Crisil real estate ratings are completely bogus. They are giving very high ratings to pvt. Ltd. Companies which have zero process and data integrity. Customers are buying from these companies based on a rating given to a single project of the company. When they have a terrible experience and complain to crisil they are told that the rating applies to only one project and not all the projects of the company. At the same time crisil does nothing to prevent the company from advertising the rating on its main website or in its advertisements for all its projects. We all know what a great rating crisil and icra gave to pnb even during the decade long geetanjali scandal! We cant expect a thorough rating from them. Beware of buying property from a project with a crisil real estate rating. I bought a flat from one such company with crisil six stars project and another flat from a large publicly listed conglomerate and i can tell there is no comparison between the experience. Seepage was not repaired in flat of developer with CRISIL real estate star rating for many years. There is no process for recording owner complaint and I was dealing myself with plumber and repair should have taken few hours but was not done for many years by the developer with Crisil real estate star rating. Once you pay full money for the property they simply want to ignore you. When I complained to team of CRISIL real estate rating they sent me a reply saying that my property was not rated by them. Most of the issues raised in the complaint were relevant to all projects of the CRISIL star rated developer but were not even addressed in the reply. CRISIL real estate star rating team itself does not keep a record of complaints. Few months after my complaint they raised the rating of the developer from 5 stars to 6 stars. I bought the property only because it was from a CRISIL star rated developer and this is my experience.

Very bad experience with developer who has crisil real estate rating of six star. When I complained to CRISIL real estate rating they simply raised the rating from five star to six star. They sent a reply to my complaint which did not even address the issues raised. They are not giving any number to their complaints and are simply not maintaining any record of complaints.
When I complained to CRISIL real estate ratings about the deficiencies in the process and service of a developer with CRISIL real estate rating they took only few hours to send a reply rubbishing my complaint.
It is quite clear that they did not bother to even investigate the complaint before rubbishing it.
This is the condition of the CRISIL real estate rating team.
