I purchased my Oppo Reno 3 Pro mobile through Bajaj Finserv along with Fonesafe Classic plan on 24/12/2020. My device got damaged and I filed an online claim on 21st December 2021. They received the entire physical documents on 27th December. While tracking today about my claim, I was shocked to see that my claim has been closed. I couldn't find any reasons there in the website. So I called their customer care number. They told me that my claim has been rejected due to three reasons:
1. I need to file claim request within 24 hours of damage. How can I file a request without enough money on my hand for the repairs?
2. The purchase bill was not in the GST format !!
3. In photographs I submitted, there is no IMEI number visible. ( I think there are still in the Nokia removable battery era so that I can click along with IMEI number)
I spent almost 13000 Rs for the repairs through authorised Oppo service centre. (their bill clearly mentions by IMEI number and details regarding the repairs)
So who is responsible for this daylight robbery???
How can one trust such pathetic sevice providers any more.
