Dear Sir / Madam, We (me & my wife) attended a presentation by Country vacations India Ltd., Kandivali, Maharastra. During the presentation the presenter said that it is a life time free membership. We believed it and paid 60, 000 rupees in EMI’s ( card was swiped before agreement).

We refer to our meeting in Country Club, Kandivali office and would like to summarize our position below in two parts A and B:

PART A: Mis-selling of vacations package to us by Sale Execuitive:-

It is upsetting to know that the Vacations package of Rs 1 lac has been mis-sold to us by your executive. When the package was explained to us by Mr. Tripathy, following things were told:
Payment of 60, 000 has to be done on the spot while balance payment of 40, 000 has to be done in 5 years time.
We would not have to bear any interest on the EMI payable.
Maintenance charge is related to the maintenance of the properties that we visit as part of the vacations package and will be payable only when we avail a trip from the package. He had confirmed to us that no Maintenance Charge has to be paid during the years in which we do not avail a trip.
Unfortunately, we have come to know through you that the concept of maintenance charge is not what was explained to us by your executive. Instead, this charge appears to be related to the general maintenance of Country Club facilities and is computed on a annually cumulative basis regardless of the number of trips made by the customer. Had we been aware of this, we would not have investedin this package as we were never interested in using the facilities of Country Club. We were told by your executive that we are being offered a vacations package and the club membership is being given to us for free along with this package. It was his duty to explain us the concept of Maintenance charges correctly, but he misguided us.
While making the payment of Rs 60, 000, we were told by the executive that we will receive a Welcome Call and an Agreement letter in a few days time. About the Welcome Call, we had been told by Mr. Tripathy that the executive on-call will explain to us the features of the Standard package offered by the Company and requested us not to discuss the specific features of the customized package offered by him to us during the Welcome Call as the Head Office would not be aware of the details of our customized package and the purpose of this call is only to welcome the new customer. Since your executive was representing your Company, we trusted him and did not raise any issue while answering the Welcome Call despite finding some features of the package not in sync with those explained to us by Mr. Tripathy. Similarly, when he brought the Agreement letter to our house, we found some clauses not in sync with the package features he had explained to us. Despite our apprehensions, we signed the agreement on his assurance as he was representing this Company and we valued his words.
Please note that the way this process has been designed (Agreement letter and Welcome Call being delivered several days after making the payment), it makes the customers open to deceit by your executives as they develop a good relationship with us and we trust what we are told by them.
In short, we are very disappointed andfeel completely cheated. We trusted the brand of Country Club and Country Vacations and regret our decision.

In light of the deceit being done with us, we do not wish to continue our association with the Company anymore and request that the payment ofRs 65, 000 may please be refunded to us (Rs, 60, 000 being on record while Rs, 5, 000 being paid in Cash to Mr. Anshuman Tripathy in the name of administration charges for which no receipt was given to us).

PART B: Losses incurred by us due to Commitments made by your sales Executive:-

Furnished below is the break-up of Commitments made by your executive to us:
a) Amount of Rs. 19, 700 (break-up given below) in relation to our trip to Kerala in February 2016 which involved a stay at Country Club properties in Kochi and Kovalam:
· Re-imbursement of flight ticket charges from Trivandrum to Mumbai: Rs 15, 902 (for providing reference to Country Vacations).

· Cash-back of Rs 3, 000 (for providing promised discount on onward flight ticket charges from Mumbai to Kochi due to the delay caused in booking of flight and the resultant increase in flight ticket charges)

· Re-imbursement of Rs 800 (Rs 200 per head for four people): Due to 1 day’s extra payment made for breakfast charges at the Kovalam property. Check-in was at 2 pm on 25th February 2016 while Check-out was as 12 noon on 27th February 2016. Hence, breakfast was applicable for only 26th and 27th February while payment taken from us was for 3 days.

b) Amount of Rs 8, 600relates to the interest on EMI borne by us. We were promised by the executive that he would arrange for adjustment of this amount in the balance payment.

In respect of the above, it is needless to say that we have already shared the proof of these Commitments with you and your co-officers (Mr. Saleem, Mr. Michael, Mr. Nasir, and Mr. Zaheer) at Kandivali and Mr. Tripathy has accepted having made these Commitments to us during our meeting on 25.09.16.

As suggested by you, the Company may choose to deduct the total amount under Part ‘B’ (19, 700 + 8, 600)along with the amount of Rs. 5, 000 administrative charge mentioned in Part ‘A’ above from the salary / incentives of your sale executives (and other executives who may have worked in connivance with him) and arrange for refund to us.

After all such false promises given by your sales team, we are very disappointed and feel completely cheated we would like to cancel my subscription and want a refund my whole amount.

After so many followup no action has been take yet...
Kindly do the needful. we are waiting for solution.
