I have a used car and i paid for a motor card comprehensive plus third party motor insurance policy through Coverfox on Feb 15
There after I never received the comprehensive policy from united insurance as the customer care people kept asking me for previous owner transfer details, even though I told them i wanted a fresh policy. I told them I am okay to pay more, just issue a new policy and i dont want transfer of old policy from previous owner.Since the issue wasnt getting resolved I requested for cancellation and refund.They informed me that, i cannot cancel this policy(which is not issued) unitil i show another insurance is existing for my car.
On feb 21 i took a new policy from orientel insurance and send a mail to cover fox along with my rc. I raised a request for cancellation and refund on feb 21.I just want my money back from cover fox.
My problem- there is no valid policy in my name from united insurance.but still cover fox is not refunding my money.They are asking me for previous owner transfer request. why is my money not getting refunded.
My request-please refund my money.
As per my understanding, i can cancel a policy whenever i wish. and i believe i have requested this during the freelook period.
