Cred — Credit card bill payment failure

Hello,
I have paid my credit card dues through cred yesterday. Yesterday was my due date. Now, today I got a notification from cred that payment failed though the amount got deleted from my account (I have attended screenshot below). Now since yesterday was due date, from today onwards I will be charged interest because of negligence from cred. Why should I pay for Cred's mistake?
