I have taken membership from country vacations. And totally unhappy with the servise. From Last 3 month I am trying to reach the members they dont pick up the call. Their customer Service is shut down. Trying to reach Khalid, Manjula, Glory & Mr Prabhu. Every one is a big cheaters. country vacations is a fradulant company.

I ahve become member of Country vacation, and country club sisnce from 3 years. From these years we couldnt avail a single holiday from the country vacation, their sales executive are oversmart, and are giving flase promises to innocent people to buy thier membership, and then they are not heard by any one, we several times complant the customer care but their customer care also is a lier, no one helps, hope this consumer forum helps us sort out our problem, and get our refund back soon. Incidentaly when we were at Baroipur(PL see point no 3 below) mr. Azhar in charge of kolkata office was present at Baroipur with his family members. When we insisted upon showing him the poor maintenance and lack of promised facilities , he simply turned his back and denied any responsibility regarding this resort

we wish to draw your attention to the following :

1.On 17.01.2011 we attended in your office at Kolkata on your request for a presentation. We were told that a club(CK_27) will be functional from 8.02.2011 at KASBA, Kolkata.The brochures advertises that this club will soon have "state-of-art clubbing ameniteses .........including swimming pool and indoor games" We were interested in membership of a social club which we can often visit for entertainment and as such given consent for membership. Till now no such club is operational.

2. When we had given consent for club membership, my credit card was handed over to your relationship officer for payment of membership fees which is rs. 36000 /- . To our surprise he debited an amount of Rs 101,000/- towards membership of vacation club (for which we were not interested.) While questioned your people why this step is taken, they start talking tall talks of the vacations clubs, painted rosy pictures of the Resorts etc and handed me a receipt for payment of rs. 101000?- instead of reverting back

3. Since then we were cosntantly enquiring about opening of the said club and requesting to revert back my membership. Instead your people tried to console us telling that a club exists at Baruipur with full facilities of swiming, etc. We had taken reservations for 18th & 19th March 2011 at Baruipur Resort. we were allotted a studio and we had to pay
Rs 700/- per day towards utility charges. Sorry to say that there is no utility worth mentioning for which one should pay. There is no swiming pool, no TV, no AC, a junk Geyser not in working condition, toilets chocked, the rooms are extremely shabby, walls not cleaned or pained for years. Kikndly explain what for is the service charge, or else refund me the molney paid. Other occupants shared the same view.

you will certainly understand that these are breach of trust on your part as your people had given false presentation and verbal assurances Incidentaly we have read in the website hundreds of such complaint of cheating and trapping people to sqeeze out money. We may caution you that media people are always eagerly waiting to probe and publisize any breaking news of such big organisations

Under the circumstances, we request you again to revert the membership,forCK_27 club at Kasba only and adjust the payment accordingly and advise the bank with immediate effect subject to opening of the said club on or before 8th April 2011

Your immediate action in this regard is solicited.

This is to inform you that.......

1) The Country Vacations (Kolkata) employee Amit Kr Chowdhury called me as I was selected in a draw and I attended their office at 86B/2,Gajraj Chambers,1st floor,Topsia Road,Kolkata -46.I also took yearly membership signing on the contract. I gave 5000/- by cash and 15000/- by cheque on 03/03/2011.

2) On that very day I got news about one of my relative's cancer and a lot of money is about to be spent for his treatment and I have to help him. So, the next day I called Amit, told him to cancel this membership and also informed him to not to submit the cheque as it was about to bounce. But he threatened us about legal action if I don't give money.

3) Customer care called us for verification and I also told the fact that its not possible for me to continue this membership, I can't give money further, please stop it.

5) But still they submitted the cheque.

...... so its clear they started harassing me.

Could you suggest possible way out ?

I am also a victim of Country Vacations. I am going ahead in filing a case on them in a Bangalore consumer court. I have taken legal advice from a lawyer and found out that there are good chances of me winning this case. Through your programme I would like to lodge my complaint

against Country Vacations. I am a member of Country Club where I had paid rs. 70,000 at once on the basis of several promise made by sales persons during oral conversation made by their sales reprasantative meeting called at reputed hotel in Kanpur city. When I am going to avail my leave vaccation under the scheme they had neither provide any satisfied benefit to me nor replied my mail till date only I had made huge expenses over my telephone calls.Even in the month of November I tried to avail their services at Hyderabad and Kovalam, but they said their guest house is not vacant at that time. Because of this I had to bear huge expense and manage the hotel at my own.
They are just cheating us. I want my money to be refunded from them.
As of now they had received the payment but not provided any service
as promised.
With htis mail I am enclosing all my electronic conversation that I had with County Vacations Personnel till date.

Fraud & Cheating

Herewith I would like to Caution everybody about Country Club/ Country Vacations. They will talk to you only till get payment from you after that they will behave like Thieves & Burglars.

I had taken their membership & now feeling sorry for having done so.

I would like to gather more people preferably from Pune to fight against them in Mob.

Those who got cheated from Country Club Please get in touch with me at [protected].

It was 09/11/2010 I with my wife was called by County Vacations office situated at crystal palm-Jaipur to collect my won price in a lucky draw.
After reaching to the office we found that there so many other people were there and they may be called bay the same way.
There we asked to attend there program of getting membership.
Infect we were not interested in there membership but there were multiple people of the company and they make a different environment to show there plan they keep us sitting and forcing to get there membership and pay for the same.
On 09/11/2011 we have paid Rs.10,000 against Membership No:ZDT104/888 and asked to pay remaining Rs.55,000 latter.
On the same day we realizes that it was a fraud and on the next day again I went there and asked to return my money but they refused me.

I have seen so many complaints on country vacations and still there seems to be no action taken. How can they go scott free after cheating so many people. I have paid rs.35,000 and supposed to get 5 packages of 2nights and 3 days. Never been able to use it even once.

They keep saying there is no accomodation etc and all silly reasons.

Request authorities to take some action on country vacations lest they cheat more people

Some backgorund:
My wife had filled a luck draw coupon at Big Bazaar in Fatima Nagar, Pune. After 2-3 days, she got a call from Country Vacations, Pune and the call was regarding the coupon which we filled in Big Bazaar has got selected in their lucky draw & they have gift for us. They asked us to visit their office and collect the gift. We were very happy and we went to Country Vacations office pune on 15th Sept 2010. At their place they told us, we have to attend some 90 mins presentation, and then they will give us our gift. Out of curiosity we decided to attend their presentation. In that presentation, they hypnotize us by their words and all promises. They showed us different booklets, there hotel chains, certificates and their ads in newspapers. In short words, their credit value in the market. Hence we thought this company is genuine and we can take membership of 5 yrs. Still we though to give a second chance before buying this membership and we asked them to give us some time and we will tell you on second day. But somehow they manage to convince us by giving us Rs.30000 discount on our package for that we needed to buy the membership on the very same day. We filled their forms and signed it. They ask us to pay Rs.50000 as down-pay and if we pay it by Credit Card. They promised that, that amount will get convert into 36 EMIs with 0% processing fee and 0% interest rate in a week hence I gave my SBI Credit Card. In the next month SBI charged us interest for country vacation payment. We inquired in SBI and they told us they have not received any request from country vacation to convert their amount in EMI’s. After that we visited country vacation office many times and filled up the form twice to get our amount in to EMI’s. They keep promising us that it will done within 5 days but still today that amt is not converted into EMI’s and I am paying interest to SBI. Now we are feeling they have cheated us with their all fake promises. We searched some members like us who are cheated by country vacations.
They promised us below things:
1) On 15th Sept 2010, they told us there are only 20 luck families who can avail these facilities from pune. ( till date we can see they are telling the same thing to new people and cheating new families)
2) Their country club pune branch will start in two month and we can avail their facilities for life time at free of cost from today. (today they are saying, you can avail their facilities only after paying full amount Rs.95000/-)
3) One year free Tasha package.
4) We will have membership cards in 30-45 days.( still we have not received any cards)
5) We can use their club for family occasions. (but their club is not available only to avail these facility)
6) 4 star & 5 star living in their hotels at free of cost. You can any time book their hotel and you will get sure booking for your request (if we try to book their hotel, it is always already booked for next two months)
7) Free passes for any special occasion celebrating in country club worldwide, they will call us to collect the passes. (still today we have not received any call or passes for their programs.)
8) After every release of any new movie, they will show us that movie in next week free of cost in their club. (till date nothing happened)
There are many such promises which they have not fulfilled till date.

12-Jan-2010: Received call from a lady that we have been selected as winner from a Lucky Draw. She requested to collect the gift from the local Country Vacations office.

16-Jan-2010: We visited the local office. They requested to attend a brief presentation prior to collecting the gift. We agreed. We were directed to occupy the allocated seats. The presenter for us was Mehraz (M: [protected]). He was assisted by a lady viz. Unnisah Begum (M: [protected]). We sat through the presentation for about 1.5 hours. They made tall claims on how we could plan our vacations better in the next 5 years and save money. Since they were insisting that the offer would be expiring on that day, we decided to buy the Membership (Period: 5 years) at a fee of INR 72500/-. We made the entire payment through our Credit Card on the same day.

1st Week of Mar-2010: After extensive follow-up with the hostile representatives from Country Vacations we finally got the Membership Card (Mem. No: DT13HYD/1227).

Mar-2010 to Aug-2010: We made more than 10 attempts during this time period to avail the benefits under Country Vacations membership plan. Every time we used to call the Reservation[protected] or[protected] to book for a place the standard response was: “No availability in the requested time period” (Even when the call was atleast 45 days prior to the planned date of visit). We were so frustrated that we requested the person at the reservation to book us at any place wherever he felt like (at multiple occasions). In these situations he/she used to respond as: “We would come back to you” (and would abruptly disconnect the phone). We never got any call back.

Aug-2010 to Oct-2010: We were shattered the way we were “cheated” by Country Vacations. We lost our hard-earned money and faith. We were desperately looking at if we could sell the membership. We could not find our way.

13-Nov-2010: Knowing that we have been trapped, we made a last attempt on 13-Nov-2010 in case we could avail a vacation in end Dec 2010. We made call to the Reservation. The person replied: “No Availability in any of the places”. Immediately after 5 minutes the person called back and insisted that we must pay INR 4000/- as Administrative Charges.

If you go through these series of incidents, you would understand how your organization has played with the money, dream and sentiments of a family. And I am not the only victim. There are at least a few hundred similar complaints you must have already seen and experienced.

I strongly urge you to refund my hard-earned money. You being the head of the organization, you must own the responsibility to refund this money. Please take steps to refund this money NOW!

as per the member offer, i m eligible to book 10 rooms / year, and i am member since 2 years, till now i never got oppurtunity to use my member ship benefits, because when ever i call for booking they tell me booking not available, and all these days i used to think that it was just my bad time, but this time it was not the case, i wanted to book room for nov 14 and i called the person who works for country club goa name : Manish, i was informed that rooms are not no available and was told to book after nov 29 2010, as they informed i made my flight plans and bookings, and wanted to book it on Dec 2nd 2010, the moment i say i am member they say me rooms are not available, but when i go online and check it says there are rooms avail, after which i try to contact customer care, and i dont get any help i ask for manager they tell me that no manager available, later i called goa country vacations and checked and the guy told me i cant book it if i am member on Dec 2nd, i asked for copy of terms and conditions, they are not ready to send me terms and conditions

I am a victim of Country Vacations flatter. We went in for a membership on 19 June 2008. Due to poor services, when we approached for refund in Sep 2010, they apologised and promised to arrange a stay at Goa. Our hopes went invain when we were denied the same.These people are fraudsters . Beware and stay away!!!!!!!!!!

I took themembership of country vacations and paid 1.0 lakh rupees to them,I was supposed to enjoy their vacations but they offered me none,also I was promised a 2000 sq ft plot in birdie V near warangal.Nothing a got.I need my money back.kindly help me out in solving this matter.

I got a call from country club offering free lucky gifts and asked me to come to their club(Amrutha Castle) to collect the gifts.Like me many others were called and there we were given a demo for 2hrs.The demo was all about taking a lifetime membership with country club and getting free plots at Warangal or Devanahalli.We went for the the one near Devanahalli, which is in actual not there, its actually at Hindhupur which comes in A.P.We made a down payment of Rs30,000 and another payment of Rs 70,000 followed by monthly installments of Rs 5,500 for a period of 18 months.After all teh installments we ahd to followup with their executive for the registration of the plots for an year.Now that we have got the registration done..to our shock, the plots numbers are different to whta they alloted us in the Counry club letter head to what its on the registration papers.When we visited the sites in 2008, few construciton work was going on and they were laying roads in between the sited,But our recent visit was a shock ot us.The site has come up like a jungle and the plots which are assigned us is now in 6th phase which is almost 6kms from the one which was alloted to us previously.The developments which were promised were, a club, swimming pool and other such facilites no where exists.While taking up the membership they told us that we can resale the plots once its registered, but it should be via country club only.And we will be given the amount according to the market fluctuaions at that particular period.

I feel all the promises by Country club is false and i have been cheated.Now I would like to fiel a case against Country Club for makin false promises and cheating us.I want to et my money back.

I have all the documents with me including the registration papers with all the receipts of the payment made.

Please let me know the exact procedure to fiel a case against them.

Kindly refer to my complaint to Country vacations below wherein We ve felt cheated by the club in offering me vacations for my family.The executive Mr Sreekumar from country vacation has taken our signature on his worksheet and then swiped our credit card for Rs 60000/-. On the day of signing the agreement We found that their clause of charging for children above 12 years was not acceptable to us and the same was not mentioned to us when our signature were taken on the worksheet..We refused to sign the agreement and then their executive Mr. Sreekumar promised us that he will give us membership for four adults and two kids provided we gave some of our references to accept their club membership. Its been ten months since we have been sincerely paying the credit card EMI but till date the promised scheme of four adults and two kids has not taken place.We are not interested in their membership and written several letters to their higher ups in Hyderabad but they are not replying.
We as your customer seek your help in solving this problem because like us,these people are fooling sincere customers .We request you to kindly make them (country vacations) refund our money since we are not interested in their membership.

I was approached by the crooks for writing of name and telephone number outside the More Super Market in Bellary for some lucky winner draw. After some days got a call from "Nisha" [protected] that I was lucky winner by the Country Vacations in Hubli and that I should come with my wife to collect the gift which is a trip to Manali. So both o[censored]s went to the venue in Bala residency recently on 14th July to find that many people like us also had got calls similarly and they too were lucky winners. The receptionist asked us to wait a few minutes for the presentation. So we thought we would be presented the gifts but were presented with a presentation of the company which we were not interested. They aroused interest by telling some bull [censored] and all and made us part with Rs. 50000 in cash. They were so much clever not give give time for us to think and have duped us this amount. They also presented with a on spot agreement signed by the representative sitting there with lots and lots of promises. We were asked to cough up 2,00,000 for a life time Holiday but we insisted that they open a Local office and then only sign us up as a member. But we have not received any thing until now, no correspondence, no phone call or any thing.
