Sir/ Madam,

As I have just discussed with your representative ( after umpteen calls to a ridiculous customercare no. Which is never received), my payment of Rs 8094 which I paid via by HDFC Credit card on 10/03/2022, 18:12:08 on your company website ( Zest breaks .com) does not reflect in my account.As asked I am sending you proof of this payment (attached).

Kindly look into this and arrange for this amount to be reflected into my account for me to finish the next years payment which is due. As you will appreciate I can't make subsequent payments unless you solve this problem.

    Unable to reach customer care phone +[protected]
    When tried reaching we will only hear recorded message saying” All officers busy they will reach you back on Registered Phone No within 60 minutes”which usually doesn’t happen
    After numerous attempts they responded once after 3 days post placing request, I had briefed then I am un able to pay ASF and unable to make any reservations for last three to four years as no online facility Available to do the same nor any off line office and they are not reachable on phone. They had promised me that they will send bank details to my mail I’d so that I can do the payment, no mail had been received as of now ( complaint was raised on 08/02/22)
    I need to pay ASF for three years as well make Room reservation for three nights at Pondicherry between 27/02/22 to 02/04/22

      Iam Sukumar N a member of Zest Breaks, a unit of Club Mahindra . Iam a member from 2011 and using my holidays for the last 9yrs . I have paid my Annual Maintenance Fee regularly, even for last year (10th) I have paid Rs8500/- but they gave a number to connect for booking[protected] to a person Poornima . Inspite of calling them 50 times a day iam unable to connect as it always says in IVR they are busy and they will call in 60 minutes, but still now no one has connected and iam unable to book my holidays as it gets lapsed by 31st Jan 2022 . They are deliberately avoiding us not to book my holiday .

        My membership id[protected].

        I have taken zest mahindra membership in 2011. I had repeatedly told the agent i will not be able to use the holidays for the first 5 years as i just became a father. He suggested me to take as the number holidays will accumulate year on year.

        I have not utilized even one holiday so far.

        Having paid 1.8 lakhs and have not utilized any holidays. There is an asf amount of rs 52456 even though i have not used even single holiday.

        Is there any help or solution. Following will be helpful:
        1. Waive the entire asf and consider asf for the remaining tenure of the holidays.
        2. Credit all my holidays into my account.

        Please help.

          Dear sir, emi for my loan customer id from emidukan is only 4216 and i am paying regularly without any gap. And i already paid 6 emi out of 24 months. But this i got a mail and emi that this month emi would be double amount as 8432 rs. Why it is so? Plz confirm and correct it as 5th is my due date. I will keep only rs.4216 in my bank account for this loan. No bounce should happen and from your side emi should be 8432 for this month. Need clarification and do the needful asap.

            I had joined zest in 2011 and opted for 36 mnths EMI where I have completed 32 months EMI. Only one I had the luck to get the Pondy resort. Also the executive confirmed that within 2 years resorts will be coming up in Goa, coorg etc. Till date the same four resorts only available and each time you try to book a room, you are not lucky enough to get the same.

            Hence, I had send a mail to Zest for cancellation of membership and refund my EMI after deducting all the payments for availing pondy resort. Till date there is not even a response to the mails also. Pathetic service

              I became a zest member around 10years back. When ever i call them up, for the rooms as a member, i am informed that the rooms are unavailable for that particular date, and when i call them up as a non member, i am informed that the rooms are available. After having paid such an hefty amount, to become a member, what is the point of getting disrepected in this manner by their customer care executives. Executives like nagaraj, are pathetic and have got such harsh words. I would like them to refund the entire amount along with the interest and penalty for having mentally tortured us.

                We had taken the membership from Zest Breaks- Mahindra Holidays in Dec 2010 for the amount 120741. This was for a period of 10 years. They promised us a holiday of 6 days every year till 2021. At the time we took the membership they had 6 resorts and they promised to add 2-3 resorts every year. We are in the third year and they now have only 5 resorts.We have used 3 of their resorts out of which only 1 was good. We cannot spend the rest of our 48 nights of holidays in the same 5 resorts which they have. We are trying to cancel the membership and They want to return only around 8000 from our original amount although we have only used 12 nights of holidays in the last 3 years.They have sent us the foillowing mail: Dear Mr.Menon, Greetings from Zest! Further to our discussion, we would like to retain you as a Zest Mahindra member and therefore request you to give us an opportunity to give your family and you happy and memorable holidays in the forthcoming years. However, if you do decide to terminate your association with us, please note that the following charges will be applicable. You have purchased a 10years – Buzz membership during Dec -2010.                 Since we haven't heard from anyone from your side, we will be going ahead with filing the complaint with the consumer court on Monday- 2nd september 2013
                Hi,

                There has been no resolution and I have decided to take this issue up with the consumer court. You will shortly be receiving a notice from our side.
                You have taken 113000 approximately from us and want to return only 8000 after we have used only 8.67 nights out of the 60 nights.
                Your calculation shows 11.67 nights, but we lost out on the initial 3 nights as you had not informed us that we need to use them before June.
                We want back all our money and are willing to deduct only for the used nights- 2000X 8.67= 17340 only.
                The rest of the money that is approx 95000 is ours which we will ask for as well as cost incurred in filing the complaint, mental stress caused, inability to go on holiday as our money is stuck with you and also interest.

                The following are the calculations;

                Total cost of Membership – Rs 1, 05, 100/-

                Amount paid - Rs. 1, 20, 741/-


                Deductions :

                6 (a) Admission Fee 60% of the product price : Rs 63, 060/- -We will not be allowing this deduction as you have not kept your side of the bargain by adding new resorts every year. If we had known that you will have only 5 resorts we would have never taken the membership. No one will want to spend 60 nights in 5 resorts.
                6 (b) Regular holidays (11.67 Nights*2000) : Rs 23, 340/-- We have used only 8.67 nights so this is 17340 only.
                6 (c) Down payment discount : Rs 7, 500/- This can be deducted
                6 (d) Non Refundable Service Tax : Rs 11, 275/- If you deduct this then the per night cost should be calculated after this is deducted. You have currently put per night cost as 2000 which is inclusive of service tax. So you are deducting this twice. We will not allow this.
                6 (e) Bonus Holiday Cost : 2000*3nights : Rs 6, 000/- We used this as it was a free offer from your side. If it was not there then we would not have used this.
                6 (f) Food Voucher Cost : Rs 1, 500/- This can be deducted.

                Total Deductions : Rs 1, 12, 675 /– 26340

                Amount Refund (Amount paid - Total Deductions) 1, 20, 741 – 1, 12, 675 =Rs 8066/[protected]= Rs. 94401/-

                If you do not refund this amount, then we will be asking for interest on this from April 2013 as this was the time we first asked for cancellation. Apart from this you will have to pay us the court fees and lawyer charges as well as extra for the mental stress and loss of holiday time, calls made to your customer care center.

                I guess i didn't know this and i am in the same situation as you now Mr.Menon. Let me know if you have had any success and whether we can form a forum to approach the courts as group against Zest Mahindra Resorts.

                  I happened to sign the contract with Zest mahindra in 2010 based on the information provided by the sales person stating that the number of locations will increase starting with Goa this year and followed by other locations.

                  Even after 3 years, the number of locations has not increased. In fact, one of the location (swamimalai) is removed from the list.

                  While checking with the zest mahindra team, there is no propoer response and asked me to upgrade this to Club Mahindra by paying additional amount/easy installment to enjoy more resorts in india.

                  Zest mahindra has taken money not fulfilling the comitment given to the members.

                    I had signed with ZEST Mahindra for a package.Its been more than a year and half since I started paying my EMI. Paid almost Rs.91,000/- till date and I have not been able to even use the complimentary nights that I was offered at the time of joining. Now I cannot dream of completing all the given nights in next 10 years. This is because, whenever I go for a booking, I was informed that rooms were unavailable. On top of this, I was informed, only recently, that on a weekend I would not be given more than one room(family of four cannot think of spending in one room, if we wish to go on a weekend). This was not revealed at the time of signing the contract. Promises of rooms availability for booking in 48 hours prior to arrival was made.
                    Promises were made that more places would be added in 2012. But that never happened.
                    I had requested to cancel my membership and have been following up for more than 3 months. I spend time writing mails(get occasional response that they are looking into the issue) and trying to call the customer care(who would promise every time I call some one would call in 2 working days and that would never happen). Its real nightmare getting into such an agreement. Frankly I did not expect this from a reputed Group. I signed because it was coming from an established group and the risks are low.The amount I have paid is not small amount. I thought of referring some of my friends, in case my experience was good. But I will no longer do so and would ask others to keep away from companies which are so insensitive to customers.

                      Zest Mahindra is one of the worst companies I have ever experienced. My Name is Senthil working as lead at an MNC in Chennai. Back in 2010 Oct i was approached by a Zest representative for holiday package and explained the whole system. At the end suggested he verve (highest) one as i dont have to plan for any black out dates and your bookings will be on priority. I did check on the calendars and other documents and trusted Mahindra as company and signed up for the Verve with full cash payment. I was offered 6 days of bonus at the signup and 6 more days for the following year that can be used in advance.

                      In November 2010 the help desk for a booking in pondy but there was no availability as i was planning for this trip in 2 weeks. Later called them in Jan for Swami malai again no availability for 4 weeks advance booking, then in April i called then for Pondy again with 8 weeks notice they had availability for 3 nights and not the 4th night which is our wedding anniversary night. Got really cheated. They requested me to wait till 7 days before the trip for any cancellations that will be booked, but to my surprise nothing was cancelled until 7 days before so i cancelled my booking. For the last 2 years i am not able to even book one stay with them on my ten year plan.

                      In June i wrote to them requesting to cancel my membership and there was no response until Dec 1st week even after multiple followup and email remainders. Finally one Sai Krupa from chennai office called me and apologized for this issue and requested me to wait for a week to process the refund. I thought at least mahindra is decent enough to get me my money back. Later the very next day she called me and tried to sell me a club mahindra membership where none of these will be an issue. I could not trust her so i did my home work online and the same isssues are with Club mahindra as well. So i wrote back to her asking to process the refund as agreed. 3 weeks no response and again i got a call from Mr.Ebineser and he said that he will look into this and get back. He called me within 15 mins and stated that my refund cannot be processed but he has a friend who is interested in buying this membership from me and he will ask him to reach out to me today on my phone. Why is a Zest mahindra staff refusing a membership refund and selling it to their friends in the open market. He also committed to process the transfer forms without much of an issue. I have recorded all of the conversations. Once i heard this i was extremely unhappy for trusting Mahindra on this transaction.

                      Recently we were in yercaud and i tried calling the member desk from their facility for a booking but there was none available according to the representative on the phone but someone right in front of me was willing to offer a room for 3500 per night. This is ridiculous.

                      Please take this complaint and let me know what ever is needed from my side to file this complaint against Zest Mahindra.

                      For all others please do not waste your hard earned money on these cheaters who will make your feel frustrated.

                        My member ID is 91015943.. Mr . abhijeet, mr. amit kumar and mr. chandan kunar sold the Zest holidays with 100000 of commitments., when I asked them that Now i want to go to pondicherry.. there all commitments failed. After listening I clear cut told them taht I want to cancel my membership and want my refund. Mr. amit kumar was ok with that. now after 1 week they all get away from his commitment. now these three people are harasing me like naything. daily I have to call them and daily these three are ready to fight like nayhting. Please stay away from Zest. specially in bangalore. Whenevr you see them selling their holidays.. just stay away. i will try to pursue this case for long, as i will not let them to take money with fake promises

                          Hi: This one of a Zest Member back in Chennai. One of the best planned Bogus Time Share Resort planning poorly executed from Mahindra's. Had great respect for the Group, but after encountering 2yrs of membership with Zest lost all hope.

                          1. I had bought this time share in 2010. Every time i call them for a booking, all i can get an response is its full.
                          2. Booking are done 4 months in advance, quite surprising world of Hi Tech, we need to plan or vacation within India, 4 months ahead.
                          3. like wise i would have investment in pick and chose option travelling at my convinence rather than blocking for 4 months.
                          4. Now a days things are erractic, we never know when our kids exams are coming and completing and how the hell we would plan our vacations.

                          5. All the reason they have is, its booked and no options.

                          6. The size of the membership is only increasing by the effective sales and marketing team and the fabablous girls who market on every door step of Mall. Consumers, please dont get strayed. These are gulliable people.

                          7. The last 3 yrs, they havent increased the room capacity size in any of the resort, nor have they increased the locations. But only keep on increasing the membership account.

                          8. Not sure if the top management has a clear game plan to steer the organisation in the right direciton, since the name of Mahindra is being spoilt to a large extent.

                          9 . Top of this every year you have a 4500/- rupees to be paided. If payment or ECS is not cleared, they have people at doorstep to collect and take the amount with penality. for each and every default or usage of resort, an additional penality is made.

                          10 Such a blood sucking division of Mahindras, poorly managed.

                          11. All who get the scorn and vengenful bad mouth language is the Call Center executive. She is being bullied by every customer.

                          12. At least give her an increment of 15 % every six months for taking the crap from the customer.

                          13. you have to wait for more than 15 minutes to get connected with the executive, poor response management

                          14. i had written an email, and waiting for feedback for more than 48 hrs, all i get is an instance auto repsonse.

                          15. Sure poor taste of consumer appreciation, and customer service and bad planning, not sure if i would entertain any of these guys with BRAND " MAHINDRA" here after.

                          16. Wanted to check on the refund or the sale of the Time Share, God knows what shock is waiting for me....... Wish i can get my money invested in this damn company without Interested.


                          Things to do before you sign any Time Share:

                          1. Location list, look at minimum of 12 good locations.
                          2. Ask if they are increasing the location ( in written document )
                          3. the duration of the yearly stay
                          4. the swap options
                          5. the membership size of the time share group.
                          6. what the maximum they would entertain
                          7. the refund if they are not worthy of thier service.


                          Bit too disappointed, invested my damn time share in Bogus Zest !!!!

                            Dear Sir,
                            I had purchased a Short break time share from Mahindra Zest in the year 2010. The window period for my stay/ eligibility for stay is between Nov to Oct 2012 every year. I am planning to go on a short vacation between 22nd Nov to 24th Nov 2012 to Masinagudi and i duly called up the reserveration to book the rooms(booking opens 90 days prior).I have been told that i cannot book the room now because as per their system i am not eligible for a room at this point of time. What i am told now is that the window period Nov to Oct is for booking and not the period of stay... I have been completely misled on this.

                            Please help me to resolve this issue

                              DONT EVER EVER OPT FOR THIS MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE A TOTAL FRAUD. YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. A Zest sales rep had approached me 2 months back in Jun 2012 for taking membership in a mall. When I said I was sorry and cant take on the spot decision, he encouraged me to fill up a form and sign and said that he would not use it without consent(in the terms of 'preserving Club Mahindra's name') and gave me till monday to confirm.

                              The following Monday When I sent the mail saying that I had thought about it but still the membership didnt suit me, he called me and said that he would cancel the membership promptly and offered a one time holiday pack of 4 nights 5 days for Rs. 9,200 instead. When I asked that this was not at all in the terms and conditions, he once again said this was a special offer. I still havent even thought of taking it. I HAD GIVEN NO CONSENT, BUT HE WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED MY CARD.

                              Now I see I have been fooled by their rep. THIS IS OUTRIGHT FRAUD AND CUSTOMER ABUSE. FOR TWO MONTHS I HAVE REPEATEDLY COMPLAINED TO ZEST CUSTOMER CARE AND CALLED THEIR OFFICE. THEY DONT DO ANY RESPONSE. ALL THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT EYEWASH. THEY DONT INITIATE ANY ACTION WHATSOEVER. THEY ARE USING THE BANNER OF MAHINDRA TO LOOT THE COMMON MAN.

                              Zest Holidays — Wrong transactions

                              I had intiated the memeber ship by paying Rs 8,000. Then had asked for the 4 years EMI.
                              In Novemeber there was first deduction of EMI in my account for Rs. 3570 on 12th and again 2nd deduction was made for Rs 4,025 on 13th as per the EMI it suppose to be only Rs.3570. Due to these 2 deduction I had to undergo so much of problems in my bank transactions and asked Zes to stop the deduction from that day and revert back all the money.
                              After that i have sent several mails and done calls I have not got any guidance towards this. Can someone help me to get this sorted.

                                It has been more than a year since i have raised the complaint and yet no solution from the Mahindra Holidays - ZEST

                                As i have been harassed from your organization in reference to my booking for Puducherry sent on 17th June 2011 at 21:25Hrs and post response from one of your executive Ms. Sasikala on 18th June 2011 at 15:09Hrs, where they have mentioned that they would not be in position to confirm the room as payment of ASF and EMI for 3 months from April to June is over due.

                                In the afternoon one of your executive had called up and informed the same and also confirmed that due to expiry of my card they were unable to charge my card for the EMI for the 3 respective months. I had asked her to take my card details over the phone but she advised that she would send a representative from the collections department. At around 14:00 Hrs one of your executive had come to my office and got my card swiped for the ASF which is debited to my account on the very same day.

                                In regards with EMI ( April to June 2011) as i would not be in a position to take the total 3 months EMI in one swipe due to the mistake from your end, the same was suggested to charge in the month of October, November and December 2011 and the authorization with my Credit Card for the same was also done with the same executive.

                                I do not understand that why was i not informed about the same in the month of April itself. I had also asked the same to the executive who had called me and she was unable to answer the same.

                                After i received the mail from Ms. Sasikala as mentioned in the above para, I had called the number 30280000 immediately and spoke to her and she informed me again on the payment issue due to which room confirmation is on hold. I had confirmed her that the same has been sorted out on that day itself. She said she would speak with the accounts and send me the confirmation voucher by next day. I did not receive any response till Monday Morning and kept waiting. I had then later called in the evening on the same number and the executive said that the payment has not yet been updated in the system and she would check with the accounts and would revert by next day morning[protected]. As i did not hear back from any of your executives, I had called again to the same number and was updated that still the payment is not updated and she would revert to me before 20:00 Hrs with the confirmation Voucher and she also confirmed that the ASF has got cleared. I eagerly waited but still no one called. I had later called again by 20:05 Hrs and spoke with your executive and again got to hear same and this was enough for me as i have almost paid 75% of my amount with my ASF cleared and cannot acceptt such harassment.

                                Also in the past many a times i had requested a booking for many locations, I faced many challenges in availability, season issue and no response.

                                I had severe issues as i planned my trip and was in a situation with no confirmation on the rooms. This is completely not accepted with a professional organization of Mahindra Group.

                                I would also like to keep you updated that only twice we have used your facility with Once my relative using the same and other time lost without usage. This is to my dismay that after paying so much, I have never experienced the hospitality with Zest till date.

                                I had also to undergo a bad fight with my family as they were not sure on the vacation which was badly needed for us and thus i was forced to book myself for Coorg and was forced to pay a huge amount.

                                After facing such issues and harassment/embarrassment i have no choice but to discontinue my relationship with Zest.

                                Please confirm on my refund of the payment paid till date with also the refund on the ASF charged to me till date. Also confirm on the cancellation of charge on my Card for all further payments.

                                  I took a holiday plan from Zest Breaks, which is also Zest Mahindra, sister concern of Club Mahindra. While selling the plan, they showed me the moon, while i wanted to go for holidays, the resorts were always full, how can a working class plan in 2 months, we can plan a holiday 15 days ahead, but still they dont give you rooms, and would suggest to go another resort which you dont want to go. Finally i said please cancel my subsription and send my money back, still they are yet to come back to me.

                                    As per the scheduled appointment i met with the zest break, mahindra holidays associate shrikant ([protected]) to know about zest break. He provided me with all the details and also informed me about the offer being given to first time customer converted into member. I told him that i would confirm only after discussing with my family but he insisted on atleast filling the form. His reasoning was "there is a form called as"credit card declaration form"stating until this form is not filled my application would not be processed as no payment would be possible. And its the month end so it would be possible for him if i can confirm him over the phone he will process the application and would later come to collect the credit card declaration form." after discussing with my family, i informed him through sms (Which is still with me) mentioning not to go ahead with the plan. Later, after some round of discussion i insisted him to cancel my form. Based, on the trust of mahindra group i was worry free. Suddenly, on 14-oct-2011 i got the message of rs. 4000 being deducted from my credit card. Unaware of the transaction i called the credit card cell to ask about the transaction. I was surprised to see that the transaction was carried out by zest holidays. I immediately called shrikant ([protected]) highlighting my concerns on which he committed to get by to me by 15-oct-2011.in a situation of no response from him i called zest bangalore branch manager, sujith sebastian (Marked as cc in this mail) on 16-oct-2011. I mentioned him everything as above and also asked about the refund. He committed me that my money would be refunded by 28-oct-2011.
                                    On 31-oct-2011 i was further taken by surprise by zest break when i received a welcome call from zest. Again, i mentioned everything and i received the commitment that the issue would be taken care off.

                                    In this scenario i see a major flaw in the zest break commitment towards customers and their possible illicit activities either the "credit card declaration form" was filled and signed fraudulently or information were not shared completely with customer in this case its me.

                                    Today is 7-nov-2011, till date nothing has happened. I don't know what is the escalation channel and who will finally look into it to ensure the return of my money.

                                      Here i am the citizen of India , belong to Pondicherry resident . Here by as the duty every citizen i am posting the anonymous activities , what going on both internally and externally in Mahendra beach resort.

                                      * They are spoiling the Indian culture in the name of entertainment . Infact they were using the government property ( Sea shore ) for there commercial purpose. actually the beach belongs to the local resident ( Narambai ) however , the resort not bearing any financial assessment to that village.

                                      * Above all , being at the corner of pondicherry , they are hiding from government eyes. In reference many Murders has happened , about to my reference it has been increasing day by day . Upto to me its 4 to 5.

                                      I am posting this here , because as the citizen please take part and promote this ...then can gov. know this.

                                        Zest Mahindra is one of the worst fraud company I have experienced. My Name is Sathish working as Delivery Manager at Wipro. I had a worst experience with this company in 2010. I was approached by one of there sales agents in chennai at my office and was offered great offers about 12 free stays over a span of 10 years for about 65000.

                                        I as pampered by their agents are happened to sign the deal. I started with my first installments of about Rs 10000 and then it was a can of worms experience. The deals which was mentioned in the pamphlets were not found in the signed documents and the moment it happened and I realized that its a fraud, I lost my Rs 10000 as my first installments. In spite of multiple mails and calls sent to their office, I never got the proper response and there managers were not available to take the call and hear my grievance.

                                        FInally, I decided to take the matter to court and found that in the agreement some where its mentioned that the amount is not refundable and this these guys are taking such advantages and putting trap for all the customers.
