Extremely Disappointed with GT Holidays Gross Negligence Cost Us Over 1 Lakh

Our Darjeeling trip with GT Holidays ended in complete chaos due to their sheer incompetence and poor decision-making.
On the return journey, we were stuck in traffic. The driver proposed an alternate route for ₹3, 500 per vehicle. Instead of acting responsibly, the GT Holidays coordinator wasted time bargaining and finally refused, claiming the traffic would clear. It didn’t. We missed our flight because of this negligence.br...

On 10/09/13, i receaved a call from ANIL MALHOTRA (CONTACT NO.[protected], telling me we are selected three person on the basis of online shopping namely site SNAPDEAL.COM, FLIPKART.COM and you are the one of them for getting gift 1. dell laptop 2. HCL TABLET 3.IPHONE 5 (i have to chose any one). As i genarally purchased from tose site, so i belive them.Then he telling me that you must have to deposit Rs 3999,the gift (i was chossen iphone5) should be deliver within 48hrs,in the account details : ACCOUNT NAME: FUNCITY HOLIDAYS PVT LTD. ACCOUNT NO.: [protected] BRANCH : MAYUR VIHAR PHASE : 1 IFSC CODE : ICIC0006297 i deposited the money on the day within 1hrs from the time of receiving the call. after that they call me and taken a address 3/37, JATINDAS NAGAR, BELGHARIA, KOLKATA-56 as shipping address and ensure me that product should be deliver to you on or before 13/09/13 via first flight currier service. but still i have not yet recevied the gift and the given phon no. switch off from 13/09/13.           I got a call from [protected] on Thursday 22 july'13 in the evening telling me that if I chose a holiday package of Rs.3999 , i will get an assured gift from 4 choices they had given me, I agreed and chose for an apple iphone 5s and booked in http://www.funcityholidays.in/ for a holiday package of Rs.3999 and got a confirmation mail from [protected]@funcityholidays.com saying that my booking is confirmed and the person on [protected] said the gift will reach me within 48 hrs. after that the next day i called to the customer care number he had given me [protected] .they said yes ur gift is despatched but we ddont have tracking details. from that day, i m following with them regularly but no improvement.please help me resolve this.

            Name of the company is Fun City holidays.This company is a fraud, lots of consumer complain are being filed against the company . You can google it out. They are also not retuning the payment back. Since this site was connected to your payment gateway I trusted it but now came out as fraud. I want you to take immediate action on this site since this incident has impacted the image of your company.I have seen you gateway in many good sites like free recharge, infibeam, flipkart that is why I trusted this Funcity Holidays also, but it came out to be worst.
            Please take action and suggestion if anyway I can get back my money
            Mr Anil Mathur call me([protected]) 2 aguest 2013.he told me about fun city holydays. today you selected as a winner and company decied to give a copon to stay hotel for 2 days three night across the indai with prize dell laptop i booked membership on funcityholydays.in website their told me click by click to next step.is that final i pay by my credit card in hdfc bank3999 Rs thee thousand nine hundred ninty nine he told me the product sent sort time.
            The company funcity holidays is engaged in the false promises
            My 3999 Rs are still not refunded. I want to report the matter to the cyber cell complaining fraud Funcity holidays and Its payment gateway providing site TechProcess Solutions Limited

            Its not only me who is victim, there are 40 to 50 persons in my knowledge from odisha who have been cheated in the same way.

              Funcity holiday pvt ltd. call me and they gave me a good deal of laptop and 2n & 3d booking in India. The voucher was for 6000 IND. So i paid in HDFC Bank . after 1 week i started calling them about my parcel and voucher, they said that ur parcel is already in dispatch....
              but 2 week passed...parcel neither voucher was there. i started calling them but than they said because of technical problem in laptop we had send ur laptop in japan. so ur dispatch will b there in a month. i was nerves bcoz it was my pocket money.
              i tried to call them they were not responding me. after 3 months they send me a Voucher Code Request Form. But that was totally fake form there was no address is that form only the formalities were there.
              so its a high time ,not only me but many ppl are being fool of this voucher

              Hi,

              I too received a call today informing about their fabulous packages and how suddenly out of nowhere I became their 'Lucky' customer even though I had never heard of their existence.. But, thank you guys for posting your experiences and enlightening innocent customers from being duped by such fraud companies.. So, now I realize I wasn't lucky when they called but I feel lucky that I researched and stumbled upon these reviews :)

                2. After communication done with Rahul Panday (senior Manager ) FunCity Holidays regarding Dhamaal offer of 5999 I made a payment.
                3. After that if was inform by Rahul Panday you will get welcome kit within 24 hours.
                4. I wait for two days then i called on Monday to Rahul Panday he told will check & let you know. But that day he not called me.
                5. I drop a mail on 15th April- 13 to [protected]@funcityholidays.co saying that Order is : FUN68599589

                6 they replayed to send me postal address.
                7. i gave my postal address.
                8 After that daily since 17th April i am doing regular followup with Rahul Panday but daily when i called him some other person pick up a every time & say's me Rahul Panday is in meeting he will call u back. but he ahd never called me back.
                9 On Saturday 20th April 13 when i called Rahul Panday , He transfer the phone to Mr. aditya (from Sales Dept). He told there is some issue but you will get the kit with in 24 hours & dont call again.
                10 Today i did call that time again other person pick up the call & said Rahul Panday is in meeting .
                11 When i again make a call after 1 hours the answer was same.
                Till now i have not received any well come kit from FunCity Holidays. As they have taken money from me of amount of 5999.

                I am dam sure FunCity Holidays is a fraud Company fraud Company fraud Company

                  This is my letter sent to the company puting very mildly my anguis and their deceit.

                  Dear Aneesh,

                  This is a recap of my dealings with your company since mid December.

                  1. I recieved a call from your company around 16th December, and was told that as i had made a online purchase from the Times Group, I was being offered a Holiday package for Rs. 14999/-of 8 days and 7 nights at a 5 Star Hotel / Resort in India Malaysia or Thailand. I would also be given a Laptop of a reputed brand. I was planning my anniversary in Thailand, which is on Feb 11th, and asked for the Hotel names. I selected W Retreat, at Koh Samui, Thailand from the list forwrded to me. I made the payment and my worst Nightmare began.

                  2. Several calls were made be me to your staff each staff time a different person and a new promise was made. In this process I spoke to 1) Rajveer Singh 2) Pooja 3)Dev 4) Aneesh 5) Samar Chohan 6) Niketan Sharma 7) Rohit. Probably a few others who did not disclose their names.

                  Apart from the above many who would hear my name and disconnect.

                  3. Ms. Pooja called me to tell me that she would require my Postal address to despatch the Laptop and the Holiday Package vouchers.

                  4. I had in the mean time sent my preference of Dates and Hotel alongwith Address Proof and Identity Proof.

                  5. Each time i asked for a proof of booking or a written confirmation i was directed to a new person.

                  6. Each person would state that he is taking my bookings and i should contact him only and would give me a "Personal Mobile" ( every body gave me the same number as his personal no., which i later found out on the web site. ).

                  7. Several calls and Promises later Mr. Aneesh was perahaps the first to tell me that i would not get the laptop as there was a Referal System. He sent me names of Hotels of other than the one chosen by me, in case it was not available for the dates i wanted. I rejected all the hotels suggested by him.

                  8. After which came Mr. Samar Chohan, who said at Rs.14999/- the Hotel chosen by me would not be possible but if i paid Rs. 5999/- more he would assure me a booking at W Retreat for the dates chosen by me, which i paid. He went a step further, in a couple of days he called me to say that my booking was confirmed and took my address to despatch the documents. I received a call telling me that my documents confirmiing by bookings were despatched. All the while i kept saying that i needed a soft copy to go ahead with my flight bookings. Mr. Chohan went a few steps ahead and suggested that i do flight bookings with your company, for which he quoted Indigo Rs.68000/- and Thai Airways Rs. 60000/-. i shudder to think what if i had made that payment trusting him, as i found out later that tehre was no booking and nothing was despatched to me.

                  9. Than it was Mr. Niketan Sharmas turn to have his fun with me. He heard my story and said how sorry he was and he would certainly do my booking. A few calls later he stopped taking my calls and put me on to Mr. Rohit, who he introduced as his Senior.
                  Mr. Rohit had his share of fun asking me to wait for a couple of days while he did my booking. When that did not materialise he said he would REFUND my money and i shoul email him, which i did promptly. Again it was Mr. Rohits turn to do the vanishing act, and after a couple of days, today,
                  i was put on to Mr. Aneesh, who greets me and says i am doing your bookings for May.....

                  10. After an animated talk with Mr. Aneesh today he said i should email once again with my account number ad would get the Refund in 15 days....

I booked that package and during payment wrote in instruction column “under laptop offer” and made the payment (Order Id No. FH00132). Then, there was a call from the Branch Manager Mr. Singhania since you have written the line in instruction the order became wrong. He requested me to make a new order for the package correctly with nothing written in instruction, the first order will be cancelled as soon as we get your second package request. I did the same and booked the same (Order Id Fh00133).
                    Its has been 2 weeks for that transaction, I didn’t got a single call from your side regarding status of my cancelled order and confirmed order. I am daily calling to your customer care but they always reply “in process”
                    Please update my status of my order, gift and reimbursement of cancelled order.
                    Lots of online orders I made prior to your company , but the experience from your company has created an impression of “never to do it again ” in my mind.

                    Since this comment is coming as second otion in Google search, I am cautioning anyone who wants to buy any package from FUNCITY HOLIDAYS. Its a fraud company, you will definetely gonna get nothing after paying, lots of consumer complaint any FIR are been laodged against the company. I loose 12000 Rs to them. I also lodged FIR against company for fraud.

                    I received a call from Mr. Daniel, a representative of fun city holidays saying that I have won a lucky draw. He told me that their company has selected 3 people from the country out of all the people who have shopped online on a particular day and that I am one of them. Further he added that i[censored] pay RS. 5999, you will become a member of funcity holidays and we will provide you with a 3 night package in any 4 str hotel in any destination in the country. Over that they gave me an option of choosing a gift which they would give me. The options were iPhone 5, blackberry 9220 or a Htc tablet. I chose the iPhone 5 and paid online from my credit card . They said that it would get delivered to me within 24hrs. After 24hrs I called them inquiring about it. They said that I will get delivery within the next 24hrs. But I sill didn't. I kept calling them and the courier company, ie, ondot courier more than 10 times a day. But I did not get any response. I realised something was fishy. So I checked on google whether their is something related to this. That is when I came across this website and realised that like me, they have cheated many others.
