I am a member of Country Vacations (CVCH3CLUB30LB104600) since October 2011.
I received call from Chennai AMC team of Country vacations for an offer to pay the AMC charges fully with a discount and paid all membership including AMC charges fully by 2013 and also visited 6-7 for 6-7 vacation years.
Similarly in Jan 2020, I got an offer from Country vacation customer service team for special scheme activation such that I can book 2 rooms. I paid for it and was successfully upgraded after that. I booked couple of vacations with my family to Kodaikanal.
Also, I received another offer in Jul 2022 for VIP scheme activation, by which I can make instant bookings. I paid for that and got that activated.
As per my membership, I can avail 6 nights/7 days per year with 1 room or 2 nights/3days with 2 rooms, if this exceeds they adjust if any unused vacation during previous years or vacation balance from next year. Hence cumulative duration for stay is only 6 nights/7 days per year.
This year-2023, we wanted to book for a vacation, but while boking the app is asking to pay Rs 8255/- as AMC due. When I complained to customer care, I was told that the AMC is for the second room which I could avail as per the special scheme activation, this was not told to me while activating this scheme. Also the duration of stay is going to be still 6 nights/7 days.
when checked, that though my family is effectively staying for only 6 nights/7 days.
Now I requested them to cancel the special scheme and vip scheme. I do not want any refund of those, asking them only to let me avail only 1 room without additional AMC charges as paid the AMC fully. But I was told that is not possible to cancel once activated and hence I have to pay to avail the vacation.
I now feel completely cheated by Country Vacations in terms of these offers.
