibabad (Pincode 201005).

                              After two months the tube of bike damages as per the rule it’s covered in the warranty. So same I went to the Yamaha Service Center (Geeta Motors Sahibabad) & handover this damaged tube, Now that time, the service center Executive (Mr.Dilip) told me that it’s replace with in a week, but after completion of more then one months. His service Executive Mr.Dilip told us that the tube is not replaced. And he is not given a proper reason.

                              So sir I request you to kindly give me a proper solution of my problem.

                              I'm having Yamaha gladiator(disc brake type, 2007 model)purchased at kumbakonam, Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu.
                              I've done all the respected services in yamaha service stations only.But most of the services i'm really dissappointed.maintainance of my bike is good.The problem is with my bike's SILENSOR.They told me to change my bike silensor. i'm ready to change my silensor but i want to know the exact price. why i'm asking is the service station near by me put huge bill every time i went for services.they used to tell me that they have changed some parts..but i'm not sure of that, because there's no effect after making services.
                              I bought a FZ16 in the month of feb this year and from day one it is emitting blue smoke which is not a healthy sign I have brought this to the notice of the service engineer Mr. Amit who is responsible for the area (Gurgaon) but he has nor come to see what the prob is neither the service centre is able to solve the issue. Also the service provided by the dealer M/s Pick Up Wheels having its office near ardee city gurgaon is pathetic they do not have even coutesy to offer water to its customers who have no alternative to buy the same while getting the bike serviced, there is no sitting place either so that one can sit in comfort. I have refused to sign the last two job cards as the bike has not been washed with adequate water pressure( rather i have refused to get it washed ) in the absence of the pressure. If things are not sorted out immediately i will have no other option but to seek redressal from the consumer court.

                              I got myself a FZ-16 last December with great expectations but to my nightmare it is giving me a milage of 27 to 30 kmpl even after the third service. I have gone to the service centre thrice with this complaint but nothing has changed. Please tell me what shall i do?                               I purchased a Yamaha Gladiator Two wheeler ( Reg No: KL 7 BG 181) on 18 Aug 2007 from your company under the exchange offer extended by you.

                              My old two wheeler bearing Reg No: KL 7 AV 2068 was taken over by you and necessary forms for change of ownership and sale letter was also signed and submitted to you. In many of the earlier cases the change of ownership was not executed by you and people who had bitter experience due to the same had warned me and I had given you strict instructions to do the same at the earliest.

                              Now the police authorities have given me a charge sheet for the accident caused by the vehicle bearing Reg No:KL 7 AV 2068 which was exchanged to you.

                              I enquired with the RTO authorities and it was a shocking info for me that the ownership is still in my name even after two Yrs. When I contacted your office to check on the above, it was informed to me that these procedures are being done by a third party (agent) and you are not at all responsible for this sale which was highlighted by you as exchange when I purchased the new vehicle.

                              I would like to remind you that you cannot simply wash off your hands from this issue by stating that this was done by the agent and it is his fault.

                              This agent is the person introduced by your company as appointed by yourself and performed the duties on behalf of your company. If the fault is at his side obviously you are also at fault.

                              In the above mentioned accident case I had to settle the charges on my own towards the damages caused to the complainee's vehcile so as to get rid of the petition filed by him.

                              Hence I request you to take necessary steps to find out the current holder of the above mentioned vehicle and change the ownership into that person's name / address at the earliest. If you are unable to do so I have no other option but to proceed with legal formalities to held your company also responsible for any claims / damages caused by the vehicle KL 7 AV 2068 as it is the service fault from your side and your inability to fulfill the commitments promised to me and to approach the consumer court seeking compensation from your side towards the inconveniences and financial liabilities caused to me due to the fault from your side.

                              2) I scratch the card and won Rs.1501/-, but they did not give immediately. Now, I go there personnally, but he ask to come afternoon, next day dealing man was not there. Now he says that you come before 5 or 5.30 pm. I think this is not good. Why, I should go there again and again for Rs.1501/-, even I spent Rs. 70000/- cash. This is not good practice pls. Dealer's service is very poor.

                              The purchase date of my Bike "Yamaha Fazer" was 24/10/2009.
                              I completed 1month time with 1000kms run & gave the bike to the service center for 1st servicing on 26/11/2009. In the evening, after submitting the bill amount, I found my bike was standing in side carelessly without any improvement not even cleaning was done. That was my first experience with "Yamaha" family. as a proof i got evidences on undone work written back side by the service people with signature and date. I need a strong answer from the "Yamaha India" company for that unsatisfactory work and I demand compensation for wasting my precious time & money.                               Can anyone tell me how to increase the focus of the Gladiator 125 headlight ? When I see other bikes like bajaj comming from opposite with a flashing shower of light at night, I became ashamed as it seems I am going with a lantern hanging in front of my bike.Is it possible to alter the bulb with other company's bulb?by the by, the riding experience of the Gladiator 125 is excellent.I like my bike, its gear system, oil comsumption and everything is ok.

                              actually i am owner of your FZ 16 i really liked this bike i knew it will redefine market positioning of bikes but after owning this i found yamaha is lacking a lot in providing after sales service am facing loads of problem with my bike and till now m unsatisfied and it is not only me, every time i go to service center i find people with similar or same problems but your authorized service provider FAILS to deliver what we want specially GEETA MOTORS (sahibabad) i went to various service station but i think this is worst.
                              if this will keep on like this so yamaha image will come down drastically am doing MBA and i understand the importance of these things which are being ignoring here specially augmented level product.
                              i am not writing this for any compensation rather i really want you to take required steps to make these things better so that we will be satisfied. otherwise from next time many will shift to honda or bajaj

                              the thing they are doing is that they are using the lower engine cowl of yellow bike in which the color the sticker is white where as the color was golden in my bike as it is a black one, and when i asked them why you are not giving me the original color the answer was " we dont have it and we are not getting the original parts from the company", The details of my bike are as follows Registration no UP65AM4808, owners name A.R.Hemla. They were not even ready to listen to my queries.I called them a day before my servicing date was due and they said that you please come tomorrow we will get your bike serviced but when i went there, they refused to do it and started asking me whom did u talk to?? Is it my responsibility to remember there names ??? why don't you have a single attendant for your phone ???                               i have purchased yamaha gladiator on 10th july 2007 since then i have travelled 23334 kms near abt 8000 kms a year. There are so many problems i have faced from the day i bought the bike for exmaple front disk break jam, engine noise, low average and high maintainance. Well its fine it happens i never complained. But two days ago in the morning when i wanted to start my bike it just didn't, i moved it to service station and guess what its BLOCK PISTON KIT is needed to be changed. Now will you plz tel me how come a 23000 kms bike needs a BLOCK PISTON KIT to be changed and i think you know its a in engine and in three years of life span my bikes engine will be treated.Where do you the future of my bike i dont thnik it ll cross five even it will blow hersel[censored]p. I have TVS victor it has never created this kind of trouble so far in 6 years.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have purchased a Yamaha motorbike on 2nd July 2009 (Class MCY, make YAMAHA FZ 16 ST) from M/s Standard Yamaha, Bhopal. The bike could be registered on my name after more than a months timei.e on 17th Aug. 2009. Upon approaching to the Standard Yamaha several times they informed that they have sent the chasis no. (ME121C[protected]) and engine no. (21C1051372) to the RTO on a different name and therefore the vehicle could not be registered. Where as as per the Motor Vehicle Act the vehicle should be registered within 10 days after its sale. The delay in the registration has caused humiliation to me as I was driving a vehicle without registration number because of the shear negligence of the dealer.
                              This mistake could be resolved after a long discussion with the dealer and finally the vehicle was registered on my name with registration no. MP 04 MR 7842.
                              Yamaha has provided some free services to me.when I went for 4th service to another authorized service center, thet told me that your free service is laps.according to them this bike is not registerd on my name.it was shocking for me.they then I went to the STANDARD Yamaha.again they tried to hide the truth, ,
                              However the book (service and warrenty book) could not be transferred on my name inspite of my several request to the dealer. They informed that this particular vehicle has no history in the database being maitained by the company. So whenever I go for free servicing the dealer refuses and informed that vehicle has already been serviced. As there is no record in the central database and no due services are being provided to me I have doubt that whether other benefits like warranty and guarentee etc shall be extended to me. I came to know about this fact when I approached another dealer for free service as I was dissatified with the services provided by M/s Standard Yamaha.


                              Should I go to the CONSUMER FORUM for my complaint???

                              I have purchased Yamaha Fazer on 16th Oct 2010 from Naman Motors Panvel, Navi Mumbai.
                              There is a problem with the convertor in the Bike which we showed to the area manager which he said he will get it replaced once they receive convertor.
                              I had to move from Mumbai to Hyderabad for my job, Here i went to Dealer called Pearl in Kondapur Hyderabad I told him the problem even he said he will replace it, but till date they only say that they havent received the convertor from the Head manufacturing office.
                              Also the servicing of the bike from the dealers is pathetic Or I would say worst My bike average use to be 45 KMP before first service now its just 25. What do you say is that good.

                              I purchased yamaha G5 from Northern Motors Faridabad on 11th june 2009 and got first three free service from them only.My bike frame no is ME15TSOC[protected] and Engine No is 5TSCO11463 .Then I shifted to Allahabad(U.P.).There I got fourth fifth and sixth free service at Grand Automobiles Kanpur Road Allahabad.These services were not at all satisfactory.my bike was continuously giving average of 31 only.Then I moved to another dealer Eldee motors Civil lines allahabad.There I came to know that M/S Grand Automobiles are not authorised dealers and my fourth and sixth free service were not recorded on line.only fifth free service was recorded that too on the name of M/s eldee motors.I felt cheated.My bike is continuously giving bad average of 31 only.Please take necessary action.this is very serious matter.

                              It is your kind and intelligent attention that I am habitant of Asansol zones and I have purchased a YAMAHA FZ 16 bike Reliance Automobiles, Durgapur in 01/01/2009.
                              My bike didn't run long distance because recently I found a problem in it's front wheel, i.e.a air is passes through from gap of tyre and rim. It is not able to hold air for long time, and now it's looses all air within 2-3 days.I visited nearest authorized dealer but they clearly refuse to take the responsibility although I have details papers and warranty.

                              1.fter 10 days of purchase my battery has gone dead i used to start by rolling in gear later they replaced the battery stating that they forgot to put water in it
                              2.my back tyre i.e tube less got punctured and the whole is bigger that 12mm the company failed in replacing tyre. how would a 12 mm nail penetrate in to a 150 kg two wheeler company guys promised me to provide a gum that fix this issue but have not provided till now a year has passed instead i purchased a new tyre
                              3.my speed meter is not functioning at my third service they promised me to replace but they kept dragging for months and now they are saying your vehicle is out of warrenty .
                              4.there is a viberation in betweenn 50to 60 kmps they failed to fix this issue since 16 months

                              we think that there is some manufacturing defect and you are requested to replaced the same at your earliest

                              I had purchased a bike yahma GLADIATOR, SS125 in jun 2010 from modern motors, Angul, Orissa. After two months a ringing sound created from engine.After that i told about my vehicle problem to all staff and mechanics of show room.
                              They told after running of 10000km it will adjust. After running of 10000km i conveyed about the same problem. But they told, Engineer will come and he will rectify.
                              When i was asking to them, when ur engineer will come, they were replying after 7 days. After 7 days when i was asking, they were telling after 15 days.After 15 days when i was asking, they were telling after 10days. Like this they were telling lie from last 7 months. Really i am unhappy and displease on yamaha service of modern motors, Angul, orissa. pls i request to u to rectify my vehicle problem before guarinty period.

                              I purchased one YAMAHA FZ from KAVIN Auto Agency, Nagercoil, Kanykumari, Tamilnadu. I need one Yamaha FZ's handle but I did not getting from this showroom. Today all so I called them but they don't know when it will com. What answer it is ?. Now its 16 days has over. How i can drive whit out handle ?. If he don't know when it will come, then for what he opening his showroom daily. Now I am thinking to skip this bike because of wrong commitment. I am waiting for your response.

                              I have purchased a yamaha fzs on[protected] from pratik motors (mapusa), north (dist), goa (state).
                              BUT i registered my bike on[protected] and it was delivered to me on[protected] at 4.30 pm at evening
                              (tuesday) From the day of delivery on same day after running 10 to 15 kms its engine got break down
                              so i urgently try to call showroom but by the time showroom was closed for the day. so next morning
                              i call them and told about the problem of my bike, so manager told me that he will send his mechanic's
                              to check the vehicle. As he said mechanic's came and check and they found vehicle in serious condition
                              in engine, so they told me that they have to take my bike to service station to check detailed about the
                              problem so i agree to take the bike after taking to service workshop they told me that some part is
                              broken in the engine and they examined it and then told me that it has the manufacturing deffect in the
                              bike so i told the manager that i don't want that bike as it is faulty and replace my bike with the new bike
                              or return my amount. but they are saying that they will repair it and give it to me again but if i want to
                              repair i would have taken seciond hand bike why would i spend so much money on new bike and if new
                              engine should open on first day only after running 15 kms then i have to open my bike engine again and
                              again in every month for repairing then whats the point in taking new bike. i dont like to use the same
                              yamaha fzs. so i hope u may take appropriate action and reaplace it.

                              The Showroom Officials said to me that they can try what they can do n call the engineer from company.
                              i hope the company official's will reply me as soon as possible .

                              And the reason to buy that sepicific bike was the your company staffs and in fact I was about to take cbz stream from hero.
                              Which gives 50 km/l milage any way..

                              Now am in great trap...that your product only giving me 30km/l milage where you are claiming it can get more than 55 km/l ..

                              My bike got 4 services over and only about 9 months older..
                              I told service personal every time to clear this problem and they failed...and today I visited the psn service centre..they told me that they can't do anything...

                              It is a kind of cheeting customers.

                                I PURCHASED A NEW YAMAHA GLADIATOR BIKE AT CHENNAI IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 2007. INITIALLY IT WAS OK.BUT AFTER RIDING 6500 KMS THE FORK OIL IN FRONT WHEEL WAS LEAKING.I WENT TO A MECHANIC FOR SERVICING IT. HE SHOWED ME THAT ONE SIDE FORK WAS OLD AND ANOTHER SIDE WAS NEW.PRIOR TO THAT MY BIKE WAS SERVICED TWICE AT COMPANY SHOWROOM ITSELF.FIRST TIME THEY HAVE STOLEN THE NEW DISC PAD IN FRONT WHEEL AND BACK SIDE SUSPENSION WAS ALSO OLD PRODUCT AND ALREADY USED PRODUCT. SO I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICING. THEY ARE NOT TREATING THE CUSTOMERS IN PROPER WAY.THEREAFTER I AM SERVICING MY BIKE OUTSIDE MECHANICS ONLY.I AM REQUESTING YAMAHA MOTORS TO TAKE ACTION ON SRI MOTORS, OPP TO KASI THEATRE, CHENNAI.

                                I have purchase glaidiator DX 5YYC-BS on 28th jully 2007 & chasis no 07D5YYC001524 from Opal Motors, Hyderabad, Andhrapradesh.
                                Since purchases of my bike it has following problems.
                                1.Shifting of Gears
                                2.Low Pickup(4th gear 40 & 5th gear 50, it will not go beyond that)
                                3.Millage - 40-45.
                                4.Engine overheating
                                5.When engine is cold, we operates to Ist gear bike will gate jumped & gets stoppedwith very big noise like bomb plasting.
                                your engineers from Dealer & company are not able to solve the problem from 11 months.So i reqst.u to take action immidiatly.

                                yamaha wht i say abt them they are the worst in there service, one thing i wnt to suggest never buy any bike of yamaha in india the after sale service is vaery very por, they people harass u, and never give any proper answer and there staff is illitarte they dont knw how to speak with there customer, somehow i purchased there bike fz 16, bike is gud, but there are some problems in it with there tyres, , so plz dont puchased it

                                I bought a Yahama Gladiator - RS in March 2009. Now in Feb 2010. One fine day my bike down which started by itself not by self start but by kick start after 2 days. My RPM meter showed[protected] at normal accleration. when showed to the service center they confirmed that the problem is with the battery and without taking any responsibility they asked me to go the exide battery shop for a replacement and to my surprise found that the battery was dated somewhere in 2008 and the warrenty was over. after i went back to the yamaha service center they said that they willnow do it but it will take 10 days for the replacement and will have to ride my bikewithout battery. i called to complaint and even they were not ready to take it up. if anyone concerned has read this take this into consideration because the battery problem has been noticed in 2 yamaha bikes of my friends.

                                  Few days back I went to YAMAHA service center (PARMAR AUTOMOBILES) located in New Panvel, sector 1-S. I need to replace rods near rear wheels. Their engineer took my bike for a quick ride to check what else is wrong with my bike. He suggested that there is some problem with engine and he need to open engine to investigate in details. PARMAR AUTOMOBILES owner informed me that the estimated cost could be around 3000/- but detail he can tell only after opening the engine. I asked how much to open engine for which he replied nothing. Now after opening the engine he is telling me that total cost would be 8000/-. And now when I refuse to do anything he is charging me 900/- as labor cost. Mean get nothing and pay 900/-. This is a broad day dacoit. Please suggest me how can I bring their shutter down for such robbery.
