My name is Mukesh Thakkar and contact number is [protected].

I have paid the sum of 70000 for membership and 40000 for AMC for 5 years. I was told that we do not need to pay anything whenever we need to use the vacations deposited for 5 years. Now when I am trying to book the property for vacation, there is a demand of more 1500 per night. In addition, the resort hotels are not as promised. We were promised premium properties and 5-7 star hotels. This is sheer cheating, malpractice to fool the customer. We were also awarded Country club membership and told that they will invite to celebrate birthdays on their properties, but not even getting an SMS.
I am trying to contact their representative but they are giving irresponsible answers and then stop picking up the calls.

There is no response from amc department nor or the calls connecting to the customer support. Pls resolve this at the earliest

I, Chaitali Das started a membership plan with Country Club by paying a sum of Rs. 25000. But later on due to some personal problems, i wanted to cancel the membership. So, the People at Country Club offered me to give a holiday package of 6nights and 7days by adding a sum of Rs. 5000 more. So we made a agreement by paying Rs. 30000 in total in which we will be given a holiday package which will be valid for 10years and more. But now, when we are trying to claim it, no one seems to be interested in helping us. Moreover they are cutting the call and also one said, i have to pay more 70, 000 and Amc charges as well to avail the benefit which is nowhere mentioned in the agreement.

I wrote to country vacations team for booking a week and that time the booking was available. But they had been forcing me to buy food package, so I had to write email to their employee to get a waiver on food and confirm booking. Even online on their site I have to forcibly buy food package even though I do not want food from their resort as its of very bad quality and they do not provide jain veg food of good quality.

I have paid 30 years of vacation and full maintenance of 30 years so I should not be forced to select any food option online for their own properties or properties booked from their site but should be optional.

Request your intervention as this was not the clause when I had paid and took 30 years of vacation and this is not legitimate.

Kindly look into this matter as soon as possible.

Country Vacations have taken 1, 55, 000/- for a 30 years membership for 7D/6N holidays across their resorts/ tie up properties. Additionally they have charged the complete AMC upfront amounting to nearly over rs.1 lakh.
Now none of their phones are working and all of the mails are bouncing as undeliverable.
There is no way that we are able to contact these people. We wanted to avail our holidays and also transfer some unused holidays to DAE.
Once lifetime AMC was paid, now there is no response from them. They are wrongly showing our unused holidays as expired and are also not reviving as promised.

The company does not respond to calls made at all numbers available on internet. They should refund total payments received

I have taken a membership for Country Club Resorts and the membership fee is Rs. 50, 000. They have a cool off period of 10 days where in we could cancel the membership and refund will be initiated within 120 days after deducting Rs. 4500 from the amount paid to them.
I have send them a request to cancel the membership within 3 days which was delivered in there office in Hyderabad within 6 days.
Now it's 115 days from the date of purchase and their Cochin office does not have a clue about my refund.
Need your advice on this.

I stopped paying my AMC since 2020as the service was poor. But this year your Bangalore staff cajoled me and made me to pay this year's AMC stating that they are vaiving previous years AMC and carry over the lapsed vacations which I did not use. They said I can avail totally 30days (including my unavailed holidays) before sep 2023.Beliving their words I paid 8000and took four nights leave and to celebrate our birthdays on 10th and 12 th nov We booked our stay in Jade resorts.Due to cyclone threat I asked Ms Archana of Bangalore office to postpone my holidays to Jan 29and 30 of 2022. For which she said I can take only six nights per annum in such case how can I take my unavailed holidays .before taking the money they promised I can take entire one month before Sep 2023 Now they say it is not possible .It is a clear case of cheating

Today I paid 9000 for country vacations I want my refund on urgent basis u all are fraud and ur staff is also fraud

Tourism in India is on increasing trend and lot of companies are now engaged in the business of providing support services for the same; Country Vacations (A Unit of Country Club Hospitality and Holidays India Ltd.) Registered office at Amurtha Castle, 5-9-16 Saifabad, Opposite Secretariat, Hyderabad - 500063 is one of these kinds of company.
This company is indulged in unethical marketing practice; trapping customers by giving false commitments/assurance about services and stealing money out of their pockets and when customer is reading thoroughly the agreement, he felt cheated by not finding most of the things in agreement but by that time he could not do anything because he himself has signed “One Sided Agreement” with company.
Detailed narration of my complaint is as under -
This complaint is related to false commitment done by representative of M/S Country Vacations (A Unit of Country Club India Ltd.) and cheating of Rs 2.42 lacks (Rupees Two lacks Forty Two Thousand only).
Following are the commitments done during discussions for purchase of 30 years package @ Rupees 2.42 Lacs and based on verbal agreement when we entered into the written agreement; we don’t find following facilities -
1- “Country Vacations will give us total Four membership cards for “Life Time” of COUNTRY CLUB; one for my-self, one for my spouse, one for my daughter (DOB 16/06/1989) and one for my son (DOB 07/07/1992): - But when we see cards on website we found that my son’s card is having validity till 07/07/2017 only and my daughter’s card was not there. Immediately we contacted representative of Country Vacations and he told that under special case he has to get approval from his seniors and I need not to worry, whatever he has assured; will be delivered to me. Unfortunately after chasing him for long five months till now we have not received life-time membership cards for four members. Please look into it.
2- Regarding complementary gift, we negotiated with representative of Country vacations and they agreed for “Four members To and From air ticket to Dubai, Stay, Food, site seen, pick-up and drop” will be arranged by Country Vacations on free of cost basis (excluding tax). (This has been written by one of representative of Country Vacations on page 10 sheet with his signature; what he did smartly is instead of writing Dubai, he mentioned “within India” without my knowledge) But same is not mentioned in agreement letter. When it was brought to the notice of Country Vacations, they verbally accept but not delivering any written documents for the same.
3- One more gift tour was assured to me for 7 day/6 night stay in any of 6 city in India @ Rs.4000/- or in Thailand/Indonesia/Thailand @ Rs.7000/- (page one of scanned copy). I requested representative of Country Vacations to write this thing on their company’s letter head because this page was crossed and I may face problem when I will be there to avail facility. As usual they said, they will certainly do it but still not delivering this document on letter head of Country Vacations

4- After so many communications, they insist to give one year AMC charge and assured me for following, through mail dated 18.12.2020 –

Dear Sir/Madam, I am chasing since last ten months to fulfil the promise which they have made on 18.12.2020 but all in vain, in reply of my today’s mail they have written that –

"Dear sir,

As per the communication Previous Amc charges due will get waived off
Amc charges have been already updated upto 2022
Expired domestic holidays already activated International stays will be done Asap
Food coupons are complimentary issued last year itself Not possible of Re issuing."

But same has not been updated in their website.
We request you to kindly intervene and instruct Country Vacations to ether fulfil 100 % of what Marketing person has committed for; or return my entire amount which was paid in 2015 with interest. So that issue can be resolved amicably.

As discussed yesterday, please go through the trailing mail exchange between me and Miss Jancy. Yesterday only I sent her trailing mail after noting a huge discrepancy. I have been told to connect you to correct this point which says -

Dear Madam,

Despite regular follow-ups and requests through many emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages you are not resolving my both issues. I have all written communication with me and left with no option other than to opt for a legal route.
As a last attempt from my side to find amicable solution, I once again request you to fulfill all promises you made ie -
1- Waver of balance AMC Amount
2- Validity of present AMC amount till December 2022
3- Activation of all foreigh trips
4- Food coupons of worth Rs 25 K with validity of two years

I have paid Rs.5 lacs for life time membership fee and plots ar various locations, but so far they have not yet handed over any registered documents.

I have visited Country Vacation on 5-Oct-2019, and I have paid Rs.10, 000/-.
But I have applied for a refund after 2 days which is on 7-Oct-2019.

I am Mantu. I have paid INR 1, 40, 000 for 10 Years membership in country club on 23rd Feb 2020 .
It was said that the amount will deducted on a monthly basis for the next 12 months. However, it was deducted in one go without EMI.

It was promised to me that I can cancel the membership after 1 year.
I have been trying to reach out to them from last 6-7 months. However, they said it's non-refundable and disconnect my calls without answering any further queries.

In the document they provide it has mentioned that I do not have to pay annual maintenance fee unless I have availed for that year. But in the mail it is written that I have to pay annual maintenance fee. Still I am getting mails to pay AMC. I have contacted the Trivandrum office manager Baiju and another guy Titus many times for the cancellation. They keep on telling that cancellation will be done and it’s been more than one and a half years now. Now they are not picking the call as well. I need the whole money + compensation for the pain I have suffered.

We live in Udaipur, Rajasthan. We had been called to Country Club office which was there in Mangalam fun square at the time of taking membership (please note, the office is not there now, no idea where it is now in Udaipur) for some free gift thing and then made to sit through their entire presentation. After saying no to their package a lot of times, they did not let us go and kept luring for less and less package. So finally after a lot of discussions we agreed to take the package. Because they were not allowing to use phones too, we could not find out how much of a fraud this company is!
So this all happened on 1st November 2020. We had paid them Rs. 35, 000 as first installment to them on 1st November. But then we realized something was fishy with this company, so we decided to cancel our membership. As per point 33 of their application, there is a cool off period of 10 days for cancellation of membership in which they will cut Rs. 3800, and refund back the rest of money within 120 days. So we posted the cancellation letter with all necessary details on 4th November, which reached Hyderabad well within 10 days. But there was no response from there. So we talked in the office in Udaipur, they asked to wait for 120 days. There is no working customer care number on the internet of that company which is extremely frustrating.
So even after 120 days had passed, we did not get any communication from their end. We decided to approach the office in Udaipur, only to find out that its no longer there! After a lot of effort calling here and there, we finally found one working number to customer care, and called in.
Now they very stupidly said that in November 2020 it was lockdown period (there was no lockdown), so there was no staff in office (a wow thing for a customer care head office of such a big company!). So they don't have any cancellation letter. Now the fun part was, when we told them to find out, what they did was went onto the indiapost website, filled in the consignment number and found the response to be "consignment number not found", and forwarded the same screenshot to me over mail. So I tried to give them bit of a teaching that the india post website does not show details of a consignment which has been delivered over 120 days before. And as I said, 120 days have already passed, so how will the website show you the consignment details!? I mean you are the customer care, you should know at least this much! Anyways I emailed them back, but in vain. From then, no one is replying back, neither picking up calls there. So now our Rs. 35, 000 is stuck and we immediately need them back in any case. This fraud is not acceptable. I dont understand how this company is still operating freely despite so many fraud complaints against them!!
Please please help us get back our money. We are within time of their refund policy despite that they are not refunding, or even replying back.
