[Resolved]  Yatra.com — money blocked while booking air ticket

i was in the process of booking a flight from mumbai to delhi. there incurred some error, mostly a deliberate one, or may be it was a flaw in yatra.com website that i got the message that my ticket money, Rs. 3585 was blocked and then it has not yet been released. when i contacted their customer care, they say it would take 7-8 days before it gets refunded. so it has caused a great deal of inconvenience to me and i urge the concerned authorities at yatra.com to help my cause immediately.

Refund on both the above transactions has been processed from our end. For Ref # [protected] the refund was processed as on 3rd March 2011 and for Ref # [protected], refund was processed on 8th March, 2011. Why not check with your bank for the credit; there might be some delays on that front.

We have now gone through the records ref # PXJ1IE and found that it has been processed on 16th February, 2011 from our end. This credit must reflect in your account soon; if it doesn't please check with your bank.

Yatra.com — not refunding cancelled ticket money

I booked 2 return tickets from bangalore to delhi for journey on 21st jan 2011 and 30th jan 2011 , of all these tickets 3 were cancelled and 1 was used .
But money of only 2 tickets are refunded and for 1 ticket refund yatra.com is continuously making excuses despite my repeated calls.

We regret the inconvenience this may have caused. We have looked into our records and found that the balance refund of INR 3000/- is now processed to your account, post which the be have bank would take approx. 3-4 days to credit the amount into your account. We hope this helps resolve your query.

i was booked rail ticket from yatra.com 9th april 2011 two transaction feiled by technical reason but my money has debited from my account . when i comlaint yatra.com they said ur money comes 5-6 working days . but money could not credit in my account . when i again call yatra.com they said i refunded ur money but today i chacked my account no amount credited in my account my amount is 4625x2=9250 sir help me . what shuld i do this time.

Although, the money will reach your account after 5-6 working days after being transferred (the bank takes that much time), we'd still request you to please send us your ref # so that we can double check and get it resolved ASAP.

We have looked into the records and found that the refund of INR 4625/- each is processed under yatra ref: IN7P8E & S1LP8E on 11th April, 2011, post which the bank would take approx.5-7 working days.Your bank has to update this credit into your account. Would request you to please check with your bank for the credit. We hope this helps resolve your query.

Yatra.com — Fraudulent debit

I booked 7 train tickets to pune from delhi through yatra.com on the night of 24april.
The booking was not successful due to technical error but my account was debited by Rs 10143.I wrote a mail to yatra team with my account statement and debit card no but no response has been made by yatra.

Hi,
My name is Anubhav khandelwal; I had booked a Hotel in manali through Yatra.com on 13th May 2011. They gave me confirmed booking with the Reference no : YT6770641, however when i reached at the hotel on 15th may 2011 the hotel staff informed me that they don't have my booking because they do not have any occupancy in their hotel ( Hotel Imperial Palace , Manali ) . When i contacted Yatra.com they tried contacting me but my phone was not reachable, they told me that they had also email me about the cancellation of the booking. If i m on a vacation and traveling it is understood that i cannot check my emails and there is a possibility that my phone would be unreachable. And when i called Yatra helpdesk the customer care agent put me on an indefinite Hold, i was never given an option for a call back as I was in a roaming location. More over i was transferred over and over again to different departments. In the end a senior rep came on phone and helped me in choosing a different hotel. However my whole experience with Yatra.com was very unpleasant.

And when i asked for compensation for the inconvenience (going from one hotel to another with my family) they just refused it on my face as it was my fault. It was an embarrassing situation my question to Yatra.com is that if they do-not have the booking in the hotel why that hotel is listed on their website and how can they give me a confirmed hotel booking Voucher. This is sheer cheating.

Kindly escalate the matter to the highest authority or please provide me the right channel though which I can escalate the matter.

Yatra.com — No refund of ticket cancellation

I had booked ticket for Jet Airlines with ticket no[protected] date of issue 13/04/2011 from yatra.com ref no [protected]. Because of some unavoidable resons I was forced to cancell this ticket. Jet airlines staff at airport cancelled my ticket with can ref no V 041950 stating can charges Rs 1000/= INR. Staff told me that rest of the payment will be directly credited to your account from which you have booked the same ticket. you have to just give information of cancellation to yatra.com.
Irrespective of so many request to yatra. com and personally speaking with their executive Mr Mann at Gurgaon, I am not able to get my refund money.
