If I have to assign one reason for which I quit a promising career at ComplianceOnline, Bangalore, it is their Director, Priyabrata Sahoo. This SOB is the most complete scoundrel one can come across.

There is no end or limit to his Machiavellian schemes. He knows nothing other than politics and skullduggery. You have to be truly unlucky, like me, to have worked for this worthless backstabber. If you get an offer letter from ComplianceOnline, don’t think for a moment: shred it, or keep it for some day in the future when your toilet tap runs dry.

    Heard of a company that has no idea about how modern day corporates work, and squeezes its employees dry as if like a sugarcane crushing machine? It is called ComplianceOnline. It is the backend arm of MetricStream, which is based in Palo Alto. There cannot be a more disgusting employer in this universe. They don’t know what it is to treat employees as humans. They don’t know that these people have a mind of their own, and they don’t know that the better the care they take of their employees; the better it is for their own business. I got insane working here for a few months. I have bid goodbye. It is one of the best decisions have taken in my career. Let them go to dogs.

      I bought a webinar pack (prerecorded set of webinars) from ComplianceOnline. The company says that I can use the pack for a stated period any number of times. After hearing out just one webinar in the pack of three, I was not able to open the others, leave alone hearing the pack for months on end. What kind of products does the company make? Are they not confident that their webinars are up to the mark? Is that why they have prevented me from hearing other webinars in the pack? The parent company is situated in Palo Alto, CA, or so the website says. I don’t know that kind of business they could be doing the US.

        I enrolled for an online course (webinar) from ComplianceOnline. It cancelled the program due to lack of sufficient number of participants. When I mailed the company about the refund, it is now saying that this amount will not be refunded, but will be used for a future course that I could enroll for.
        This is utter crap and totally unethical. First of all, they treat you as if it is your mistake that there weren’t sufficient numbers of participants for the webinar you enroll for. On top of that, it wants me to wait indefinitely till they conduct a webinar of the same topic. How do I know when that is going to happen? They are not committing themselves to a date. This is highly irresponsible and unbecoming of a company that claims that its parent organization is MetricStream based in Palo Alto, CA.

          ComplianceOnline does a very poor job at mass mailing. Can’t understand why their mails keeping coming to me long, long after I asked them not to send me anything, as their business has no connection with what I do. Still, every other day, there is a stupidly irritating, screaming business mail about some event somewhere on some topic that doesn’t make the slightest sense to me.

          So, you have thrown the ball back to my court!! You were the rascals who took my email id from nowhere without my permission, and now, you have the temerity to ask me politely to give you my id. This is professionalism, ComplianceOnline style!!
          So what if I send you my id? You are going to send me the same mails forever.

          Don’t trust you SOB’s to bring in an iota of professionalism. To hell with you guys. Think of starting some other business where you can be more disciplined.

          I have the exact same complaint and have weeks-ago already entered my email address into their site to stop mailing... But, I still receive emails every day. PLEASE STOP THE SPAM!!

            ComplianceOnline part of MetricStream works in a cheap manager. It pressurizes its staff to such an extent that they are driven to the wall always. I don't know about other departments, but sales staff is always told to achieve absoultely unreachable, unrealistic trgets. Like in pharma sales, you have to make good one month's deficiency in sales figure, the next. if you are unable to meet their targets (even God will not be able to meet them), you are given a dressing down in a really abusive, insulting manner. The higher ups talk to their juniors as if they are their minios. I have worked in sales for a good number of years. Never have i come across a company that lacks basic decency in the organization is by doing the boss'bidding. It is fit to be run by politicians, not professionals.
