I have ordered for a Tablet PC with M/s Datawind Ltd, for a Tablet PC on 20-Nov-2012 Order Number: PM2E4423D6AA and online payment was made through HDFC Bank.
When the said item was not delivered till 31-Dec-2012, I have taken up with the Datawind.
As Datawind has failed to respond properly, on 04-Feb-2013, legal notice was issued before filing a consumer complaint.
Now the company informed that the order was despatched through DTDC with AWB X01814412. DTDC Tracker shows that the goods are "IN TRANSIT" for the last 3 months. When checked up with DTDC they have informed that as a consignee I cannot claim any amount from them. Rather DTDC is willing to pay for the missing consignment to Datawind under their agreement.
