On 15 may 2016, i got a call from country club saying that you have been selected as lucky draw winner for dinner set and some additional prizes. For collection i need to come along with my wife at country club in mumbai, kandivali west
So we went there for the collection of our price. After reaching their mr suraj and chand of country club attended us & told us to attend the session to know about country club after which we will give you the free gift.
Mr chand explained me about membership charges.
They offered 10 yrs membership in rs. 1, 40000 thousand/-. I told him that this is very costly & i cannot afford this. Then he offered 72 thousand/- for 10 years membership. They promised me that would convert this amount into 2 years emi, but they never informed me the transaction fee and interest facility that they had. They said that they will convert the amount in emi’s installments and will refund the interest amount of rs 10 thousand also i was not informed that the annual fee is of 8000/-
Based on this i gave them my credit card for payment of rs.72000/- from my hdfc credit card & to covert it in 24 months emi. After payment they ask me to sign one paper but not provided me enough time to read the same. So i signed by going through some terms & conditions. Upon the confirmation call i got to know that there in no emi facility is given i’ll have to pay all the relevant taxes which will occur according to the rbi bank, apart from that the verification caller informed me about the amc which was again a shocker for me, also i have a 2 kids one of them is over 12 years of age, and as per their agreement copy kids will be considered below the age of 12. I did not complete the verification call which was made from their hyderabad office, i told him to stop this service immediately. Then i was given one of the managers number, mr michael. To follow up on the refund, it’s been a week he’s trying to avoid my calls and giving bull excuses. I am going to wait for another one week for my refund or else i’ll have to take local police help and to file a fir against this fraud people.

Same happened with me, on 31 December while enrollment I deposited AED - 1000/- (Rs 18500/) they asked me to pay remaining amount within 3 month and if not paid they will return my amount paid while enrollment... after two month as i am unable to pay remaining amount I contacting their customer care and other officer they told amount is non refundable ...and denying to give any facility or refund of amount..During this period i have not enjoyed their any facility

I have taken membership from their Abu dhabi office...and one more fact...In Abu dhabi there is nice Country club of Abudhabi who does not have any relation with country club of India but they not giving clear information about that so customer feel it is same club of Abu dhabi...Thus they are misleading customer at the time of membership. Please advice me can i go local police to refund my money which i paid.
On May, 2017, I had received a call from Country vacations, Ghatkopar Mumbai office (now closed) (Mr Salman / Mr Riyaz) saying that you are a lucky draw winner and there is a gift awaiting you and you have to come with your spouse. Then, there was a session which went late night till 11.00 pm and we were not interested in any of there scheme but still they were bringing many options to influence us. Finally we were trapped by their marketing technique and they asked for the debit card. I said that payment will be done later but they insisted to pay immediately and took card from us and swiped immediately for Rs. 40, 000/-. Since then I have been following up with Thane/Kandivali and Hyderabad office (Mr Sagar / Mr Michael / Ms Sandhya / Mr Ismail) for the refund which they were refusing early and later agreed. But, since they agreed, now its almost 8-10 months, I am hearing from them to "wait" but no progress. This long wait is still not over. Please provide me the refund soon or else I will have to take some appropriate steps (police complaint & politics) for my justice.
