Dear Sir,

Periodically an advertisement appear in prominent dailies to become a Country Club member and get access to unlimited clubbing. In turn, CCIL branches spread all over India, selling holiday vacation membership along with many other attractions are cheating innocent citizens around charging hefty sums towards their false promises. Most of these turn out to be fake or false commitments. In this particular case I have been writing to CCIL for the past 10 months and now feel frustrated to their inaction. My last mail sent to Customer Care Delhi on 27/11/11 is reproduced as below:
Dear Madam,

Thank you for confirming CCIL commitments to my membership No. CC09DELFCPB30L242.

However, I would like to know the procedure for booking accommodation for 4 Adults + 2Children at Fractional Ownership Condos having 2Bed Rooms, Living Room ,Kitchen, Bath and Swimming Pool at the Country Club Wildlife Resort Bandipur. Since there is no option available on your website www.countryclubindia.com locating Fractional Condos, the Certificate of Ownership now forwarded by you does not cover 500 sq.ft area accommodation at Bandipur. It is understood that at present CCIL does not cater any property to the Fractional Owners. As per Agreement, CCIL has failed to provide following:
• FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP

- Ownership of the property and its deed is not reflected correctly in Certificate No. 242 handed over on 16th November 2011.
- Certificate does not reflect name of Secondary Member.
- Document does not specify details of property covered under 500 sft.area at the Country Club Wildlife Resort, Bandipur.
- Deviates from the original Agreement with CCIL signed on 31st January 2011.
- Kool Platinum Fractional Condos accommodation was shown having 2 Bed Rooms, Living Room, Kitchen, and Bath with semi-private pool (2ft. depth).
- Ownership document do not show usage one week every year for a lifetime.
- CCILs detailed specifications in respect of above property and the privileges extended to the members are not reflected in the Ownership Certificate.

• NOTORIZED COPY OF AGREEMENT
- Notarized copy of CCIL Kool Platinum Fractional Condos Agreement has not so far been provided.
- CCIL under this Agreement had agreed to sell Condos Membership, while it is learnt from CCIL Resort at Bandipur that work on construction of Condos has since been discontinued.
- CCIL has failed to provide Fractional Condos as per Membership Agreement and are liable to refund the membership amount paid towards purchase of Country Club Kool Platinum Fractional Condos, Bandipur vide receipt nos DEL-4243 & 4244 both dated[protected] for an amount of Rs. 2,35,000 ( Rupees Two Lakh & Thirty Five Thousand)
• Benefits and entrance into affiliated properties
- There is no response on their website www.countryclubdelhi.com in respect of making bookings into affiliated properties in India.
- Other falsely conveyed entitlements consist of free Spa Kit including 30 massage treatments for one year.
• MEMBERSHIP FOR A NON_EXISTENT PROPERTY
- Ownership certificate in respect of Kool Platinum Condos having eligibility for 500 sq ft (2 Bed Rooms), Living Room, Kitchen and Bath having a semi-private pool (2ft. depth) attached to Country Club Wild Life Resort, is a non existent property at Bandipur. As you are already aware that project work on construction of Fractional Condos has since been stopped/ discontinued by CCIL, the certificate of ownership tantamount to be a fictitious document containing a number of deviations.

In view of above it may be seen that CCIL has not fulfilled the Agreement even after a lapse of 10 months continuously indulging in making false statements and providing dubious documents having no legal validity.

As the delay and breach in Agreement to purchase the membership is on part of entirely with CCIL, total amount paid towards purchase of Kool Platinum Fractional Condos amounting Rs. 2,35,000 ( Rupees Two Lakhs Thirty Five Thousands) plus interest may please be refunded in respect of above membership immediately.

    Am receiving calls from country club for joining their club many a times i told them that there should not be any calls from country club, i think this idiotic club started begging for members... To join and spoil their family the management of the country club should be kicked on the roads for doing this idiotic services.

    It's always better not to take a membership. Am a country club member. I requested for a 3 day vacation at lonavala country club resort one month ago.now after a month when I all the tickets for journey have been booked they say no availability of rooms now.but when I checked online there shows availability. That is its easier and cheaper for a non members to get rooms than a member..never take membership of country club.I am planning to transfer my membership to some one else at my monetary loss soon

      Dear World Malayali Friends,ref. FRAUD PEOPLE AND MISGUIDING OFFERS Country Club India Limited Resorts has cheated me giving false commitments while offering the club membership. Now, they are turning back from their commitments. They are a big ABUSE on the TRUST of people.
      I am writing this complaint for "Public Awareness" and with an intention of stopping further persons falling prey to the totally fraud, irresponsible and cheat management of Country Club India Ltd.
      Please read my review below before you think of putting your hard earned money to this company... ironically now they are planning to come up with some new methodology to attract new preys.. Please do not fall prey to any offers since these goons are in a look out for fresh victims.Kindly call me on [protected] if one wishes to know the whole story, and save your precious money and time from these cheats.During July 2011, I was approached by Mr. Ram, Executive Sales & Mktg. of Country Club, Yelahanka on the Bagalur Road near Delhi Public School. If I enroll as member before 19th July, 2011, I was offered a special rate as Rs. 80,000 for life time membership that include 10 grams gold, gift voucher worth Rs. 25,000 and 30 massage vouchers. I paid Rs. 80,000 in full on 19th July, 2011 and received the receipts. My membership card is not yet issued and 10 grams gold is not given – as their promise these should have been ready within a month. I have interacted with Mr. Ram and his colleague Mr. Sujith, to know the progress of the Membership Cards and the 10 grms of gold as promised at the time of joining. They are hesitant to answer my calls. Thus, months after months passes by. I now feel that I am trapped by the scoundrels.

      Some of my friends also got trapped in to this like me.
      They also want to write to all leading news papers and TV channels and get their grievance published there. I am writing this review to help other people who are falling into their trap everyday and also find a way to publish it to the whole country so that people avoid country club’s membership.

      If you are still not sure there are lots of grievance websites (mouthshut.com or just search in google.com) where a number of people (who have been cheated by CCIL) have put their sad stories.

      You can also go to http://www.thehindu.com/2006/11/28/stories/[protected].htm which is link to The Hindu Newspaper's official website, where police registered a case against Country Club Resorts.

      This mail is a sincere effort to save people and their money from Frauds & Cheaters who are running this Country club and making money due to our unawareness & innocence.

      Please (forward this mail ) or just inform to all our friends & colleagues in person who are next prey to CCIL and try to save them. You would get thousands of blessings & good wishes

        We got a call on 17th July saying we got selected for a package tour/resort and asked us to collect the gift voucher at spencer plaza. We were asked to attend the presentation and got traped.


        Smart and trained sales men (Karthik & Nithin) cheats people based on the situation and circumstance by giving false commitment.

        (False commitments) …..
        - Membership amount paid is the deposit which will be returned in 2 years with 12 percent interest if you do want to continue the membership.(There is no such refund I think)

        - Don’t have to pay the AMC charges annually, Only in the case of availing a trip for that year you need to pay 6000/- (either you use it or not it is compulsory to pay the AMC cost for renewal)

        - Package contain 14 days where 7 days we could use and 7 days can be rented or gifted to your friends (As such there is only 7 days )

        - Abroad airline cost 20% to 30% Discount (No air fair is free)

        - No charges of package tour – Pick up / Drop / Sight seeing / Room
        (After membership everything has cost associated, for the room they also collect utility charges of 700 which is not communicated)

        - All Clubs has facilities like swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games etc.,Aslso there will be Dance classes & karate classes for Kids during weekend.
        (In Chennai out of 4 only one place has the facility which is far away from the city)

        - During the tour – A cook will be given to prepare the food, we need to provide the raw materials. This is for local and abroad.



        Accomodation - Accomodation will be provided up to 8 adults, (but it seems accomodation will be provided to only 2 adults & 2 kids)


        He still attracted that Medical Insurance of 6 lak (3 for each) is available. So far I don’t have any doc for that.

        Its all well planned, Nithin collected our card saying what type of card it is by the time Karthik showed the agreement and quickly take us through saying these are the things that we discussed and asked us it sign it…. We could only realize the impact after we came back home & read the agreement.



        Nitin said that the for ICICI card they will convert the amount to EMI of 12 months free of Interest & processing fees, but later learnt that there is no such scheme with ICICI Bank.


        I had a bad experience for Booking for Hotel reservations also.

        I asked to book Hotel accomodation at Mysore on 29th - 30 th July , Nitin & Kathik told that it should not be a problem and aksed me to book the Reservations. I booked my Reservations later lerant that the Hotel is under renovation & it could not be booked.


        One more Instance is the Kodiakanal booking, which I asked to book from 13th august to 15 th August, Karthik said that It is booked & you will get a call from customer care later when I called the customer care I lerant that it is not booked & they need our photos & otherdocuments for booking which was not communicated to us by either karthik or Nitin.Except photos I have given all my documents to Nitin , not sure what they have done with them.

        Now Based on all the above facts , I do not want to continue my membership with country vacations & wanted to cancel my membership & want my Rs 80000 refund as soon as possible.

        Till now I did not received any memebership cards which were supposed to get in 4 days & I have not utilized any of your services.



        Please do the need ful & provide my Rs. 80,000 amounts as soon as possible.

          They called to collect free coupons for 7days stay at any of they fivestar properties as a lucky
          winner on approch conviced as to pay RO. 2500/-. and the lifetime membership.I inform them to cancell my membership on the next day and return the money.But they are not returned the money.since last three months. please help us get money back. country club agent tell me you go haidrabad and take your money.iam indians nri. please help us. how to action?

              Dear Concern,

              I am one of the regular viewer of your man to man helping show
              PEHRADAR in CNBC AWAZ. I am herein sharing my heartbreaking story to
              you about most renowned holidaying company country club. The story
              begins in 2008 when country vacation invite us in their promotional
              campaign and i gladly join them by paying their requisite charges. I
              have taken a membership from country vacations kolkata vide membership
              no. DT 570013 on feb,2008. At that time the club has given us a deed
              regarding allotment of complimentary plot in mumbai , Kolard
              of 150 sq.yard on the stamp paper. After that the i have made certain
              payments to the club according to their norms, but when the employee
              (who had collected the payments from me from my residence) left the
              job from the organisation no body comes to me for collection of AMC
              dues.One day I called up the club office but they have failed to
              provide me
              the tentative date of allotment of the said plot. Then I have stoped
              paying the due of Rs.10,000 for my membership fees. I have already
              paid Rs. 50,000 for membeship. Today I had a talk with your customer
              service executive who informed me that no complimentary plot was
              alloted to me as per their data though i have the aggrement paper on
              the stamp paper duly signed by the compamy official.

              This is to be noted that though I have paid Rs. 50000 to the said
              company but i have not used a single holiday or any other services
              from them till date but it is very disheartening to say that even
              after so many reminders , calls ,email they did not turn to even call
              me to explain their views.

                Ccil (Country club vacation) is a fraud company

                Read newspapaper article in sakal!!! Dated 4th june 2011... The truth is revealed...

                Yes ccil (Country club vacation) is a fraud company you guys check out newspaper article in sakal regarding this cheated company. A case was filed and the victim has received the money of 5 lacs back from them. Please run to the courts to get your money back.. Its worth running behind and punishing such people who make false commitments.

                Even i would have been a victim, but my sense told me not to go for such traps.!!

                  country club marketing people were invited on January 31 2011, he is told you me lucky draw winner , please come & collect your gifts at our begum pet Country Vacations office. In this time Mr. Ravi & Mr. Syed sahil had given 90 min story with below terms & conditions

                  1. Life Time country club & country vacations free
                  2. 7 Nights & 8 Days country vacations free in a year
                  3. 6 times function Hall free in a year (Food cost extra, 20% Discount on Food)
                  4. 3 Months Summer camp free in a year for children’s
                  5. 150 Sq.rds flat free on Rs. 90000/- single payment (Including development charges) at Yadgirigutta temple road.
                  6. Cook, Landry, sweeper Taxi with driver free on vacations (Fuel charges Extra)
                  7. Six Lakhs Insurance free
                  8. Health club free at life time
                  9. 20% to 30% Discount coupons on shopping
                  10. Gold Card Membership (Maintenance charges Extra Rs.1200/- Per annum)
                  11. After 2 years your payment returnable your paid amount + min 18% Extra.

                  But i have received

                  1. Life Time country club membership
                  2. 150 sq. rd flat allotment letter at Nijamabad
                  3. Holidays Vacation 2 Nights 3 Days for 3 years only

                  presently no one is responding and i have met them in person in their office still there is no reply.

                  Please help me in in this case

                    I Sanjay Kumar became member of country club on 26 march 2011 & requested then for vacation package but all good options were denied. A list of few poorly rated hotels was provided.

                    A lot of commitments were made but none was fulfilled.
                    I have newer availed any holidays from them.
                    I want my membership cancelled & my money returned.
                    country club says that your money is non refundable.
                    How should I get my money from them.
                    countryclub is fraud, cheat non committal & a bunch of marketing crooks.

                    What are the options? Litigation/consumer courts or any other way.
                    Is it possible to delist, deregister this company & cancel it's limited status in relevant govt. offices.

                      One month back I gave money to get the life time membership for Country Vacations. But till now I haven't received any receipts/Membership cards. I had followed up several time but no response from them. I lost the trust in them. I gave the money to one Mr. Shyam Karthikeyan[protected] who is not even picking up the one.                         I got a membership of Country Vacation (CV) also know as Country Club (CC), which has a head quarter in Hyderabad. I did enrolment at Sarjapur, Bangalore on 26/12/2010. That time they promised me that they will issue permanent ID card which is necessary for availing there services in one month. And mean while they have given a temporary card which is valid for 3 months only.
                        Now as of today almost 4 months are over and they have not given a permanent ID card. And now they are not allowing to availing the services. I made more than 30 calls to customer care in Kormangla, Bnagalore but they are taught to give false promises and false assurances which is not going to fulfil. I just want some stringent action against this fraud company.

                          I received the following SMS on 11/04/11 and on 15/04/11.
                          "Dear S.Chandrasekar, Wishing you a very happy birthda. We would be honoured to host your birthday. Special B'day discounts Contact[protected]"

                          Wish to infrm u tht when the number ws contacted by me the receiverr says he is mysore country club project and he has nothing to do with arranging the b'day party. He gave me the country club B'lore number and they say that you have to contact Hyd office who has sent the message.

                          CCIL agent came promptly to my residence to collect Rs.2235/- towards annual maintanence charges for 2011-12. He also could not help and give the correct information.

                          Pl let me know whom to contact by reply mail and oblige.

                            On 14th feb 2011, my brother SWAPNIL B MUNDE filled a coupon of lucky draw at Central Mall,University Road,Pune. On 16th Feb 2011, we received a call from Country Vacations' mamber,GAURI congratulating that his lucky draw has been selected and was asked to approach the centre at Canaught Place near Wadia College with the family on 20th feb, 2011.

                            My parents with my brother reached the place at 5 pm and met the people.They asked for a family photograph on their webcam. They said he had won a dinner set along with a 7 days holiday tour to 4 places in India charging Rs.4000 /-.

                            They were asked to meet a few more members, SHEEBA NAIR and MEENAKSHI in a presentation which was of 90 min.During the presentation Miss. Sheeba gave the information about Country Club and its alliance with various other clubs and 3,5,7 star hotels in India. As also of the opening of their Koregaon park and NIBM road branch. They were offered coffee after which they agreed on everything they were asked as if hypnotised.

                            All the lavish facilities were being displayed and the various magazines they had published and distributed to their existing members.Then they told us about their two plans :

                            1. Holiday Packages
                            2. Club Membership


                            1. Holiday Package
                            Here they gave all the information regarding their plan for the family
                            a. For 20 yrs
                            b. For 10 yrs
                            c. For 5 yrs
                            herein they said includes accomodation at whichever hotel on tour at minimum charges along eith 5-star facilities including steam bathe,guides etc.....
                            All the amenities available at the Pune clubs were also narrated gym,pools,free VIP passes,massage centre n all...........completely hyped.
                            The Ac and Non-AC halls could be given on rent for 7 times and earing could be through the agents.for this plan we were asked to pay Rs 95000 with a lifetime membership for all the family members with the payment of 25000 as first installment on the spot.
                            we didnt carry the cash with us so 2 of their members came with thim at 9:30 pm at our residence.An agreement was signed on Rs 100 bond paper along with a kuccha receipt and their stamp.The next morning when we called to verify the documents no one was receiving the call...This went on for the next 3-4 days and finally the call was received and Sheeba said we wil mot take the documents until the next 25000 is deposited with them.So we doubt the company and after reading the online complaints were shocked.we have then stopped our check payment.....
                            they ha told us that unless u will not tell we will not be depositing the check with the bank but they had already tried to withdraw the amount.....


                            I urge everyone who has been frauded by this company and are going to take an action against it to get the hard earned money back to please contact me.

                              I went to the Hyderabad office of Country Vacations and submitted a written request to carry forward my weeks to the next year but now after they have upgraded to online status, that week shows as expired and when I try to seek clarifications through numerous emails, they do not respond. They do not pick up the phone and the last time I spoke to someone they said that they will call back. i told them that they had made this promise earlier also. She said that this time she will definitely call back and never did. i think that is what these guys are paid for at the call center.

                              I do not get periodicals nor do they bother to diligently do anything except collecting maintenance fees, one rupee of that, they dont let go. Apart from that everything else they will make you cry. The requests for collecting the fee, reminders etc make it to me but my requests do not make it to them. If I ask them to attend to my previous requests first, they just ask me to send an email. DO NOT get fooled by these guys, I have had a very bad experience, all they sell is false promises and things that do not exist. If you have a lot of black money, these guys can take it off in a flash if you want and if you have a lot of white money, they will squeeze you until you are left with nothing...

                              I would like to file a consumer complaint and take whatever means necessary to bring these people to account even if it means taking legal action as I have had enough of their high handedness.

                              My membership was sold to me by Mr Faseehuddin and Chaitanya at the Amrutha Castle at Hyderabad in 2008. Mannan was the sales tech who had lied without measure and sold this crap to me.

                              If there is someone interested to sue these guys collectively, please let me know.

                                Dear Sir,

                                Me and my wife attended Gold Star Hospitality programme on the New year eve where the salesman Nayaz Alam promised us that by paying Rs. 15000 we will become trial member of Country Club and Mountain Club. Also as being a member of Country Club we can access the facilities of safdarjang club. The trial membership is for two years and if we are satisfied after 2 years we can join a full membership. On relying on the information we paid 15000 via credit card and subsequently he gave us an agreement which mentioned only Mountain Club. On asking why it does not mention Country Club, they replied that the Country Club card will come to us by post.

                                HOwever when we did not received any card in next 2 weeks we followed up with Nayaz alam and gold star hospitality, which then said that the salesman has given us false information to meet their targets. We are not eligible for holidaying in country club properties and we will not get safdarjang club membership as well. They are not meeting what their salesman has promised nor are they returning our money.

                                  I was brainwashed by the polite and sweet words of country club marketing personnels Chennai. They persuaded me to become their member and promised a plot in their mangogroove, free of cost if I become their member. I became their member in 2006, paid Rs.50000/- and signed the agreement for 5 years. I paid Rs.60000/- for the so called gift plot and so far I could not use the holiday home of the countryclub so far and the agreement...

                                  I am not the member of countryclub.
                                  But today i got a bill with my name on it with my correct address, saying that Annual maintenance bill with the membership no : BLMPL8953 and with bill of 10012/- rupees.

                                  Still i am not able to understand, why i got this bill.

                                  I wouldn't have worried if i would have got some email of this kind. but i worried because i got as the letter with my correct name and postal address. let me repeat i am no where connected to countryclub.

                                  What i feel, these are the kind of traps they do with the common people routinely, so that they can get some advantages out of it.

                                  Countryclub: if you are listening, please clarify that i am not member of your club and not associated with you in any kind.

                                    I had taken a holiday package from country vacations but got cheated as they do not have bookings available and the customer care executives make false promises. They don't answer the calls and if they receive it they disconnect it abruptly. Now they are not ready to give the money back.

                                      I am Amit Kumar Shukla from Gurgaon.I have deposited 40,000/- in country club Faridabad in the month of march.till now I have not recieved any paper from country club as commited by them.
                                      They are sending me SMS for 5500/ as AMC which was not discussed earlier.

                                      I did not want to continue the membership of such a fraud organization. can any body tell me how can I get the refund from country club
